-Information- A Western-style restaurant with a hidden menu item called "Omurita Laco" that has been gaining attention. Featured in the January 2021 issue of "Tokyo Calendar." Their specialty "Luxurious Basque Cheesecake" is limited to 20 pieces per day. The grand opening of the Nakameguro store was on November 22, 2020. The restaurant has accounts on Instagram and LINE. They offer a "Sharing Plate for Two" for 1800 yen (excluding tax) and the luxurious Basque Cheesecake for 600 yen (excluding tax). -Memo- I planned to go on a Basque Cheesecake tour with a friend and visited this restaurant as the first stop. The Basque Cheesecake here has a good reputation and I was curious to try it. I made a reservation by phone for 11:30 on a weekday, but it seems that reservations are not necessary for weekday lunches. The restaurant was never full during my visit. I was looking forward to trying the Basque Cheesecake, limited to 20 pieces per day. Although Omurita Laco is a popular hidden menu item at Kogatana, I decided to try something different this time. I ordered the "Sharing Plate for Two," which I was drawn to after seeing it on the restaurant's Instagram. It's not listed on the menu, so I wonder if it's also a hidden menu item. The plate includes Om Hayashi, Ebi Fry, and Crab Cream Croquette, with a generous salad in the background. It's a great deal at 1800 yen. When it arrived, it was so impressive that I couldn't help but cheer. The runny egg and huge shrimp got me really excited. The Om Hayashi had a sweet and gentle taste that seemed like something kids would enjoy. It went really well with the runny egg, and I couldn't stop eating the rice. The Ebi Fry featured large, whole shrimp with a firm texture and I enjoyed it with tartar sauce. The tail and head were so crispy that I ended up eating them all like snacks (laughs). My favorite was definitely the Crab Cream Croquette!! The crunchy coating had a satisfying texture, and the creamy crab filling tasted luxurious. It was a classic flavor but incredibly delicious. I would recommend this over the Omurita Laco!! The "Luxurious Basque Cheesecake" is limited to 20 pieces per day and can also be taken out by the piece. It's so delicious that even if you're full, you should take it home to enjoy. I, of course, had it in the restaurant. It's quite a large piece, so the couple next to me shared it, but I recommend ordering one piece per person here (not because I'm jealous of couples or anything!). Changing the flavor with salt and maple syrup while eating is recommended! Firstly, try it as it is. The texture and taste are similar to a pudding, with a gentle sweetness and an elegant feel. Next, try it with salt. The flavor suddenly tightens up, and the rich sweetness becomes even more intense. The intense rich sweetness is addictive!! The combination with salt is the best♪ Lastly, try it with maple syrup. Drizzle generously, and it transforms into a completely different dessert. It's interesting how the texture changes, with a smooth and creamy texture that feels amazing. This is a flavor I want to come back for!! When leaving, they kindly thanked me for coming in the cold weather. The chefs also smiled and saw me off, making it a truly wonderful time. I've found another favorite spot to visit~

This afternoon, I received a message saying "I don't need dinner". Oh!! Now, where should I go? I'm in the mood for Western food. After considering a few options, I decided to visit this place. Even though I was dining alone, I had called ahead to make a reservation. During the call, there was a nice exchange and the staff was very considerate throughout my visit. When I arrived, all the non-reserved seats were filled with local families. It made me wonder if this was another aspect of social disparity - being able to dine at such a place from a young age. It seemed like a casual Western restaurant for the locals in the neighborhood. This place specializes in Western cuisine but also has an oyster bar. The deciding factor for me was the oysters. I really wanted to eat oysters, but I also couldn't resist the Western menu. Being able to order just one was very convenient. I started with the Hiroshima oysters for 500 yen, served with shallots and sherry vinegar. It was accompanied by lemon and shallots, and it was a sophisticated way to enjoy fresh oysters. I paired it with a glass of white wine, Picpoul, for 850 yen. It was a perfect match for the oysters - refreshing on its own but sweet and deep when paired with the oysters. Next, I had the Grilled Oysters with Herb Butter for 600 yen. They were served piping hot and disappeared in no time. It was so fleeting... I then ordered the Western Plate for 2,750 yen, minus 100 yen for no fried egg. The main dish was the most popular item on the menu, a combination of hamburger steak and shrimp fry. I couldn't eat raw egg, so I requested it without the fried egg. The plate featured a generous portion of homemade tartar sauce with a head-on shrimp fry. The crispy shrimp fry was delightful, especially when squeezed with lemon and dipped in tartar sauce. It felt luxurious to cut and enjoy the shrimp fry with a knife and fork. The plate also came with a generous salad and potato salad hidden under the shrimp fry. After enjoying the shrimp fry with white wine, I dug into the 180g hamburger steak. It was made with coarsely ground meat and was juicy and flavorful. I poured the additional red wine for 850 yen, a Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend, over the hamburger steak. The Cabernet had a gentle acidity that complemented the hamburger steak well. The rich demi-glace sauce was also a perfect match. I had also ordered rice for 250 yen and indulged in the hamburger steak and rice combination. It was a satisfying Western dining and drinking experience. As I left, the chef greeted me and invited me to come again. The attentive service and delicious food made the whole experience wonderful. Although the restaurant is a bit far from the station, the tempting menu items are worth the visit. I will definitely be back!

