As this was a stopover on the way to my destination, I decided to have lunch here. This time, the meat was the Yari part of Saga beef. I looked up what Yari was later, and it turns out it's a rare cut. It had a bit of a chewy texture, as Yari is a tough part. There were slightly more slices of meat this time (probably cut according to the part), and it was delicious, but I prefer the tender meat from last time over the chewy meat. (This is just my personal preference.) It's amazing value for money to be able to eat a rare cut at a reasonable price, so I will definitely visit again. ☺️

This is a steak restaurant located a 2-3 minute walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station, along the Esplanade Akasaka Street. The atmosphere seemed a bit intimidating, but I finally decided to give it a try today. The interior is stylish with a black color scheme, featuring a large 12-seat counter and various table and private room options. I ordered the A5 Wagyu beef steak set for lunch, which came with salad, rice, miso soup, and dessert. The salad had a slightly bitter arugula with powdered cheese, and the A5 Wagyu beef was cut and cooked in front of me on the counter grill. The steak was tender and delicious, served with mustard, rock salt, pepper, and wasabi. The sauces were all tasty, and the meal ended with black honey ice cream. Although the 100g portion of meat was a bit small, the quality for the price was good. (You can increase the meat portion by 50g for an additional 800 yen.)

It's like a hidden room, with private rooms. It's great that there's no private room charge in Akasaka. Before you know it, complicated conversations start flowing. The steak has a crispy outer layer with a slight chewiness, and the inside is tender meat with a good amount of fat. The contrast is irresistible. It was my first time trying sansho pepper seeds on steak, and it really brings out the deliciousness of the meat. The drinks were more reasonably priced than I expected, which made me even happier! Lunch wine (680 yen tax included), lunch Ebisu beer (680 yen tax included), lunch soft drink (380 yen tax included).

The atmosphere inside the shop is stylish, and on the day of our visit, we had the counter seats all to ourselves, which made us feel a bit anxious at first. However, the chef, who specialized in teppanyaki, was very kind and skillful in his work. Each dish was prepared with care and was delicious, leaving us very satisfied. The highball drinks on the all-you-can-drink menu were made with Dewar's 12-year-old whiskey, and served in lovely glasses that enhanced the taste. The rhythm of the meal and drinks was perfect, leading up to a satisfying dessert at the end.

I used it for a meal with a customer. I was led to a room like a secret base in the back, and the atmosphere is excellent. The food is as stylish as the photos! I forgot to take a picture of the steak at the end ^^; Since it's a private room, you don't get the full teppanyaki experience, so I think it's best to visit with a small group like a couple to fully enjoy this restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

I had lunch at Akasaka Mitsuke. At "Akasaka Bakunosu," if you sit at the counter, they will perform a food theater right in front of you. The flambé with flames rising on the iron plate is a must-see. I have visited a few times for dinner, but this was my first time for lunch. I had the A5 Wagyu steak lunch set. The color of the Wagyu beef peeking out from the cut satisfies both the visual and taste senses. The surface is crispy, and the inside is juicy. It's irresistible. The set includes appetizers, rice, red miso soup, and dessert. Originally located in Chikura, Minamiboso, Chiba Prefecture, the first "Bakunosu" shop has become a paradise for food lovers. They have finally expanded to Tokyo. I will visit again when the time is right.

【Akasaka-mitsuke Lunch Restaurant Feature】Part 5 BAKNOS Akasaka
Located just a 1-2 minute walk from Akasaka-mitsuke Station, this newly opened teppanyaki restaurant on Espalande Akasaka Street in front of Natural Lawson. They recently started offering lunch, so we decided to check it out. They offer three lunch courses, and since there were three of us, we decided to order different courses to share.
- A5 Wagyu Steak Lunch Set 1980 yen
- Cut Steak Lunch Set 1580 yen
- Beef Stew Lunch Set 1280 yen (all prices include tax)
Each set comes with a stylish salad, and you can choose between rice or bread. The steak dishes also come with red miso soup. The beef stew is slowly simmered for over a week in a large pot, resulting in a rich flavor with a refined acidity. The steak is A5 Wagyu, with a marbling score of 9 or higher, making it top-notch. It's hard to believe they're making any profit with such quality. They had soft drinks and alcohol available, but unfortunately no coffee, so we requested they consider adding it.
Good job, Manager Takiguchi. Thank you for the delicious meal. We'll definitely be back.

I have visited the southern Boso region before, and I recently visited a branch in Akasaka with my family. The dishes were made with great attention to detail, using high-quality ingredients. We enjoyed the course menu so much that we lost track of time. The restaurant pays attention to the small details, even in the choice of plates and dishes. It is conveniently located near the station, and they have private rooms available, making it suitable for business entertainment as well.

I used a private room for a meal, and it was great to be able to talk comfortably. The food was also excellent. I thought it was a very good restaurant. Highly recommended for business meals or slightly more formal dates!!

The resort hot spring inn "Betty Yumezen" in Minamiboso has opened a theater-style teppanyaki specialty restaurant called "Bakunos" in Akasaka, in front of Natural Lawson. The restaurant offers a theatrical dining experience where you can watch the meat being cooked right in front of you. The owner hosted a pre-opening event for the restaurant, which coincided with the author's birthday celebration. The meaning of the name "Bakunos" was a topic of discussion, with no one able to figure it out until it was revealed to mean "abalone nest". The restaurant was fully booked with 12 counter seats, table seating, and private rooms. The author requested a special course with 10 dishes, including abalone dishes and various meat and fish dishes cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was lively and the birthday cake provided was a nice touch, making it a fun and enjoyable experience.
