I went to Otsunami, a drum can izakaya in Kanda where appetizers start from 100 yen! The spacious interior has different areas for those who want to watch TV or quietly enjoy their drinks in the back. The fried food is delicious! The jumbo fried chicken is 3 pieces for 300 yen, and the mentaiko cheese fry is a must-order! They only accept cash. Highly recommended!

It's been a while since I went to Kanda! I went to "Drum Can" in preparation for my health check-up in the afternoon, feeling hungry after skipping breakfast and lunch. I quickly finished work and ordered a chu-hi and thick fried tofu with some spare change. However, I found out that I couldn't choose the portion size based on cup sizes like before. I asked the staff and ended up ordering 6 pieces for 150 yen. I also got a chu-hi for 200 yen, paying a total of 500 yen. After about 10 minutes, I thought my order would be ready soon, so I got a refill on my chu-hi. Right after that, my order was ready. The thick fried tofu was crispy and hot, with a delicious soy sauce flavor. Even though I prefer silken tofu, at this price, the double order of thick fried tofu and two chu-hi for 700 yen was a great deal. Thank you for the meal!

Oyaji Hoihoi. If you have about 30 minutes before going out for drinks, Zero Jikai is a good option. It's not too expensive, you can have a quick drink, and it's perfect for those times when you don't want to spend a lot of money. A large bottle of beer is only 550 yen, and a shochu highball is 200 yen. There are simple snacks starting from 100 yen. Cash on delivery, no seating fee, and clear billing are also great! A large bottle of beer, macaroni salad, and pickles cost only 800 yen. Zero Jikai is just what you need. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since I visited a serious Senbero (cheap drinking) shop (laughs). Well, here you can do a one-coin belo (cheap drinking) for sure. I came here with a sense of field trip, feeling a bit nervous, to a drum can cheaper than an izakaya. I ordered ◆Ham Cutlet◆Salted Kombu Cabbage, with many snacks ranging from 100 yen to 200 yen. Even the shochu is 100 yen (laughs). Don't expect taste from here, it's more like a standing bar. But this clunky feeling is kind of like a candy store vibe. And the quality of the alcohol is something to be reckoned with! With a variety of chasers on the wall, just looking at the strips hanging there makes it fun, and when you get carried away, you might end up with a hangover that tastes like cheap alcohol the next day (laughs). I'm not praising it, but I guess that's the concept of this place, so take it as a compliment♪ Are you really aware of the difference while saying it yourself? Even with premium shochu like Kimimiy, there seems to be a difference in taste and hangover between the slightly more expensive ones and the cheap ones. While it's convenient that your wallet won't hurt even if you come here every day, if you come here alone every day, you might end up on the path to alcoholism, and you won't be able to reach delicious things. Right now, it's not easy to invite someone, but... coming with friends in a drunken frenzy, trying out quirky drinks like ponzu sour or veggie high one after another, and getting excited, that kind of use... but I can't think of a scene where it fits perfectly.

Sorry. I apologize from the beginning. I forgot to take pictures of the drinks and food. I came here after everything was already finished. The place has highballs for 150 yen, which is incredibly cheap, and I don't think there was anything on the menu over 400 yen. The interior is as the name suggests, with tables made from drum cans, and it's a standing bar. It's full of salarymen inside. I stand out a lot in my polo shirt and jeans. From now on, when I drink in Kanda, I'll start here to get in the mood before moving on to the next place.

We went to this place for a light drink after the first bar, and we were shocked by how cheap it was. It's on par with Banpaiya, no, it's even better haha The interior has concrete walls with drum cans as tables. You order at the counter and pay on the spot. Hoppy is 300 yen, beer is 100 yen, lime highball is 200 yen, cold tofu is 100 yen, ham cutlet is 150 yen, and thick fried tofu is 150 yen, all for just 500 yen per person! It's more than enough for drinking and snacking! Thank you for the meal!

I've been going to the Jimbocho store recently, but I haven't forgotten about the Kanda store. When you come to Kanda and hear "for now," the noun that follows can only be a drum can (or maybe not). Despite being on the 4th floor, the convenience of this place is unmatched. Good for starting a night out and ending it. The wide entrance is impressive. Today, I press the elevator button exhausted. Thank you for the meal!

