I was drawn in by the phrase "Wagyu and lava grill" and decided to give it a try. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere and great service since we were seated in a private room. While the Wagyu lava grill was the main dish, I was surprised that the other dishes were neither cooked on lava nor made with Wagyu. In that sense, it felt more like a high-end izakaya.

Overall, I was very satisfied. This is not a typical yakiniku course where you leave feeling stuffed with meat and a bit of stomach ache. This restaurant is perfect for me because you can order high-quality meat starting from 100g, and they offer a variety of healthy Japanese dishes besides meat. The restaurant is located about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station West Exit, easily found using Google Maps. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant - bright counter seats where you can see the chef's skills and the vibrant colors of the dishes. It felt like a casual Japanese restaurant or a casual traditional Japanese cuisine place. The service was impeccable, and Chef Nagamori's smile was lovely. The service was attentive, warm, and made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Today, I had the following menu items (I eat less these days, so the portions may seem small): - Salt-boiled edamame: Hot and perfectly salted, deliciously plump! - Rolled omelette with dashi: Soft and flavorful with a strong dashi taste, delicious on its own! - Truffle-scented pride potato: Lightly scented with truffle, addictively delicious, goes well with beer! - Lean sirloin: Slightly chewy due to some tendons, but paired well with yuzu pepper! - Fillet Chateaubriand: I was torn between this and another option, but it was perfectly fatty and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The salt really enhanced the richness of the meat! I'm happy to have found a restaurant I want to visit again!

I visited the restaurant for the Kuuga course at Hot Pepper [Plum] which allows you to enjoy chicken, pork, beef, fish, and vegetables all in one course. Originally priced at 8,000 yen, but discounted to 5,000 yen. There were a total of 13 dishes. The meat was cooked to perfection and delicious, and the sashimi was also tasty. As someone else mentioned, the seasoning was a bit too salty, which was a bit disappointing. Being guided to a private room was nice and helped us relax.

The special season for tea farmers is when they visit the new tea once a year. The 88th night falls around May 2nd, counted 88 days from the beginning of spring. During this time, events such as tea picking experiences are held in various regions including Shizuoka Prefecture. This year's Golden Week had no travel restrictions, so many people may have enjoyed events and trips. Hello! It's Takumon, still suffering from May blues ☻ Today's feature is "Wagyu Lava Grill Sora" Located just a 2-minute walk from Ebisu Station, on the 3rd floor of the appealing building, Animo. Opened in April 2022, it offers a new style of casual kaiseki cuisine. The chef's desire is for everyone to experience high-end kaiseki cuisine in a casual way. Abundantly using carefully selected seasonal ingredients from various prefectures in Kyushu, they grill them generously on lava stones. Enjoy Japanese BBQ. Indulge in A5 grade Saito beef grilled on lava stones. Using carefully selected ingredients from various regions in Kyushu. There is a fully private room available for up to 8 people. I visited during lunch on a weekday. I discovered the restaurant from the outdoor sign. Oh, this building is nice, right? I remember the yakiniku restaurant here was also good. First, the elevator was comfortable and clean. Wagyu Lava Grill Sora... Kuuga! Wasn't there a Kuuga in Kamen Rider? Starring Joe Odagiri... nostalgic. I thought for about 2 seconds that Kuuga would be a cool name for a boy. The elevator opens. As soon as it opens, it's a different world, Kuuga all over the floor. The elegant interior exudes a sense of luxury and is very beautiful. There are private rooms, so it seems suitable for business meetings as well. I took a seat at the counter. There is a basket behind to store your belongings, and they serve warm tea and a hot towel. The staff's service is quite good. They are polite and brisk, making you feel comfortable. The BGM is high-quality jazz with vocals. The restroom is clean, with amenities available, making it comfortable. They asked for cash payment for lunch as a general rule. Today, I will have the "Barley Rice and Seared Pork Set Meal" for 1100 yen. *Rice, miso soup, and one free refill. I came to eat the weekly special set meal after seeing the outdoor sign, but it seems they have already run out for today... What?! I was completely caught off guard and panicked. Wait, I want to eat the C's tororo! So, I ordered it. By the way, the weekly special was something like simmered beef tendons. After a while, the dish was brought to me. Oh, it looks fantastic and very appetizing. They also gave me a small dish of the weekly special as a service, so I had it as a side dish. Thank you for the thoughtful gesture. The delicious simmered dish with a sweet broth was delightful. I tasted the miso soup first. Yes, it's quite delicious, with a homely taste. You can already tell that this restaurant is good just from this. Let's try eating only the tororo... No, let's pour the special tororo, made by mixing barley rice with original dashi, and take a bite. It's delicious and easy to eat. The meat comes with lemon and wasabi... It seems a bit too seared, almost crispy with oil. Is this the right way? Maybe because it's small... I'm not quite sure. The kobachitchi and pickles are a stable Japanese side dish. I really love Japanese food... I'm glad I'm Japanese, today and every day. I had a second helping of rice and miso soup. Yes, it's delicious, and there are many types of side dishes. The price also feels reasonable. Above all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, so it's enjoyable here. The evening seems nice too. Should I go get a drink? Ate everything and went to pay. I wonder if you are supposed to pay at your seat for the bill? Thank you for the meal. This is Takumon, signing off. Bye-bye!

