This area is really great in terms of cost performance! The owner chef is very friendly and has a strong service spirit. The baguettes and desserts are homemade, and the dishes are all generous in portion. They are flexible and can accommodate any occasion.

There is a little-known Italian restaurant called Rick in Azabu-Juban that has been around for over 10 years. Their carbonara is incredibly delicious! Today, I had the whitefish roe with karasumi, which was amazingly tasty. We also had dried tomato caprese, oyster bacon-wrapped with caviar, white asparagus and prosciutto with gorgonzola sauce, roasted pork with truffle and vegetables, and carbonara with artichoke. We enjoyed plenty of wine and the bill came to around 15,000 yen. It's a great place for Italian food lovers! #Italian #Azabu-Juban #Carbonara #Delicious #Sushi #SushiLovers #Rick #Gourmet #Wine #Foodie

This teppanyaki restaurant located in the Asakusa Shopping Street is a hidden gem that even locals might have trouble finding. It has a stylish atmosphere with a counter kitchen. However, smoking is allowed at the counter, so non-smokers should be cautious. The pasta was delicious.

There is a wonderful Italian restaurant in Azabu-Juban called "Altegiano Rick" that I was taken to. With only 16 seats, this Italian restaurant opened in 2015 and is located on the 4th floor of a building in the Azabu-Juban shopping district. The atmosphere is very private, and you can enjoy your meal while chatting with the chef. We started with a toast with sparkling wine and discussed the dishes with the chef. The glass case in front of the counter is filled with seasonal ingredients. We ordered firefly squid as the first appetizer, followed by a beautifully cooked galantine with spring vegetables. The octopus cooked with tomatoes was next, and it paired perfectly with white wine. We then enjoyed a colorful pasta dish with plenty of karasumi and sakura shrimp. The restaurant has a stylish yet cozy atmosphere, making it a great place to relax. I will definitely visit again next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

A new Italian restaurant that opened in October 2015. The cozy interior with mainly counter seats has a good atmosphere, and the prices are reasonable, making it a hidden gem in Azabu-Juban. The menu consists of chef's choice courses, and you can also choose from a selection of à la carte dishes. I tried the signature foie gras chawanmushi, which was quite delicious. However, the disappointing part was the extremely slow service for drinks. Both the wine ordered with the meal and the coffee ordered with dessert arrived after we had finished eating. I hope they can improve on this aspect.

This restaurant was featured in Tokyo Calendar as one of the "Top 8 New Restaurants in Azabu-Juban". I visited the restaurant with some anticipation as there were very few online reviews. The counter seating allows smoking, so non-smokers may want to request a table when making a reservation. I started with a toast with bubbly, poured generously for 1,200 yen. The wine list is not available, instead, you choose from the cellar selection. The appetizer platter included fresh ingredients like firefly squid, caprese, and flavorful prosciutto. The marinated large oysters had a nice garlic kick, while the bonito was thick and satisfying. The bread was also quite delicious. I chose the foie gras chawanmushi as my specialty dish, but it lacked the traditional Japanese chawanmushi flavor. My companion's white asparagus with grilled ham and gorgonzola sauce looked amazing. For the main course, we had a combination of Oyama chicken and Iberico pork, both of which were delicious. The pasta for the Amatriciana was slightly overcooked for my taste. The affogato lacked the richness I usually enjoy. The espresso, however, was rich and satisfying. The owner was friendly and the regular customers seemed loyal. Overall, I felt the restaurant was a bit undecided in its concept. I would love to see more regional dishes and a focus on Italian wines, or perhaps a more affordable pricing strategy.

Located on the 4th floor of a building in front of Azabu-Juban's Mamezou shopping street, Tipplers Arms is a beer bar. It was featured as one of the top new restaurants in Azabu-Juban by Tokyo Calendar. The atmosphere is more upscale than a bistro but not quite high-end Italian, making it very user-friendly. The restaurant mainly offers omakase style courses, but they are flexible with pasta portions. They have three omakase courses available, with the cheapest one including appetizers, bread, main dish, pasta, and dessert for 3,980 yen. The wine selection is reasonably priced and extensive. The owner is friendly and engaging, making for an enjoyable dining experience. They also have a counter where solo diners can have a good time. This restaurant is a rare find in Azabu-Juban, offering delicious food at reasonable prices. I hope this excellent restaurant continues to thrive. Grazie! I have used this place for ladies' lunch with colleagues a few times because they had lunchtime service only on Wednesdays. They offer a variety of vegetables, deli options, pasta, soup, and dessert with generous portions and great value. The vegetables are delicious, and the homemade desserts are light and easy to eat even when you're full. They have moved locations, so I am not sure if they still offer lunch service. I would like to try dining there in the evening as well.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice, but the food is mediocre. It lacks delicacy and the taste is disappointing. The house wine is also unknown and there was no explanation. It's a shame.

A healthy and delicious Italian cuisine served by a master of Kansai dialect.
