After passing through the baggage inspection at Haneda Airport Terminal 2, there is a shop where you can enjoy a delicious rice burger. The prices are a bit high, but it's a good option for filling up before takeoff. It's more like comparing it to a hamburger rather than rice balls. Thank you for the meal.

On August 13, 2013 (Sunday), the first day of summer vacation - second stop! This year's summer vacation trip is to Kyushu... We headed to Haneda Airport Terminal 2 to catch a flight to Fukuoka Airport... For breakfast, we had standing soba noodles... After passing through security check, we headed towards the boarding gate... The gate was at the far end, so we walked along a long corridor... Along the way, there were several shops, and we stumbled upon a rice burger specialty store... Intrigued, we decided to stop by since we had some time to spare... The menu board outside displayed four types of rice burgers... I ordered the shrimp cutlet (tax included 590 yen), my older son ordered the grilled Norwegian mackerel (tax included 430 yen), and my younger son ordered the simmered Japanese beef (tax included 590 yen)!! There was also Kyushu black pork minced cutlet (tax included 430 yen) available... After a minute of waiting, our burgers arrived! They were not freshly grilled, but still warm to the touch... We quickly took some photos and dug in! Delicious!! The shrimp cutlet was tasty, but the rice was the star of the show... Since it's a rice burger, the rice has to be good for the whole burger to be delicious... The quality of the shops at Haneda Airport is quite high... Now, let's head to the boarding gate... Ah, that was delicious - thank you for the meal!

Rice burger specialty shop near Gate 63 at Haneda Airport Terminal 2. Had a quick breakfast here. The rice burger I had was made with domestic beef simmered in soy sauce. There is no seating area, so I sat on a waiting chair and watched the airplanes. It's made to order, so it's nice and hot. The beef sandwiched between rice buns made from domestic rice was sweet and savory, quite delicious. The price is a bit high due to airport prices, but understandable. Failed to take a good photo (._.)

Visited the "COMEL Haneda Gate 63 Store" at Haneda Airport. Located inside the gates of Haneda Airport Terminal 2 (ANA side), this shop has a distinctive white sign and bright lights. The bright interior enhances the excitement of upcoming travel. I usually try to avoid eating before traveling, but due to time constraints, I decided to grab a quick bite at the airport. The shop mainly offers rice burgers, and I chose one from the various options available. I paid with a credit card, and it seems that using an ANA card earns you miles. After paying, I waited a short while for my order to be ready. The service was quick.
- Norwegian Salted Mackerel Rice Burger (430 yen tax included)
The rice burger came in a white bag and was small in size. This makes it perfect for a light snack. The rice was fluffy, not crispy. Inside, there was a generous portion of mackerel and white leeks. The mackerel was tender and easy to eat. Due to its small size, one may need to order two if looking to satisfy hunger. It was delicious. I will definitely come back. Thank you for the meal.

Today, after finishing the JAL factory tour, I headed to Haneda Airport. It was just after noon, so the airport restaurants were packed with people and there were lines at every shop. I had some time to spare, but I didn't feel like waiting in line, so I gave up and decided to grab a quick meal after going through security at the boarding gate area. I bought the "Yonesuke's Special Temmusu" from "COMEL Haneda Gate 63 Store". I felt a bit rude not buying a burger from the rice burger shop, but oh well... So please consider this review as a review of the in-flight meal. The taste was okay, the portion size was a bit disappointing, but it couldn't be helped. Thanks for the meal.

Having an early lunch at Haneda Airport. Couldn't find any appealing bento boxes, so I decided to try a rice burger here. It reminded me of Mos Burger I had about 20 years ago. However, the taste of the rice was not good at all. It's a bit pricey, but the beer was decent. I hope they improve the quality of the rice and ingredients.

I arrived at the departure gate inside the second terminal of Haneda Airport after passing through the baggage inspection. I took a break at the card lounge and started to feel a little hungry. Before boarding, I wanted to have something light, so I came to COMEL. It seems that they serve rice burgers here. There was a line at the register, but since I wasn't eating in, I didn't have to wait long. I was a bit undecided on what to order, but both my partner and I decided on the shrimp cutlet. We also ordered tea as our drink. Since there were no chairs inside the store, let's sit on the chairs in front of the boarding gate. Other people weren't having meals, so I felt a bit awkward. I chose a seat a little away from others. When I opened the bag, I found that the shrimp cutlet was sandwiched between rice. It consists of shrimp cutlet, cabbage, tartar sauce, and thick sauce. The thick sauce was really good. It acted as a bridge between the rice and the shrimp. Although there was only one piece, it filled my stomach a bit. I also wanted to try the beef sukiyaki, but I'll save that for next time. Now that I know how much it fills me up, I can have two next time. I usually don't eat meals inside the gate, but I found a convenient store. Thank you for the meal.

[Norwegian salted mackerel rice burger] 430 yen
A light snack with slightly sticky rice and a thicker salted mackerel than expected sandwiched inside. Perfect for trying something new while at the airport instead of just buying the usual onigiri from the convenience store. Airport restaurants tend to be a bit pricey, so if you're willing to spend 1000 yen on something like soba, why not get two of these rice burgers and a drink instead? The rice burger isn't too potato-y and doesn't crumble easily, making it perfect for snacking in the waiting area or before boarding.

Arrived at the store at 7:30 on Wednesday, but unfortunately dining inside was not allowed. They said we could eat together or on the plane. I went to try the Haneda Airport limited morning menu at Nenrinya, which is like a Baumkuchen sandwich, but they only had Baumkuchen at the moment. Feeling a bit disappointed, I went to a rice burger specialty shop for the first time. It was just delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had some time to spare before my departure at Haneda Airport and I was feeling hungry, so I decided to try a rice burger. It was very warm and delicious, and I really liked the seasoning. Since I couldn't bring it into the lounge, I found a seat away from others to enjoy my meal.

