"Kinsyu," which opened in Akasaka in August 2022 as a popular restaurant affiliated with Otsuka's "Daiju," welcomed a new addition on July 7, 2023 - "Nare." Managed by former world boxing champion Takayama Itsunobu, this yakiniku restaurant is known for its hand-cut meats, including hormone and Morioka cold noodles. Takayama, an unusual owner chef with a background as a former boxer and the champion of the "Oriental and Pacific Welterweight," opened the first yakiniku restaurant, "Yakiniku Reimen Daiju," in Kitaoji, Toshima-ku, in April 2020. Following this, the affiliated restaurant Yakiniku Hormone Kinju opened, and about a year later, Nare opened its doors. Yakiniku Hormone Kinju Nare opened on July 7, 2022. The restaurant is located about 20 meters north of Akasaka Royal Plaza, along Akasaka Misuji Street. The nearest station is a 2-minute walk from Akasaka Station. Operating hours are from 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm (last order at 10:00 pm), with irregular holidays. There are 25 seats, including private rooms for up to 6 people. Reservations can be made by phone or online through Tabelog. Popular menu items include Special Raw Tongue Salt, Top Liver, and Morioka Cold Noodles. The meat is hand-cut without the use of machines. Be sure to try the special selected beef tongue. Whether you go to Otsuka Daiki, Akasaka Kinju, or Hanare, the beef tongue is incredibly delicious. The harami and lean meat are also really tasty. It's a top-notch restaurant where all your favorite beef tongue, harami, and yukkejan soup are delicious. It's becoming quite popular and reservations are getting harder to come by, so I make sure to book early. I will definitely go back!

Today I came with my company seniors, but I was disappointed that there was only Tiger Makgeolli. However, no matter what meat I ate, it was too delicious! The seasoning is strong, but it's a restaurant that makes you want to come back again. This restaurant does not have a set course, but you order each dish separately and cook it yourself. When you order, the staff will cook it for you and they cooked it to perfection.

Hanare-san was my first visit. Just like the main store, it was delicious. The harami was definitely the best. Everyone also praised the raw tongue with salt. You can choose a half size for the cold noodles. I will definitely go again! Also, everyone was eating pig's feet at every table.

I have been to Daiki, Kinju, and Kinju Hanare. Daiki was delicious and I visited several times, but I felt like the quality gradually declined. Then Kinju opened, so I started going there. This time, I visited Hanare for the first time, and I hope they can maintain this level of deliciousness.

Located in Akasaka, Yakiniku Horumon Kinju is the second branch of Yakiniku Reimen Daiju in Otsuka. Despite being in a competitive area, it has become a difficult-to-book restaurant. In July 2023, a new branch called Kinju no Hanare opened across the street from Kinju. This compact branch offers private rooms for an additional fee of ¥3,000, attracting a slightly different clientele compared to the main branch. Although the Special Harami was sold out on the day of the visit, we enjoyed delicious cuts such as premium raw tongue salt, top liver, top tripe, and the exclusive Wagyu Yukke. We finished off the meal with sweet soup and chewy Morioka cold noodles. With three drinks and various dishes, the bill came to around ¥8,000 per person, making it a reasonably priced and enjoyable yakiniku experience. Unlike the main branch, reservations are easier to come by at this branch, and the staff's hospitality is just as exceptional. This is truly a great opportunity to visit this restaurant.

"I went to Yakiniku Horumon Kinju Hanare in Akasaka for a friend's birthday celebration. It just opened this month, and compared to the main Kinju branch, it was easier to get a reservation here. The special selected salted beef tongue was the most delicious. Hanare, a yakiniku restaurant in Akasaka. The main store opened in the latter half of last year and quickly became a hot topic, making it difficult to make reservations. Hanare is literally a detached building from the main store, just a 30-second walk away. It's less than a 5-minute walk from the nearest Akasaka Station. Located right in the middle of the street crowded with Korean restaurants in Akasaka, it may be a bit hard to spot because it's on the second floor. The interior is cozy with around 4 table seats. There also seems to be a private room in the back. Although it has fewer seats compared to the main store, it was always full. The best dish was the Hanare-exclusive menu, Yukhoe! I indulged in one serving each. When eaten with rice, the fat melts just right and melts in your mouth. The sauce is not too overpowering, allowing you to fully enjoy the sweetness of the meat! When mixed with the egg yolk, it adds a mild richness, making it simply the best...! Definitely a must-order. I recommend ordering one by one to avoid any arguments. The dishes I had that day included the following: Kimchi assortment, Yukhoe, Special raw tongue, Salt silcrose, Fresh hormone, Upper mino (sauce, salt), and Cold noodles. The kimchi assortment includes a long yam kimchi that is so delicious you can't help but order it. The raw tongue with salt has a solid thickness and a satisfying texture! The tongue here is truly amazing, with a perfect balance of sweetness and not too heavy on the fat. The silcrose is carefully grilled one by one by the staff. When mixed with the egg, the meat is so tender! The fat dripping is also high-quality and not heavy! The sauce seasoning is perfect and goes well with rice. I ordered both sauce and salt for the upper mino to enjoy the different flavors! The sauce has a fairly sweet miso flavor, so tastes may vary. The cold noodles also match my taste quite well. The noodles are chewy with a gentle sweetness like eggs! The soup broth is also exquisite. The kimchi here has a low acidity and strong umami, so adding it to the noodles is really good. The quality of the meat is really high, and even though everyone was somewhat of a drinker, it didn't cost more than 10,000 yen per person! Maybe because of the self-grilling style? Although the number of seats is not that many, the casual atmosphere and high-quality meat make it a good choice! One thing that bothered me was that the duct on the grill didn't seem to function well, so the interior was smoky. The main store was cleaner though... It seems easier to make reservations compared to the main store.

Located diagonally across from Yakiniku Horumon Kinju, Nare opened on Tanabata in 2023! I went there right away! The must-try dishes are the special raw tongue with salt, premium liver, horumon, and Wagyu yukhoe! Delicious, fresh, and a great atmosphere. I ordered a salt lemon sour drink, which was perfect for the hot summer! Not too sweet, so it goes well with grilled meat. The interior of the restaurant is small but clean, with private rooms available! Reservations are a must!