After work, let's stop by Kanda for a bit. Let's make a detour to our first stop, Drum Can. Sounds good. Let's enjoy some delicious food today too. Let's share the thick fried tofu C-cup, potato fries, and salted fish roe. Should we also add some curry roux? It was delicious again today, thank you for the meal!

Before the drinking party, I went to a standing bar for a solo pre-drinking session. I took the elevator to the front of the shop, passed through a vinyl curtain, and found myself surrounded by blue drums. I ordered a drink and some snacks from a cute lady at the counter, paid, and said cheers! I had a Tomato Highball (250 yen), which was just the right amount of alcohol and easy to drink. The juice was Del Monte. I also had some quail (100 yen) marinated in sauce, which had a strong garlic flavor. I relaxed and watched TV in the somewhat laid-back atmosphere of the standing bar.

When you leave Kanda Station, you'll find a lot of shops lined up in front of you. There are many standing bars and places where you can have a casual drink. Let's take a stroll and visit various shops. The second place we visited is a standing Izakaya that has been gaining popularity recently. It operates on a self-service system, where you pay at the register before ordering. For fried or heated items that take some time, you will be called when they are ready. They use drum cans as tables, which is quite unique. ● Grapefruit Sour 200 yen ● Ham Cutlet 150 yen The Grapefruit Sour has a nice sweetness with a hint of bitterness. The Ham Cutlet was thin, similar to the ones you can find at supermarkets for around 100 yen. So, when you think about it rationally, it may seem a bit expensive, but considering there are no table charges or cover fees, it's not too bad. You can also help yourself to wet towels. The surface of the cutlet was crispy, and the saltiness of the ham was just right.

First visit from Aichi Prefecture‼️ Searching for a drinking place near Kanda Station on Tabelog, I came across something rare‼️ Drinking around a drum can, that drum can❓ Fantastic idea‼️ It's a great place whether you want to drink cheaply, deliciously, or have a hearty drink. The staff are all friendly and make you feel at ease.

The drum can table standing bar is really cheap. Prices are 150 yen for chu-hai, 200 yen for highball, and 300 yen for a hoppy set. Beer is also inexpensive. Snacks start from 100 yen. I ordered salted cabbage, curry roux, and ginkgo nuts. A woman was running the place by herself, but she was efficient and provided service without delay. The customer service is good too. The Galley Shochu High is sweet, so it's good for those who like sweet drinks. The mysterious Tokyo Bay drink is a Galley Shochu High with umeboshi, and it's less sweet. It's unclear why it's called Tokyo Bay. It's a reasonably priced and enjoyable drinking spot.

I came to this bar after the previous place I went to was too crowded. It was a Friday night and the bar was packed, but luckily there was a spot by the drum barrel in the back that was open. I was surprised to see quite a few people dressed in women's clothing inside, but they explained that they gather here once a month for drinks. It was a fun experience standing and chatting with other customers, and they had a lot of drinks and food options for only 150 yen. It's a wallet-friendly standing bar. Whether I want to meet the cross-dressing individuals again or not is another story, but I definitely want to come back for a second or even zero round soon!

Senbero. What a nice ring it has. I saw it introduced on a certain website, so I decided to stop by. It was my first time, so finding the place was a bit... Ah, there it is! It's on the 4th floor of the building. Such a charming building. Let's head up. Taking the elevator to the 4th floor. Once I arrived, the entrance was right there on the right. No door, just hanging vinyl. Truly living up to the Senbero style! I love it. Now, what to do. It's Senbero, so let's calculate and drink (laughs). You order at the counter and pay as soon as you're called. The interior is filled with oil drums (laughs). Great atmosphere. First, a highball. And some meatballs and shumai. I think the meatballs and shumai were only 100 yen each. And also ordered a ham cutlet. Waiting to be called. The highball comes quickly! Placed on an oil drum, cheers! So fresh. People are having a blast drinking at various oil drums. Everyone looks like they're having a great time. Even those drinking alone. They look so content. Meatballs, shumai, ham cutlet arrive! Mmm, perfect snacks for a Senbero place. Sipping and enjoying slowly is the way to go. It's so delightful (laughs). Quickly quenching the thirst and finishing up. I'll definitely come back for more leisurely visits. Thank you for the meal.