I had a late-night meal on an international flight, but I was too sleepy to enjoy it. I missed my connecting domestic flight due to quarantine procedures and had some time to spare, so I decided to stop by a rice burger specialty shop. I remembered meeting the CEO of an Indonesian company that makes shrimp cutlet for Mos Burger and being impressed by their corporate philosophy. With that memory fresh in my mind, I ordered the shrimp cutlet rice burger (590 yen). My impression after eating it was that the cutlet was thick and the rice was soft, but the ingredients and bun didn't seem to go well together. I think it would be better to use traditional Japanese ingredients and make it more like a grilled rice ball.

Today I am on a business trip to Miyazaki. I arrived at the office early in the morning to prepare some documents before leaving. I didn't have time for a lunch break, so I bought a rice burger from "COMEL" at Haneda Airport before boarding the plane. I ordered the rice burger with domestic beef shigureni. Since I will be working on the plane, I will refrain from alcohol and have some cold tea instead. The rice burger is cute and has lettuce, which is nice. The sweet and savory simmered beef is quite delicious. The price of 590 yen is typical airport pricing, but it's a small size so I didn't consume too many carbs, which I appreciate. I enjoyed it during the short time before departure. Thank you for the meal. I was in a rush this morning and had breakfast alone at Haneda Airport! I wanted something quick and easy, so I tried the rice burger with minced cutlet. The amount of rice was just about the size of one onigiri. It was the perfect amount for a light snack. I highly recommend it when you're in a hurry. Cheers!

Today's lunch was at Comel Haneda 63rd Gate store, a rice burger specialty shop at Haneda Airport Terminal 2. I had the domestic beef shigure-ni for 590 yen. It was a bit difficult to eat as the meat was a bit tough. I ended up eating only the filling part. This was expected. They also have a single item menu for minced cutlet for 150 yen. It was also a bit difficult to eat, so I ended up eating them separately with chopsticks. It seems like I prefer rice balls or sandwiches for this type of food. Both the shigure-ni and minced cutlet were delicious (^-^). #EdoGourmet #EdoLunch

There was a rice burger specialty shop near the airport waiting area! Although I wasn't very hungry, I decided to try it out. It was just before lunchtime, so it was quite popular and there was a bit of a line at the register. In addition to rice burgers, they also sold miso soup and fried chicken as side dishes. I only bought the beef shigure burger. It was like a rice ball with lots of fillings and cost around 600 yen. The beef was cooked in a sweet and savory sauce, and the rice was lightly seasoned with a sweet and savory flavor. It was quite delicious.

Rice Burger is a specialty store located in the second terminal building of Haneda Airport. I stopped by looking for a light snack as I had left home without eating breakfast. The size is small but relatively reasonable in price. I ordered the domestic beef sukiyaki for 590 yen. The rice had a slightly sticky texture, but I personally prefer it more crispy. The domestic beef sukiyaki was sweet in flavor with a soft texture. The crunchy texture of the sunny lettuce was nice. The order was served in less than 5 minutes, so it's fast food.

In the crowded Haneda airport in the morning, I decided to purchase a rice burger here where the checkout lines were relatively short. I was torn between choosing ginger pork and pork cutlet, but I thought the cutlet would be easier to eat, so I went with the black pork minced cutlet. I was pleased that they made it fresh after I placed my order. When I opened it up, it looked easy to eat. The rice was much softer than I had imagined. It's different from a grilled rice ball. The sauce on the cutlet was a tangy Worcestershire sauce. I accidentally choked a bit on the first bite. After finishing it, I thought that the softer rice texture made me consider that the ginger pork might be tastier, so I decided to try that next time.

This is not an eat-in place. If you have an ANA card, you can earn points. Recommended for those who want to eat something light but delicious, the small-sized burger. The shop's recommendation was the "domestic beef simmered" burger, so I ordered that. If you buy together, the coffee latte is half price (¥150), and the miso soup is ¥140 → ¥100. "Domestic beef simmered" ¥590, "coffee" ¥150. The simmered beef is sweet like sukiyaki, and very delicious. The rice buns are seasoned just right, with a balanced flavor that is neither too strong nor too weak! It's small-sized, so it's popular with women. If you want to eat a lot, order two or more. But if you order two, it's ¥1,200. It's almost like Kuainaa. During the corona pandemic, prices for dining, ramen, coin parking, etc., are all increasing. I understand the food industry, but why parking too? It seems like taking advantage of the situation to raise prices. (It doesn't seem like the number of parking spaces at the usual places I use has decreased) Japan's unique pattern of quietly changing is still alive.

While waiting for my return flight at Haneda Airport, I had some time to grab a meal, so I headed to the lounge first. However, I found out that almost all the places to eat were closed once I passed through the baggage inspection area. So, I ended up at this rice burger shop, hoping to have at least something to eat. A rice burger is like a rice bun with fillings inside, similar to what a fast food chain used to offer. I ordered the ginger pork rice burger for 430 yen. The taste was quite good. The amount of rice was just right for someone with a slight hunger. The price was a bit on the expensive side, and if you eat two, it might be a bit too much. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

Transit at Haneda Airport for a business trip to Hokkaido. It was just past 9 o'clock while moving around the airport. Since there was a high possibility of not being able to have lunch, I decided to eat something light. I chose the black pork minced cutlet. I haven't eaten rice burgers much, but personally, I see it as an evolved version of grilled rice balls. The minced cutlet is sandwiched with shredded cabbage, making it feel like I'm eating a set meal. This is quite delicious. Next time, I would like to try the luxurious-sounding domestic beef simmered dish, which also seems delicious.
