I heard that the restaurant opens at 6:00 PM on Saturdays, but when we arrived at 5:30 PM, there was already one group of customers. The owner of the restaurant is an acquaintance of my mother-in-law, who used to work at a nearby standing sushi bar called Hinatomaru. She recently opened her own restaurant, so my mother-in-law and I decided to visit. As soon as we sat down, delicious dishes started coming out one after another. There was a salad with plenty of tuna sashimi and homemade dressing (the dressing was not too sour and very easy to eat!), yellowtail sashimi, and tuna skin, which were all served without us ordering. Each person got a huge portion of salad, and you might be able to see the other side of your stomach after eating it all. We also ordered sashimi platter, deep-fried liver cutlet, sweet potato tempura, and homemade pickled cod roe, which was incredibly delicious. We enjoyed Japanese sake throughout the meal, with me sticking to Kizakura brand. My son and husband tried various expensive and rare Japanese sake. The owner, who trained in America and other foreign countries, is proficient in English and can handle foreign customers with ease. Her daughter, who was helping out at the restaurant, is incredibly cute. Very cute. Cute. (I can't emphasize this enough) At the beginning, the owner was managing the restaurant alone, but her smooth and efficient work didn't make it seem like she was understaffed. The combination of the owner's relaxed attitude and exceptional dishes, along with the adorable daughter, made our dining experience unforgettable. We will definitely visit again! The bill for all the food and drinks we enjoyed was surprisingly reasonable.