In the midst of the pandemic, many lunch spots in the business district of Ebisu have closed down, making it difficult to find new places to dine. However, a new restaurant recently opened called "Wagyu Lava Grill Sora Ga", offering a perfect blend of taste, service, and price for a delightful lunch experience in Ebisu. The restaurant has a traditional Japanese atmosphere, but at night they serve lava-grilled dishes. The lunch menu is particularly impressive, with a weekly special set priced at only 900 yen. The chef, who comes from a renowned Japanese restaurant, ensures that each dish is carefully prepared. The main dish on this particular day was a thick-sliced sea bream bowl, seasoned perfectly to complement the rice. The set also included side dishes like fried chicken and various small plates, all of which were delicious. The miso soup and rice are refillable for free, making it a truly satisfying meal. The menu changes weekly, offering a variety of options such as curry and barley porridge. The restaurant also offers a selection of shochu for those dining in the evening. Located on the 3rd floor of a building near Ebisu Station, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit for a delightful lunch experience.

It is located about a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station. The course dishes are compact but all handmade and delicious. The restaurant is not very spacious but clean and comfortable. Lunch seems to be popular as well, so I would like to visit next time.

Head to a lava grill restaurant near Ebisu Station! The interior has a counter and table seats, with the table seats being completely private rooms. Reservations are recommended! This time, we went for the 5000 yen course, and let me tell you... the quality for the price of 5000 yen? The cost performance is amazing! The course was very satisfying, starting with a seasonal appetizer, followed by cod roe potato, tempura beans, and vinegar meat, all with exquisite portions and delicious seasoning. The sashimi of the day was amberjack and sea bream, with the amberjack being thick and delicious. The onion with sweet miso and dashi was a flavor I could eat every day at home. A salad was served in between, and by the time we got to the main lava grill, featuring seasonal vegetables, Hakata chicken wings, Kagoshima black pork, and Miyazaki beef, we were already quite full. Everything was grilled to perfection with the right amount of salt, making it all delicious. The finale was a beef simmered rice dish that was incredibly tasty. We left the restaurant very satisfied and full, and even the dessert was great! This restaurant is highly recommended for a reasonably priced, delicious dining experience in an adult atmosphere. Definitely check it out!