Access: 5 minutes walk from Hiroo Station on the Hibiya Line. Although it was marked as full on Tabelog (even if it is marked as full online, please contact the store directly), I decided to try calling anyway... and I was able to make a reservation! When I left home, it was drizzling, so I went back to get an umbrella. A few minutes later, it started pouring! Arrived at 4:50 pm, there was one group waiting. Ordered the Dream Plate for 2,700 yen, which included omurice, hamburger, and head-on shrimp fry. The hamburger was juicy and packed with meat, and it went well with the demiglace sauce. The shrimp fry was plump and delicious. The omurice had a runny egg and was tasty. Also tried the Hiroshima-grown raw oyster for 800 yen per piece and the grilled oyster for 900 yen per piece. Both were fresh and delicious. The raw oyster came with a shallot and sherry vinegar sauce that was enhanced by a squeeze of lemon. The grilled oyster with soy sauce and butter was even more delicious. Finished with the Ultimate Basque Cheesecake, limited to 20 pieces per day, which was rich, creamy, and delicious. The food was great, but there were noticeable service mistakes, which was disappointing. Thank you for the meal.

It had been a while since I had a craving for Western food, so I decided to visit this restaurant. I noticed a new addition to the menu, Meat Sauce Spaghetti. They also had Pasta with Cod Roe, Napolitan, and Meat Sauce, but I found that I liked the Napolitan the best. I also tried the summer limited Vichyssoise. My companion ordered the Mixed Plate. The Vichyssoise was delicious.

I visited a restaurant that I had always wanted to go to after seeing the juicy hamburgers overflowing on a certain influencer's Instagram. I went on a Sunday afternoon and was able to get in with almost no wait. I ordered the Dream Plate, which is exclusive to the Hiroo main store. It was my first time there, so I got a bit greedy and wanted to try a variety of things, but the hamburger was smaller than I expected, haha. It was different from what I had seen on Instagram, but it was still a very tasty hamburger. The shrimp fry still had its head on, and the miso part was delicious. The omurice was just average, but having a flag stuck in it made me happy even as an adult. Overall, I think I was able to enjoy high-quality Western-style food.

Recently discovered a favorite Western-style restaurant. Whenever I feel like having some Western food, this place always comes to mind first. On this particular day when I went with a friend, we tried the unexpected delicious "Oyster Fry" and my favorite "Chicken Ginger." I asked for pork instead of chicken, but the combination of chicken fat and ginger was amazing. The "Dream Plate at a Western-style restaurant" is a must-try. It includes hamburger, deep-fried prawns, and omelet rice! It's a dinner exclusive and truly a dream come true. For those who are undecided, I highly recommend this dish! Lately, whenever I can't decide where to eat, I make sure to go to Azabu Kogai-ken.

