Visited again to get some garlic power - this time tried dishes I haven't had before. The salad was delicious, especially the homemade dressing. The garlic pasta at this garlic-focused restaurant was amazing! The pasta was topped with garlic chips and whole cloves of garlic, making it incredibly flavorful. Another great meal today.

Hello! This is Bocchi Gurume Tomochin Tabi. This time, the restaurant is quite close to my home. It's a garlic cuisine bar? Just hearing that, I wonder what kind of place it is, as there aren't many places that focus on garlic. However, after reading reviews on Tabelog and Google where multiple reviewers mentioned "everything was delicious", I started to think that this might be a good restaurant. So, on September 9th, when the typhoon turned into a tropical depression and it became a bit cooler, I finally decided to visit the garlic cuisine bar!

Garlic cuisine specialty store? Garlic is used in all dishes. They even have a garlic sour drink (^_^) There are plenty of menu options and everything was delicious. The carbonara was made with chewy fresh pasta without using cream. It's different from the usual. The interior of the store has a cute atmosphere with decorations and greenery. The owner is friendly and it was a comfortable place to be. I want to go back again!

I visited with my friends at night. It was my first time visiting, but the owner was friendly and the conversation flowed easily. As a garlic lover, everything was delicious and the mashed potatoes were irresistible. I will definitely come back soon! I even bought a bottle to take home (laughs). A restaurant I had wanted to visit. I had passed by before and saw the menu sign, which featured garlic dishes that caught my attention, but I was also intrigued by the Filipino dishes like Sisig and Halo-Halo on the menu. The owner seems to have Filipino roots. I made a reservation and visited this time. The seating is limited, so I think it's better to make a reservation. If 10 people come, I think it will be full. I once visited without a reservation and it was full. On the same day, it was available without a reservation, but it's still safer to make a reservation. It was a very cold day, so I didn't order salads or cold dishes. I ordered the Garlic Ajillo, Tripe Tomato Stew, Clam Herb Grilled, and Carbonara. All of them were delicious! They all had expected flavors, but they didn't disappoint, and they were clearly homemade. The Garlic Ajillo is super garlicky. It was my first time having an Ajillo where garlic is the main ingredient. I ordered this to boost my energy. Delicious. The Tripe Tomato Stew had a rich tomato flavor. The Clam Herb Grilled was also delicious. The Carbonara is the type that doesn't use cream, milk, or butter. It's the authentic Roman Carbonara. I think they make the sauce mainly with cheese and eggs, but they also add plenty of garlic paste. The pasta is made with fresh pasta and is chewy. The best. Two people had these dishes, each with a glass of wine, for 5,200 yen. Great value for money. The owner runs the restaurant alone, but operates calmly and has a very good attitude. I want to come back again. The other menu items are also very appealing. The Garlic Rice must be delicious for sure. The only disappointment was that the Sisig was sold out. I want to go to the Philippines again...

On a weekend around 1 pm, I went to a restaurant where social distancing was well maintained with limited seating. Before going, make sure to check for available seats. I ordered items such as Garlicky Caesar Salad, French Fry Potato, Garlic and Anchovy Pizza, and Hidden Bolognese. The Garlicky Caesar Salad had a good flavor and texture with garlic chips, fried onion, and crispy bacon. The French Fry Potato came with a choice of garlic salt, seaweed salt, or Asian spice flavors. The Garlic and Anchovy Pizza was small with a thin crust and a strong garlic and anchovy taste. The Hidden Bolognese had a generous amount of ground meat, but the flavor was a bit bland with a slight meaty taste. The pasta was chewy and had a good texture. Overall, the restaurant owner was friendly and attentive, and I would like to try other menu items in the future.
