This time, I visited a restaurant located on the 3rd floor of the commercial facility building LE SNGNE, right near Fuchu Station on the Keio Line. The restaurant is called Torimitsukuni, which seems to be derived from Mito Mitsukuni. The location is great, and when I entered the restaurant, I happened to get a seat by the window, offering a nice view of the station from the 3rd floor. The restaurant is spacious with a variety of seating options including large tables, sunken kotatsu seats, sofa seats, and counter seats, making it very convenient. Since we only reserved seats, we started with a toast with beer. As the name suggests, the restaurant offers a wide variety of chicken dishes. You can order using a touch panel, and the menu has many items with photos, making it easy to choose. I felt that touch panels are becoming common nowadays. We decided to start with the Mitsukuni salad, which was delicious and left a good impression during ordering. The Mitsukuni salad here was by far the most delicious salad I've had this month, with the dressing and egg paste doing a great job, making me consider ordering a second plate. The quality of the food was top-notch. We couldn't miss out on the grilled chicken, so we ordered four parts - hatsuochi, furisode, achilles, momokaburi - and tsukune with egg. The skin was nicely grilled, and the grilling technique or the manual seemed to be well done, especially the furisode was delicious. Each skewer was priced at around ¥200-¥270, which was reasonable for the quality. We also enjoyed other items like grilled dried squid and fried sand liver, which were great snacks with just the right amount of flavor to go well with drinks. We switched from beer to bottled beer and then to sake, and we were both impressed with the choices. My friend found something interesting on the menu later on - raisin butter - which turned out to be delicious and highly recommended. In the end, we spent around ¥8500 for two people, but we were satisfied with both the quality and the price. If you're considering having dinner or a drinking party in Fuchu, I highly recommend this place. It's great for gatherings with friends or company parties, with a wide selection of course meals. It felt as comfortable as the Hanshin Tigers hitting a home run with the 8th batter, the pitcher bunting in the 9th, and the leadoff hitter near home base hitting a home run to score runs this year, so be sure to visit at least once. Thank you for the delicious meal! I will visit again!
