Ichiran Ikebukuro store @ichiran_jp Ramen. It's really great that they are open 24 hours. Although it's a bit pricey for what you get, receiving it as a gift is even more exciting than Starbucks. I visited late at night. Despite the late hour, there were 10 groups waiting in line. The wait time was less than 5 minutes. It felt like a sin to be out so late. There was water on the table, which was nice to have. The soup had no off-flavors, and it seemed like they took care to remove any impurities when simmering it.

Ramen with extra chashu and wood ear mushrooms. I went to Ichiran because the expiration date of the LINE gift I received for an extra serving of noodles was coming up soon. It's been years since I last visited Ichiran. The shop in Ikebukuro that I used to frequent. It was a weekday at 11:30 and there were 7 people in line, but it's Ichiran, so the turnover is fast and I was seated in about 10 minutes. More than half of the customers were inbound tourists, with Asian customers on both sides. The ramen had firm noodles, strong flavor, rich broth, with the secret sauce tripled, topped with green onions, extra chashu, and wood ear mushrooms. It was the familiar taste of Ichiran, with a simple and unassuming tonkotsu soup.

I visited around 5 o'clock on Sunday evening and there was a line outside the store. I waited for about 30 minutes before being seated. The richness, thickness, and garlic were average, and I ordered with green onions, medium spiciness, and firm noodles. It was delicious, but I thought it could be a little richer, so next time I plan to order a richer flavor.

A ramen shop located in the drinking district of Ikebukuro East Exit. The famous chain restaurant "Ichiran" needs no introduction. Why do we always crave it as the perfect way to end a night of drinking? I ordered the "Ramen" with a birthday coupon. You fill out your preferences at your seat. I always go for rich flavor, medium thickness, with green onions, char siu, 10 times the secret red sauce, and regular noodle firmness. The bowl arrived shortly. Although you can't see the employees' faces, their deep bows are always impressive. The soup is a reliable mild tonkotsu broth. Nothing more, nothing less. A comforting deliciousness. With the spiciness at 10 times, the secret red sauce dissolves into the soup turning it bright red and adding a nice kick. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles. Another safe and delicious choice. Instead of getting an extra serving, I prefer to order rice and a half-boiled salted egg, pour the spicy tonkotsu soup over it, and enjoy it like a porridge. It's a bit pricey and often has long lines, catering to foreign tourists, but it's still reliably tasty. If it's not too crowded, I'd like to visit regularly. After filling up, I head back home with a satisfied stomach. Thank you for the meal.

Ichiran Ikebukuro is a specialty restaurant located in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku, Tokyo, known for its natural tonkotsu ramen. Founded in Fukuoka, Japan in 1960, Ichiran is a popular chain with over 140 stores nationwide. The Ikebukuro location is just a 3-minute walk from Ikebukuro Station East Exit. The interior features counter seats with partitions between each, making it easy for solo diners to enjoy. The menu offers only the classic "natural tonkotsu ramen," allowing customers to customize noodle firmness, soup richness, garlic amount, and pork fat level to their liking. Ichiran's ramen is characterized by its rich tonkotsu broth, simmered for over 12 hours. The thin noodles are firm and complement the soup well. The garlic is added in a way that blends into the soup, adding a rich flavor. Ichiran Ikebukuro is a popular spot bustling with customers daily, worth braving the lines for. Don't miss out on this tonkotsu ramen haven.

Going to a stable restaurant with coworkers, I wonder if ramen goes well with beer. Maybe you don't understand that when you're young, but as you age, beer tastes better and better. And it's not surprising if you gain weight. Alcohol and noodles don't really leave much of an impression, but if you find them delicious, there's no choice but to gain weight. Let's all become part of the world of Where's Waldo. I'm not really into it, but hey, haha. But in extreme terms, if you eat what you like, drink what you like, and burn it off with exercise, it's zero calories. In my opinion, dieting isn't about not eating, but about making an effort to eat. It's better to work towards eating rather than not eating. So, with that in mind, I slurp down ramen and beer, without exercising, haha.

I chose the Ichiran 5 selection for 1620 yen, with an additional 200 yen for extra rice, 260 yen for extra chashu, 130 yen for extra negi, and 210 yen each for two extra noodles, totaling 2630 yen. I selected the rich flavor, but it wasn't as intense as expected. When I doubled the amount of the red spicy miso-like paste, the saltiness became overpowering and the tonkotsu flavor disappeared, turning the ramen into a heavily salty dish.

