"I had been hearing about Torikizoku being a great place to eat, and finally I was able to visit. And it truly lived up to its reputation. First of all, everything is priced at 280 yen (294 yen including tax), no tricks. From drinks to yakitori (2 skewers), to kamameshi, everything is 280 yen. When you break it down... 1. Drinks The large draft beer for 294 yen is amazing, it's a huge mug with about 750ml of beer. This amount is very satisfying. Premium Malt's beer comes in a smaller mug, but still, for 294 yen it's a great deal. However, the other drink options are quite disappointing. The only sake available is a cup sake called "Goukai", which might be overpriced at 294 yen. The white wine is also a cup sake, and when I tried it, it tasted cheap. These two items might be profitable at 294 yen, but they could be improved. On the other hand, cocktails, sours, and shochu options were good. If you enjoy these drinks, it might be a good place for you. 2. Food I started with ordering the cabbage (all-you-can-eat). This could be a good palate cleanser for the yakitori, but the seasoning was disappointing. It tasted like cheap blue shiso dressing. It would be better to have it plain, or with salt, miso, sauce, or mayonnaise. The yakitori, priced at 294 yen for 2 skewers, was decent, but when you think about it, 147 yen for one skewer seems a bit expensive. Of course, there are yakitori places where one skewer costs around 300 yen, so Torikizoku is definitely cheaper. The rice dishes were quite extensive. The kamameshi for 294 yen turned out to be a serving for two people! Overall, despite the good and bad sides of the cost-performance ratio, this izakaya is doing a great business. The fact that there are no appetizers is also great. However, the entire restaurant is smoking allowed, which is the only thing I wish they could change."
