Cheap and very delicious! The interior has been renovated and looks beautiful. However, service might be a bit slow because they seem to be understaffed. The Nagano-produced fuki miso provided as a service is excellent.

Visited Asakusabashi Business Hotel in early March 2015 and had breakfast at the Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel. Reservations were required the day before, and it cost 300 yen. The breakfast consisted of bread, boiled eggs, and salad, similar to a cafe-style morning set. You could have as many slices of bread as you wanted. Coffee was self-service from a machine. Milk was provided in a large pack, so you could make your own cafe au lait. The bread was not from Pelican as I had hoped, but considering the price, it was understandable. It was just regular sandwich bread. Butter, strawberry jam, and blueberry jam were also included. The salad portion was quite generous. While I could have had breakfast at a nearby cafe, the price here was a great deal considering the location in Asakusa.

I attended a year-end party at MEIMEI, a Chinese small plate restaurant located on the 1st floor of Asakusabashi Business Hotel. The atmosphere inside was cozy and warm, with a homey feel. We had a reservation for 12 people, with a high female ratio of 10 women and 2 men. We started with a toast with beer, and then moved on to a delicious homemade Makgeolli that we brought with permission. The food, prepared by a Chinese chef, was authentic and tasty. The stir-fried pea shoots with garlic, grilled dumplings, and the dumpling hot pot were particularly delicious. The party cost was set at a target of 3,000 yen, and although I left early, I wonder if it was enough considering we also had 5-year and 10-year aged Shaoxing wine. If it was not enough, I will make sure to pay my share next time we meet. I got a bit lost on my way there, exiting from the east side of Asakusabashi station, but the restaurant is actually just a 2-minute walk from the west exit. This is a Chinese restaurant located a short walk from Asakusabashi Station. It is on the first floor of the Asakusabashi Business Hotel. The restaurant is quite casual, with about 30 table seats. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and homemade pan-fried dumplings. The prices are reasonable. The shrimp fried rice was tasty, with a good balance of salt and pepper. The shrimp was a bit soft though. The pan-fried dumplings had a crispy skin and juicy filling. Overall, the meal cost 1,000 yen and I received change, which I thought was cheap.

It's reasonably good. MEI MEI (Asakusabashi) (Chinese cuisine) There are still many restaurants in Asakusabashi that I haven't been to yet. So this time, I visited a new restaurant called "Chinese Small Plate Cuisine MEI MEI" for the first time. The restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Asakusabashi Business Hotel, about halfway between Asakusabashi Station West Exit and East Exit. The lunch menu includes set meals such as A) Shrimp Chili Set Meal ¥700, B) Sweet and Sour White Fish Set Meal ¥700, C) Minced Meat and Bean Thread Stir-Fry Set Meal ¥680, D) Mapo Eggplant Set Meal ¥680, as well as rice bowls and noodle dishes like Beef Belly Bowl ¥680, Ramen & Half Fried Rice ¥600, Pickled Mustard Leaf Ramen & Half Fried Rice ¥700, Tantanmen ¥650, and Braised Pork Belly Noodles ¥700, totaling 5 options. Since I couldn't decide which one to recommend, I ordered the C set "Minced Meat and Bean Thread Stir-Fry." It was served at the table in about 5-6 minutes, and it had a good amount of volume. The bean thread's texture was crunchy, adding a nice touch, and it was quite delicious. The bean threads were not too soft and absorbed the soup nicely. As I continued eating, the spiciness gradually spread, increasing my appetite. The rice went well with the dish, and I even resorted to the bold move of eating it "on the rice!" The soup was an egg drop soup with a rich and delicious broth. It had a thick consistency, allowing me to fully appreciate the flavor of the broth. Overall, it was quite tasty. However, the Asakusabashi area has recently become a battleground for Chinese restaurants, so in terms of cost-performance, it may be a bit unfavorable.