I visited this restaurant with my family for the first time, wanting to eat delicious Western food. We didn't have a reservation for weekend lunch, so we arrived at 11:00 with determination to be the first in line. It was indeed a popular place, with 8 groups already lined up at opening time. The restaurant had a calm brick exterior, a clean interior, and an antique atmosphere with charming tables and chairs. The staff were friendly and polite, making us feel good even before we started eating! We ordered the Western plate with shrimp fry and hamburger, the greedy plate with shrimp fry, crab cream croquette, and omurice, and ketchup omurice. Everything we ate was top-notch, but the crab cream croquette was exceptional. When you break through the crispy coating, you find a rich collaboration of crab and bechamel sauce inside. The regular customer next to us ordered it as a single item. It's definitely worth trying. The Basque cheesecake for dessert and the old-fashioned firm custard pudding were also delightful treats. The kids were also very satisfied, saying it was the best meal they've had. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Located 8-10 minutes on foot from Hiroo Station, Azabu Kenkou Hiroo Honten is a Western-style restaurant with a high-class atmosphere. It has been selected as one of the top 100 Western-style restaurants in 2023. The service is impeccable, and the overall ambiance of the restaurant is very pleasant. It is suitable for solo dining as well as for gatherings such as girls' nights out or dates. I tried the corn soup and the Dream Plate, which consists of omurice, hamburger, jumbo shrimp fry, and salad all on one plate. The corn soup was smooth and rich in flavor, with a hint of buttery goodness. The Dream Plate was a delight for adults, with a juicy hamburger, crispy shrimp fry, and classic half-cooked omurice. The quality of the dishes was top-notch, and it's no wonder this restaurant is so popular. Reservations can be made online or by phone, and the availability is surprisingly good. I highly recommend paying a visit to this restaurant. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I have been into Western food lately and was having trouble deciding where to go, but I decided to act quickly this time. I arrived around 11:30 and the place was almost full, but luckily there was a table for two available. I ordered the recommended lunch menu exclusive to the Nishi-Azabu branch. It included my favorite omurice, hamburger steak, and shrimp fry. The hamburger steak was thick and juicy, packed with a rich and savory flavor. The omurice and head-on shrimp were also delicious.

I made a reservation for a seat on a regular night before visiting. Last time I called, the restaurant was fully booked, so it is quite popular. When I arrived at the opening time, there was only one group of customers ahead of me, and the large table was already reserved. I ordered the Omu-rice with demi-glace sauce for 1,300 yen and the Basque cheesecake for 650 yen. After waiting for a while, a staff member asked me if I would like to move to another seat, and I agreed. I appreciated the hospitality and thought the service was excellent. The Omu-rice was delicious with a basic flavor, and the demi-glace sauce had a strong aroma of spices. The Basque cheesecake was moist, and you could enjoy different flavors by adding salt and maple syrup on the plate. I personally felt that the cheese flavor stood out more with the salt. A large table that came in later was a group from China, and the restaurant was full of foreigners, except for me. It was indeed a popular restaurant among international visitors.

I made a reservation about 2 weeks ago and went. Unfortunately, due to the typhoon, I couldn't eat fresh oysters, but I was able to order fried oysters which were delicious. They were juicy and flavorful. I really wanted to try the fresh oysters too! I will definitely go back for a rematch next time.

Having lunch with my child. Visited around 11:40 on a holiday. As expected, it was full. After waiting outside for a while, they said, "We can seat you at the counter." It was hot outside, so that was helpful. I ordered the beef cutlet. My child had the kids' set. Oh, it was very delicious. The meat was so thick, it felt like eating a steak. The staff's service was also wonderful. If you're in the area and can't decide where to go, you can't go wrong with this restaurant. It was delicious, thank you very much ♡

