I visited "Wine and Charcoal Grilled Skewers Ginza Ogiteki" again, which I found stylish, delicious, and good value for money during the previous state of emergency. The restaurant is located about a 1-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station Showa-dori exit and about a 3-minute walk from Ginza Station A7 exit. The budget is around ¥10,000 to ¥15,000.
The interior of the restaurant is elegant and calm, with a sophisticated atmosphere where you can dine while overlooking the outside from the window. I made a reservation through Tabelog for the "Premium Course with Pairing," which includes 7 types of alcohol pairing. I was really looking forward to it this time as my last visit was during the state of emergency.
First, the Champagne paired with the appetizer was exquisite and had a refreshing taste. The most popular dish in the restaurant, the "tsukune," was incredibly fluffy, melty, and full of umami flavor. It was truly amazing! The pairing with "Santenay 2018 Philippe Colin" was also perfect.
Each dish and wine pairing that followed was spot on, the amount of food was just right, and the level of service was very high. I felt that it was a great place to enjoy skewers and wine in a calm atmosphere. The course ranges from ¥6,800, and I highly recommend it as well. I would love to visit again! Thank you for the meal.