I used it on the weekend. I searched for a place with private rooms and a bit of all-you-can-drink, and visited. We were able to get a private room for 4 people. There is also a counter in the shape of a "L" where about 8 people can sit. There were about 3 pairs of 2 people. The course (including all-you-can-drink) was 6600 yen. I was happy to see a variety of appetizers. The sashimi was decent. The most reasonable course included grilled chicken and vegetables. It comes in a large plate all at once, so it's a shame if it gets cold. Also, the chicken was not as delicious as at a slightly more upscale yakitori place. Maybe beef or pork is recommended? There were some items that I forgot to take a picture of, but my stomach was full. The fact that we could have a private room in a beautiful space for drinking was highly rated. Thank you for the meal.

Tabelog 3.08 ✍️ Wagyu Lava Grill at Kuuga Ebisu: Kuuga Course with Two Types of Saito Beef, and the Special Kuuga Curry Rice. On this day, I visited "Wagyu Lava Grill Kuuga" for a special time before opening. This restaurant offers a variety of dishes using carefully selected ingredients from Kyushu prefectures, including A5 rank 10th grade or higher Miyazaki beef (Saito beef) grilled exuberantly on lava, as well as meat, vegetables, and seafood. It is a wonderful casual Japanese restaurant that opened in April 2022, where you can enjoy these dishes at a very reasonable price. The handsome manager carefully grilled the meat on lava, with the left side being sirloin and the right side being rump. Accompanied by Wonder Peppers from Miyazaki, Purple Daikon from Fukuoka, and Silk Sweet Potatoes from Fukuoka, the meat is enjoyed with Japanese sauce, yuzu pepper, and Maldon sea salt (rich in minerals and sweetness). The sirloin has a rich aroma and sweetness typical of Miyazaki beef, while the rump has a strong umami flavor and a rich sweetness. Both meats are top-notch quality deserving of the title of Japan's number one Wagyu. Additionally, the Wonder Peppers are larger and thicker than regular bell peppers, with a slight sweetness. The Purple Daikon has a strong sweetness and crispy texture, while the Silk Sweet Potatoes have a silky smooth texture. The vegetables are cooked with freshness and care, bringing out their natural sweetness. The special Kuuga Curry Rice is made with chicken keema curry, designed to be easy to eat even after drinking. Made with fragrant chicken and a light roux, it is a curry that you would want to savor while it's hot. In addition to the dishes, the restaurant offers a variety of courses at very reasonable prices, where you can enjoy the award-winning Miyazaki beef. They also have a la carte menu items such as Lemon Sour made with only lemon peel and fruit, and a dashi-filled Dashimaki Tamago. You can also order various cuts of Miyazaki beef by 100g increments, and they can accommodate custom cooking based on your preferences. Kuuga is a high-class casual Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy fine dining in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the delicious food and conversation on this day. I will definitely visit again for special occasions like Ebisu entertainment.

Located just a 1-minute walk from Ebisu Station, "Kuga" is a Kyushu cuisine and meat grill restaurant that opened at the end of April. Since my first visit in May, I have been going there every week. The two chefs behind the counter mentioned that they moved from Hakata to open this place in Tokyo. They have their own connections for sourcing fresh Kyushu ingredients. The quality of the ingredients, whether it's the meat (Saikyo beef from Miyazaki with A5 rank and grade 10 or higher), fish (premium fish like cuttlefish and blowfish directly sourced from Kyushu), or vegetables (unique vegetables that change weekly), is exceptional. The curry is particularly outstanding. I started with the course menu but now enjoy the a la carte options, and I am always impressed. After exploring eateries in Ebisu for over 10 years, I find that Kuga's quality in meat, fish, and vegetables is so high that I no longer feel the need to go elsewhere. The prices are surprisingly reasonable for the quality, making it a must-visit for delicious meals with great value. The interior has a lovely Japanese ambiance, and there are private rooms available for various occasions. I believe that once this place gains more recognition, it will become a popular spot.