This is the main store of a shop with several branches in Tokyo. I visited for the first time to try their secret menu item, the Omurice with cod roe. - Corn Soup: Creamy and rich, makes you crave for bread. It's thick and might be better to share. - Fresh Oysters: Delicious when paired with vinegar dressing, enhances the creaminess of the oysters. - Omurice with Cod Roe: The secret menu item I came for! The cod roe pasta topped with omelette is a unique combination. The cod roe pasta is creamy with a strong cream flavor. The omelette is also rich and creamy, so it might be a bit heavy on the stomach. I wished there were some refreshing elements like shiso to balance it out. - Basque Cheesecake: Melts in your mouth and has an amazing taste. You can also try it with maple syrup and salt for a different flavor. It was even better than the one I bought at a food fair before. A must-order! The restaurant has only table seating, so it's recommended to make a reservation depending on the time of day. There were many Uber Eats and takeout orders. Personally, I found the flavors a bit heavy and it gave me heartburn. It might be better for those with a strong stomach. Recommended for a quick and casual dining experience. Items I tried on this day and my favorites: - Corn Soup: 600 yen - Fresh Oysters: 800 yen - Omurice with Cod Roe: 1,800 yen - Basque Cheesecake: 650 yen [Food Rating]: 3.71 [Business Hours]: 11:30-14:30 (last order), 17:30-21:00 (last order) [Closed]: Irregular holidays [Reservation]: Not required [Budget]: From 1,500 yen [Address]: 1F, Kyoritsu Kosan Nishi-Azabu Building, 4-6-5 Nishi-Azabu, Minato-ku, Tokyo Thank you for reading until the end. I visited for the first time. I made a reservation since it was lunch time, and by 12 o'clock it was already full, so it seems best to make a reservation. I had pasta, and it had a nice balance of tomato and acidity, with a fluffy egg on top, which was very delicious. The person sitting next to me had crab cream croquettes, which were very rich with lots of crab, and the sauce on top had an exquisite taste. I will challenge that next time.

The omurice is delicious, but what really stands out is the crab cream croquette. It melts in your mouth and the flavor spreads. It's a moment of bliss. The regular "Western-style" dishes have reached an incredible level. I want to use this word again. Blissful!

Bib Gourmand shines with its popular Western-style restaurant that uses domestically produced beef and pork to create juicy homemade hamburgers and omurice. Operated by Y Create/Y Spirits, led by Yusuke Moriyama, the company runs a total of five restaurant brands (Azabu Kogai-ken, Nishi-Azabu Kadoya, Nishi-Azabu Kadoya Supervised Haikara Sakaba, GRANDTABLE, Moriyama Coffee Mishuku Roastery) with a total of nine directly managed stores. The Azabu Kogai-ken Hiroo Main Store opened in May 2015. The restaurant is located about 140m northeast of Hiroo Gakuen Junior High School, turning right and on the left-hand side. The nearest station is a 4-minute walk from Hiroo Station. The business hours are lunch from 11:30 am to 3 pm (last order at 2:30 pm) and dinner from 5:30 pm to 10 pm (last order at 9 pm), closed on Wednesdays. There are 15 seats available with table and counter seats. Reservations can be made online through Gurunavi or Tabelog, and also by phone. (Reservations not available during lunch on weekends and holidays). Popular menu items include the creamy omelette hayashi, and the Basque cheesecake. The dishes ordered on this day were the Western-style Dream Plate, Omuritano, and the Ultimate Basque Cheesecake. The interior of the restaurant exudes a classical antique atmosphere, creating a relaxed and spacious environment. The recommended dish is the homemade hamburger made with domestically produced beef and pork, while the Western-style Dream Plate, exclusive to the Hiroo store, offers a combination of hamburger, omurice, and a large shrimp fry. The Basque cheesecake, limited to 10 servings per day, is a popular menu item. Originating from the Basque region of Spain, the "Basque cream cheese cake" is made by baking it in a high-temperature oven to create a burnt surface. The rich and creamy cheese aroma of this dish is an addictive delicacy that you must try once you taste it. [Order] - Western-style Dream Plate 2,200 yen - Omuritano 1,500 yen - Ultimate Basque Cheesecake 650 yen

I wanted to eat the omelette rice at a traditional Western-style restaurant, so I went there. This place is known for its delicious hamburgers and shrimp fry, and I couldn't decide... but then I saw something called "Dream Plate"! It contains omelette rice, hamburger, and head-on shrimp fry. This seems to be only available at the Hiroo branch, so please take note. The hamburger is a classic. It's served with demi-glace sauce, and it's just amazing. The omelette rice made me exclaim unintentionally. The surface is smooth, but the inside is gooey and creamy. It reminded me of the first time I had dandelion omelette rice at the Regalo Royal Hotel in Hiroshima when I was in junior high school. Oh, it's so good. What really hit the spot was the ketchup. It was different from usual, I wonder if it's their original recipe. Luckily, I didn't have to wait long to be seated, but customers kept coming in one after another.

