It's around 7:00 pm on a regular day when I visited. The sign is not very big, giving off a welcoming vibe. Upon entering the house, you take off your shoes and change into slippers. There is a large counter table on the first floor, but this time I made a reservation for the second floor. The second floor has sofa seats, which were fully occupied, but the tables are spaced out nicely allowing for a relaxed dining experience. The sofas are comfortable to sit on, and the height is just right for dining. There is a wide variety of wines available, with four different types of red wine available as the daily specials. The prices of the drinks are average to slightly on the higher side. The food menu offers a variety of appetizers and main dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious. Among them, I will mention the dishes that stood out the most. Firstly, the complimentary bread served with cheese was delicious, setting high expectations for the rest of the meal. The pasta dishes were incredibly tasty. The Arrabbiata had a rich tomato flavor that stood out. The Porcini cream sauce pasta had a nice aroma of Porcini mushrooms, and the balance of cream and oil was perfect. The recommended Fugu cutlet of the day was surprisingly tasty, with no fishy taste when dipped in tartar sauce. The Chicken Rice dish had a unique presentation and tasted like a cross between risotto and paella, which was delicious. Overall, the food was delicious, but the pasta dishes were particularly outstanding. The combination of tasty dishes in a stylish and calm atmosphere makes this place highly recommended.

I've always wanted to go but never had the chance! The appetizers of striped jack carpaccio and mackerel beccafico cutlet were delicious, especially the mackerel cutlet. It was my first time trying it, and the saltiness of the cutlet and the tomato sauce were exquisite. The hummus and chips on the side were also delicious! Also, the grilled ribeye for the main course was incredibly tasty, it's been a while since I've had such a flavorful grilled beef.

It had been about 3 years since my last visit, but this time the dishes at the restaurant seemed even more diverse and flavorful. The recommended wines paired well with the food, and the whole tomato chicken clay pot rice for the finale was nostalgic. Perfect for a small celebration or a date. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Hidden in a hidden gem, everything tastes delicious! The exterior of the restaurant looks like a house, but inside there is a stylish open kitchen with various seating options including counter seats, sofa seats, and window-side tables for two. It is highly recommended for special occasions. They offer a special dessert plate for 1,500 yen with a personalized message, although I don't have a photo of it.

I searched for a restaurant to eat on Monday night and made a phone reservation to go. It had been a while since I visited Kagurazaka, and I noticed that many of the shops had a similar Kagurazaka vibe. Among them, this place had an interesting concept where the restaurant name was not very prominent, and the nameplate of "Furuta" at the entrance served as a landmark. You have to take off your shoes when entering, but the interior of the restaurant had a comfortable urban concept. I was torn between choosing a course or à la carte, but the à la carte menu was quite appealing, so I ordered the following items: - Seasonal vegetable garden perfect vegetable bagna cauda sauce ¥1,600 - Grilled eel and edamame rice croquette ¥1,400 - Kamakura taro and gorgonzola cheese gratin ¥1,000 - Chicken rice in a clay pot ¥1,500 - Shine Muscat tart ¥750 - Red wine Ravis ¥3,900 - Maker's Mark highball ¥700 The complimentary "rye bread and homemade fromage cheese" was delicious, and the main dishes were outstanding. The menu mentioned that they grow vegetables on the rooftop, but it seems that the cultivation amount has decreased recently. However, the vegetable garden vegetables and side vegetables were incredibly healthy - all crispy and crunchy. I highly recommend the chicken rice in a clay pot. The wine from the ¥3,900 series was also quite good. I was too full to try the pasta, so I'll have to save it for next time!

I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. It was my second stop after drinking at a nearby sake bar. The entrance looked like a regular house, but when I opened the door, I was greeted by a lovely open kitchen space. The contrast was exciting. Since it was my second stop, I wanted something quick. I had a salad with mango and burrata cheese, liver pate, and roasted duck. The mango was surprisingly sweet and rich, and the roasted duck, served on two separate plates, was juicy and delicious, with the mustard seeds adding a nice touch. The pasta looked delicious too, so I plan to visit this place for my first stop next time.