Located just a 2-minute walk from the west exit of Ebisu Station, this restaurant is on the 3rd floor of a building. I attended a private party that was reserved by a gourmet acquaintance. The interior is new and very clean, with private rooms and counter seats available. The private room has a calm atmosphere that is perfect for a gathering. This restaurant is known for using carefully selected seasonal ingredients from various prefectures in Kyushu and cooking them generously on a hot lava stone. On this day, my gourmet friend arranged a special course for us, which included a variety of dishes such as grilled salad, fried eggplant with mushroom sauce, seasonal grilled vegetables, grilled Hakata chicken, grilled Kagoshima black pork, grilled Miyazaki beef, chicken and burdock mixed rice, red miso soup, and fruit sherbet. The grilled salad was particularly delicious, with fresh vegetables, bacon, and chunky ingredients. The grilled meats were full of flavor and the ingredients shone through. The mixed rice with chicken and burdock was also tasty. We also added curry for an extra charge, which was rich and flavorful. Overall, we were very satisfied with the price for the course with all-you-can-drink option. This restaurant is perfect for a relaxed gathering. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

It's too reasonable to offer too much!!! The restaurant I chose for my friend's birthday celebration the other day was here, which opened in April. They bring in meat and vegetables from Kyushu through a special route, and two young men are working hard in Tokyo from Kyushu. We opted for the course on this day, and we were amazed! Not only meat, but also squid, tuna, striped jack, sea bream, blowfish, eel, and more are served! Sweet and delicious vegetables like sesame mackerel are also served! It's packed with a lot of food! Of course, there is also an a la carte menu available at an affordable price. The chef, with a confident look, cooks wonderful Japanese beef on a hot plate and says, "Honestly, with these ingredients, in Ginza, it would be more than double the price!" I agree. The dessert at the end was also made into a birthday plate at no extra charge. The all-you-can-drink option allows you to enjoy various types of drinks for only 2000 yen, which is very appreciated! It was a wonderful time at this lovely restaurant with its special dressing and heartfelt touches. They are currently running an opening campaign this month, so it's definitely worth a visit (*^^*) If there is one thing... the counter was dirty with charcoal flying around, so I wish it had been cleaner since we were there for a birthday celebration (^_^;) Nevertheless, it was a very satisfying restaurant!

This restaurant is filled with the chef's desire for everyone to experience high-class kaiseki cuisine in a casual way. They use carefully selected seasonal ingredients from various prefectures in Kyushu. The meat is Miyazaki A5 rank beef, with a grade of 10 or higher, cooked slowly on a lava far-infrared grill to lock in the flavor and create a gentle texture. They also offer high-quality fish that is not easily found in Tokyo, delivered directly from the source. I visited with a friend and we opted for the 7700 yen course with all-you-can-drink option. The course was at a special limited price for the opening. The restaurant is conveniently located near the station, with a cozy atmosphere and a moderate number of seats, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The menu we had included fruit tomato marinated appetizer, Miyazaki Saito beef sushi, Japanese-style bagna cauda, toro sashimi, wagyu liver cutlet, lava-grilled Saito beef, summer vegetable lava grill, and sweet basil sherbet for dessert.

I was invited by a friend to visit Suga, a newly opened restaurant located just a 2-minute walk from Ebisu Station! Impressions: The restaurant is very close to Ebisu Station and the interior is very new and clean. The tomato marinade was juicy and delicious. The beef sushi melted in my mouth! The Bagna Cauda was colorful and Instagram-worthy. The grilled meat was very tasty, with a hint of sweetness and tender texture. The fried rice at the end was amazing, with plenty of meat mixed in. It's a must-visit restaurant with delicious food, all-you-can-drink options, and great value for money. I definitely want to come back again! Thank you for the meal!

Despite the affordable prices, the restaurant is very clean and has a calm private room, making it suitable for casual business meetings. The lava-grilled dishes, such as Saito beef and summer vegetables, are cooked to perfection using far-infrared rays, resulting in tender and healthy meat. The presentation of the dishes, including marinated fruit tomatoes and Japanese-style bagna cauda, is elegant and the portions are generous. Overall, the food was delicious and reasonably priced!