It's dark under the lamp, and I didn't know there was such a wonderful Western-style restaurant nearby! It's a Western-style restaurant that is close to the lesson pro I go to. After practicing golf, I felt hungry so I decided to go have a hearty hamburger. The last order is until 2:30 pm, so it's slightly later than other restaurants which made me happy. When I arrived a little before 2:00 pm, there were 2 groups waiting, so I waited a bit, but no one came after me, so I thought I might be able to get in without waiting after 2:00 pm. Well, the restaurant closes at 3:00 pm, so this time slot might be good for those who want to eat quickly. The interior is very elegant, giving off a cozy feel of a small French bistro from the past. The clientele consists of elegant ladies and well-behaved children being led by their girlfriends, which was heartwarming. The chef and the service staff are all dressed in white chef's jackets, giving off a vibe of a Japanese restaurant. It's a popular restaurant, so it must have been busy during peak hours, but everyone had a smile and it felt very pleasant. I ordered a Western-style plate with hamburger, shrimp fry, and fried egg for 2650 yen. On weekdays, the lunch special came with soup and rice as a service, but the menu content is the same for lunch and dinner, so I was happy that I could enjoy the same dishes for both lunch and dinner. Even though the preparations were done in advance, each dish was cooked with care, so the timing of serving was a bit slower compared to other restaurants during lunchtime, but I was actually happy because it was of high quality. (I get scared when food comes out too quickly like "Is it microwaved?!" fear) I was surprised by the very thick hamburger and large shrimp! The salad, potato salad, lemon, and tartar sauce were provided, and the original demi-glace sauce matched well with the salad, the potato salad mixed with the sauce matched the shrimp fry, and there wasn't much need for the original tartar sauce! (You can still use tartar sauce, but personally, I don't consume too much mayo-based items... but the tartar sauce was also well-made) The feeling when cutting the hamburger with a knife and the egg juices. The feeling when cutting the shrimp fry and it's crunchy. It's great. I would like to try other menu items as well.

I ordered the Dream Plate (¥2,700) exclusive to the Hiroo branch, which includes omurice, hamburger, and shrimp fry. The portions were generous and all dishes were delicious. The staff were friendly and kid-friendly. I would definitely like to visit this restaurant again.

I made a reservation for 6:00 pm on a weekday through Tabelog. I ordered the Omurice (¥1,500), Dream Plate (¥2,700), Grilled Oysters with Butter Soy Sauce (¥900), and Crab Cream Croquette (¥2,000) at this famous Western cuisine restaurant. Although it was not selected last year, it made it on the list this year. Since it was my first visit, I started with the Dream Plate, which came with Omurice, Hamburger, Ebi Fry, and Salad. The hamburger had a unique fluffy texture and a soft flavor, truly living up to its popularity. The Crab Cream Croquette was a bit pricey at 2,000 yen for 2 pieces, but it was filled with plenty of crab meat, so it was worth it. The Omurice with Napolitan sauce on top, called Omuritano, was a unique dish only found here. The Napolitan pasta had thin noodles cooked perfectly al dente, making it delicious on its own. The egg on top felt like a bonus, but it's definitely a dish worth trying. I believe everything on the menu at this restaurant is delicious, so I would love to try more dishes next time.

Dream Plate is a restaurant in Hiroo that offers a plate with a 150g hamburger, which is slightly smaller than the standard Western dish plate. The shrimp fry is the same as the regular menu. If you choose the omurice, it feels like a better deal. The interior of the restaurant is surprisingly small but clean and bright with a Western-style atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and even offer water to those waiting outside. The food has a very traditional taste, and you can't help but wonder how they achieve such a beautiful presentation. The hamburger is lean with a hint of pink in the middle. The omurice has a creamy egg and a balanced tomato ketchup flavor. The shrimp fry is large but the edible part is surprisingly small. The prices are reasonable for the classic Western food and the ambiance is excellent.