I had a drink appointment with a friend and used this place for about 30 minutes. It was a busy weekday in a business district, and the place was almost full. The manager and staff are of Chinese descent, but their hospitality is much higher than other places. The manager's charm seems to captivate various people, and I was also completely enchanted. The chu-hai (150 yen) was not too strong, but it had a good taste. And it's really cheap. The oil-drizzled chicken (200 yen) and shredded leek (150 yen) for snacks were also delicious. Especially the chicken in the oil-drizzled chicken had a nice texture and was amazing. I ended up going back after drinking with my friend. The second time, I had the downtown gratin (250 yen), cold tofu (100 yen), and two chu-hai. The atmosphere is really comfortable, and it's cheap. Most of the customers seem to use this place like their own home. While it's important to have a focus on ingredients and cooking techniques, I think the charm of this place's atmosphere and hospitality is something that cannot be achieved with just any effort. I was captivated by this place's charm even after just one visit. Whenever I come to Kanda, I want to stop by even if it's just for one drink, and I feel like one drink won't be enough once I'm here.

This shop has an irresistible charm. I don't remember when or how I found out about it, but whenever I go to Kanda, I always make sure to stop by this shop. In fact, I come to Kanda just for this shop. Today, I started with a glass of beer and waited for my appetizers. There was a new menu item or a limited-time menu item called "Spicy Oil Thick Noodles" that caught my attention. I immediately ordered it. What arrived was a wide noodle dish with spicy oil and a hint of sansho pepper. It was so delicious that I couldn't stop eating. And of course, it went perfectly with my drink. Yes! I love the taste so much that I have to give it extra points! Today, I had a great time drinking and eating! Thank you for the meal!

After enjoying natural potatoes, I decided to check out another place, which turned out to be quite unique. Upon entering the shop after taking the elevator, I was surprised by the unfinished interior design - it looked like they were in the middle of construction. A drum can was haphazardly placed as a table substitute, and many people were standing around drinking. It was a strange and lively atmosphere that you don't see often. It might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I personally loved the chaotic and unpolished vibe of the place. The quality of the drinks and food was average at best, more like frozen food quality, but considering the incredibly low prices (around 200 yen for everything), it wasn't a big issue. The menu posted on the walls had some hilariously bad writing, which added to the charm of the place. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to those who enjoy this kind of unique atmosphere!

A standing izakaya in front of Kanda Station. This was our fourth stop for yakiniku. Since it was a holiday, there were only two other customers inside. We were free to choose our seats. I ordered a plum sour and we toasted! It's a pay-as-you-go system, so everyone can order whatever they like and pay separately. We had harusame, pickled plums, chicken karaage, and potato fries as snacks, and then we just kept drinking 150 yen shochu highballs non-stop! By the way, there was a yakitori restaurant across the street that caught our attention, so we decided to check it out too.

The train and train petting point... the connecting station from Kanda to Shitamachi, Kanda Pure Love Edition - Today's target is the "Drum Can" in Kanda. Recently, there has been an increase in cheap standing bars, and the new customer chain is growing. In the past, I was into the New Half Customer Chain. It's a little different, but it makes a big difference. As the name suggests, this place is a standing bar where drum cans are used as tables. They don't spend much on the interior, so to be honest, it's pretty cheap (rumored). I quickly ran up the stairs and entered the 4th-floor store... Wow! It's pastel-colored. I was imagining something more like a real drum can, but that would make it look like a "workshop celebrating completion on time," so it's better this way, painted in pastel colors. Here, you order as you go by looking at the short menu posted on the wall. ・Vice Sour 300 yen ・Fried chicken 3 pieces 150 yen This short menu is so funny! ・Downtown gratin * No meaning of downtown ・Medium 100 yen * Ten shots for a thousand yen ・6 kinds of oden * Egg fighting ・Lemon sour * Exile style with just alcohol ・Lime sour * One word comment: Can't beat lemon This sense of humor is unbeatable, it's hard to write. I received the Vice Sour and tried to calm down my feelings at my drum. I drank a little bit with the sweet and sour Vice, my heart pounding like it was baked in an oven. The crispy fried chicken is okay in taste because it's cheap. And there you have it, I'm half drunk, not fully drunk (total 450 yen). I can't drink alcohol, I'm a lightweight, so I can get drunk for 500 yen. The pink Vice and the sky blue drum can make me feel like Kiki and Lala, so cute. Sipping little by little in a tipsy style.