A new meat cuisine restaurant quietly opened just a short walk from the west exit of Ebisu Station. A friend who had already visited brought me here because they thought I would like it as a meat lover. We ordered a la carte, choosing our favorite dishes. We started with champagne for a toast. The appetizer was marinated shishamo and chicken gizzard. - Sashimi (sea bream, cuttlefish) → Beautiful presentation and I was happy to see cuttlefish included even though we left it up to the chef. - Wagyu fatty tuna sashimi → I love raw meat. It was so tender and delicious that I ended up eating it all by myself. - Organic vegetable Japanese-style bagna cauda → It was a wonderful bagna cauda that was different from what I had imagined! The variety of vegetables was rich, and the miso-based sauce was delicious. I liked it so much that I asked them to prepare it for my next reservation. - Deep-fried taro and daikon radish → Fried taro and daikon radish with yuzu pepper and salt. The combination of crispy and tender was irresistible. It went well with alcohol. - Grilled vegetable assortment → Eggplant, bell pepper, zucchini. They were fresh and I quietly love this kind of dish. Another menu item I want to order again. - Local chicken on a hot stone → Chicken slowly grilled on a hot stone. Delicious and refreshing with lemon. - Miyazaki beef on a hot stone → At this restaurant, you can choose the cut and grams of meat you want. The meat is Miyazaki's brand beef, Saito beef. I ordered the Chateaubriand without hesitation. Needless to say, it was incredibly delicious. A must-try for meat lovers. - Sora Ga's specialty fried rice → We finished with fried rice. It was packed with meat, shiso leaves, and plum paste, and was very elaborate. If you like teppanyaki restaurant fried rice, you should definitely try this dish. - Basil granite with shiso leaves → We even finished dessert. It was a real surprise that this kind of restaurant is near such a station without any advertising. Once you visit, I think everyone will come back due to the delicious food, reasonable prices, and convenience. I immediately made a reservation for a private room next time and decided to have a girls' night out here. They also have a drink all-you-can-eat course, so I highly recommend this place!

I visited a newly opened restaurant in April, recommended by a friend. The interior had a sushi bar-like counter and private rooms, with a calm atmosphere and a hidden adult vibe that I liked. The showcase displayed seasonal fish and vegetables, looking visually appealing and tempting. I ordered triangular pork, Ichibo, striped jack, shiitake mushrooms, etc... You can order your favorite meat by the gram, and the variety is quite attractive. The juicy meat and oily striped jack paired well with the alcohol, and before I knew it, I had finished a bottle of red wine, sake, and sweet potato shochu. Personally, I highly recommend the pairing of doburoku sake and striped jack, a perfect match. Enjoying the great atmosphere, delicious meat, and fish, all for around 5000 yen per person, I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

This is a restaurant where you can be healed by the kindness of the owner and delicious meat. I made a reservation for a drinking party with my university friends based on the high reviews. The main target audience seems to be adults in their 20s and 30s with a clean and mature image. However, when we entered, it was the opposite - mostly occupied by people in their early 40s who seemed out of place. Despite feeling sorry for the mismatch, we, who have lived our lives like weeds, started chatting nonsense and creating a lively atmosphere with a lack of sophistication. I was constantly worried about when we would be kicked out, but every time I looked at the owner, he responded with a generous smile. We felt truly apologetic for our behavior as a group of seemingly ordinary middle-aged friends, but we couldn't help but get carried away by the owner's kindness and dive back into our silly conversations. And the meat dishes - they were really delicious. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the cooking and seasoning brought out the flavor of the meat perfectly. I thought it was a good deal, so if we're not banned, we would love to make a reservation for a private room with a more mature group next time. I highly recommend this place for a bright, clean adult date or a gathering with mature, quiet members.
