(Revisited in July 2015) I revisited this restaurant for a party of 10 people. The second-floor sunken kotatsu seating area here is really cozy. The food was delicious, especially the "Creamy Salad with Ginger" and the "Spare Rib-style Soft Bone Soki." However, the drink service was a bit slow, following the Okinawan time as usual. But once the large party next to us left, the service suddenly picked up, so it seems to depend on the busyness at the time. Thank you for the meal.
Everyone gathered for a farewell party to celebrate our hard work and unwind. After discovering the change in the restaurant while killing time between "Kemuri" and "Chuubei," I found out it was now a great Okinawan restaurant related to "Takoman." I organized a special event here for 18 people, as I didn't want to miss out on such a trusted and valuable place. The information online was scarce, so I called to confirm the all-you-can-drink option and went ahead with the set menu for 2,580 yen and all-you-can-drink for 1,200 yen, totaling 3,780 yen per person.
For a work gathering, it's important to mingle with different people, so we focused on light dishes. The appetizer platter, salad, potato, and fried chicken, goya champuru, and taco rice were all delicious. The potato dish had a unique twist with onion rings, and the fried chicken was flavorful and hearty. The taco rice was a standout, true to authentic Okinawan cuisine. The restaurant's interior, staff uniforms, and background music all had a consistent Okinawan theme. While this has become more common recently, the welcome card and chinju-ko cookies were a nice touch and well-received by everyone. Some guests mentioned that the service was a bit slow, but the staff kindly offered to wrap up the remaining food for us, which was a thoughtful gesture.
With a variety of seating options, including counter, table, and sunken kotatsu seating on the second floor, the restaurant was convenient for our group of various sizes. We had members from the Itsukaichi Line, Ome Line, and even someone like me from the Tachikawa area. The availability of a bus to Nihon-dacho from Fussa Station makes it a convenient location. It's great to see such quality restaurants popping up in the area. Thank you for the meal.