The deliciousness of the classic Hakata tonkotsu ramen that has not changed over the years. The calm eating space and customizable order sheet to suit your preferences are of very high quality. The fact that they are open 24 hours is also a strong point. It can get very crowded from lunchtime until around midnight, but it is recommended to go from midnight until morning!

I have visited Ichiran many times, and it has always been delicious, but this time was different. There were no chopsticks or wet towels on the table. This was still okay, but I always order my noodles firm, and this time they were unusually soft, even softer than usual. I was surprised and thought it must be a mistake, but I ate it anyway. (I regret not speaking up.) I doubted myself and immediately ordered a second serving of firm noodles to compare, and indeed, the first serving was noticeably softer. I was shocked, especially since I always looked forward to the delicious food there. I hope they can maintain the same quality every time.

I took my child to a restaurant known for its delicious ramen. Thanks to a coupon on a smartphone app, my child's ramen was free. However, the child-sized portion was not enough, so I purchased an extra serving of noodles. We waited in line for about 30 minutes under the scorching sun. My child really enjoyed the ramen and said they want to go back again.

I waited in line for about 10 people, it had been a while since I last ate here. Half of the people in line were foreign tourists. I felt like inbound tourism is picking up again. I waited for about 15 minutes before getting seated. I ordered the usual, but this time I tried it with extra green onions and without garlic. I also asked for it to be extra spicy. Hmm, the taste seemed a bit different from what I remembered. I think I'll come back again after some time. Thank you for the meal!

After watching it on TV, I couldn't resist the craving for Ichiran ramen, so I finally visited after several years. There were also foreign tourists waiting outside, and we waited for about 30 minutes. I was very satisfied with the taste after a long time and left the restaurant. I will try to go again when it gets cooler.

After a long time, I felt the urge to eat Ichiran ramen, so I decided to visit the restaurant. I waited in line for over 30 minutes under the scorching sun. Everyone must really want to eat here. I ordered my usual set with seasoned egg and extra noodles. It was consistently delicious. The special spicy sauce enhanced the rich flavor of the soup. Of course, I finished every last drop.

After leaving Ikebukuro East Exit and walking for about 5 minutes into a back alley, you'll find a popular chain restaurant surrounded by fences where you can enjoy your meal in your own style without being disturbed by anyone. This famous pork bone ramen chain is known for its popularity and being open 24 hours, which is convenient. You can also enjoy extras like extra noodles without anyone knowing. Many people love the taste, although the prices have increased quite a bit compared to the past. If you love pork bone ramen, this is a must-visit place.

The prices were quite high, but the food seemed tastier compared to when I ate at a different store before. Despite it being 10 am, the seats were quite filled, probably because they are open 24 hours. Most of the customers were foreigners. When I ordered an extra serving of noodles, it cost 1200 yen...

Late-night ramen comes in various varieties, but after drinking, tonkotsu ramen tastes the best. It may sound like a biased opinion from a pork lover, but it's the truth. I had a simple bowl at Ichiran and the soup was truly satisfying! Not too strong in flavor, with just the right amount of spiciness. I finished it in no time and naturally ended up ordering an extra serving of noodles. The second bowl with an extra serving went down smoothly. Personally, I prefer it without the extra serving. Well, after drinking in Ikebukuro, I'll probably end up going back again.

I love to find places to eat breakfast while running at a station on my way to work. This place seems to be open 24 hours. The other day, I was talking with a colleague about Ichiran, so when I saw the sign, I felt like going there. (I resisted the temptation to drink beer, of course.) Inside the restaurant, there were a few young people who seemed to have been out all night. I bought ramen (980 yen) from the ticket machine at the entrance. When I sat down, I filled out the order form. If you mark both white and green onions, you will get both. I like Ichiran because the noodles are light, so I can eat them quickly. The staff bow so low that it was a bit awkward. Overall, the ramen was very delicious. After that, I went for a run and then went to work full of energy! Thank you for the meal!

I missed the last train because of my part-time job, so I went to Ichiran with my friends for the first time! I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant, it felt like a street food stall. The prices were a bit high as rumored, but the ramen was actually more delicious than I expected. I ordered mine with extra richness and a bit more spiciness, and the thin noodles and rich soup paired really well together, soaking into my tired body after work. The unique seating system at Ichiran was also really good, I wish all ramen shops would adopt this.

At Ichiran, they are really pushing the acidity of their Osacaran, but to be honest, I don't see the appeal. I had three topping exchange vouchers from the last app scratch, so I tried it again, but I still don't get it. Oh well, I guess it's just a matter of personal preference.