Visited ARBOL for the first time in the backstreets of Kagurazaka. The name on the sign says "Furuta"! There are two floors, with an open kitchen on the first floor. It's fun to watch the chefs cooking at the counter. The cheese that comes with the bread is similar to Gorgonzola but has a milder flavor. The cold corn potage whets the appetite, and the blue cheese pairs well with the sweetness of the mango and the acidity of the tomato. The pate is thick and satisfying. In the current season, the summer vegetable ratatouille is delicious with just the right amount of acidity. The lasagna was also tasty. The chicken rice is highly recommended. I would like to try the pasta next time. I would love to go back to enjoy delicious Italian food in the charming atmosphere of Kagurazaka. Thank you for the meal!

The Kagurazaka Festival, held after a four-year hiatus, brought a bustling atmosphere to the town. We had a meal at a house on a small alley, where Albole is located. Although I have used Albole several times before, first-time visitors always seem to get lost and hesitate at the entrance. I forgot to take a picture this time, but we ordered the 7000 yen large plate dish and one bottle each of beer, white wine, and red wine. It was delicious!

The dishes were delicious, using seasonal ingredients from all over the country, so the menu changes with the seasons. There is a variety of wines starting from the 3000 yen range, making it affordable. The food selection is extensive and everything from the salad to the soup to the dessert was delicious!

The interior of the restaurant, which was renovated from an old folk house, was nice. It was great to be able to watch the kitchen in the middle while eating. The dip for the appetizer was so delicious that I finished it quickly. The liver pate had no strange taste or smell, and I wanted to have more. I ordered a single portion of pasta, but it was divided into two plates from the beginning for easy eating, which was a wonderful consideration. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was also good, providing a calm and relaxing space. I definitely want to visit again!

I thought it was a small shop being run at home, but inside, there was a restaurant with an open kitchen in the middle and seating around it. I was surprised by the fake exterior gate and name tag. It seems better to make a reservation in advance. We were able to get in for a late lunch as it happened to be available. We had a quick Caprese salad and pasta. The Caprese salad had burrata cheese and you could add olive oil yourself. It was delicious and disappeared quickly because we were hungry. We shared a pasta dish of spaghetti with bottarga and cabbage, and shrimp and green beans in lemon cream. The spaghetti with bottarga was spicy with plenty of garlic, a classic dish. The lemon cream was light but rich in flavor. The shrimp was small but firm and tasty. The narrow path leading to the restaurant really captures the essence of Kagurazaka. It's a fun place to visit.

It was a wonderful restaurant with an open kitchen style in a single-family house! The interior was clean and the atmosphere was great, making it highly recommended for a date. The second floor was a bar, but there were no customers, so I'm curious about what it would be like. The food was delicious, especially the corn soup and the clay pot rice made with a whole tomato. I would like to make a reservation and visit again!

The back alleys of Kagurazaka lead to a standalone house, just as rumored. Upon entering, you can see the open kitchen surrounded by seats. There are also seats by the counter, giving off a cozy living room vibe. Today, I sat at the counter and enjoyed watching the cooking process. No matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. Starting with bread and sauce, I began with a glass of bubbly. The daily recommendations on the blackboard included Hiramasu carpaccio, first bonito cutlet, bagna cauda, grilled ichibo, and the famous chicken rice as the finale. The chicken rice is cooked in a clay pot with tomatoes and meatballs, then mixed and served in a tea bowl. It has a slight tang from the tomatoes, making it a sophisticated dish. Definitely worth a try. I'm sure a date at this place would be exciting from the very beginning.

This is a restaurant located in a house in the tea house district of Kagurazaka, with a sign saying "Yoshida" at the entrance. You might feel a bit nervous when opening the door, but once inside, you'll need to take off your shoes before going upstairs. The menu is handwritten on a blackboard, and you can choose from dishes like Shine Muscat and Burrata, Carpaccio, Grilled Ichibo, and Firefly Squid and Seaweed Cream Pasta. The wine selection is great, with a fixed price menu of 3900 yen, perfect for those who tend to drink a lot. Some items may be sold out, so be sure to ask before ordering. We ended our meal with a delicious Gorgonzola cheesecake. The service might be a bit slow at times, but the atmosphere of Kagurazaka is charming, making it a perfect spot for a date or a girls' night out. You're sure to impress your friends by bringing them to this hidden gem of a restaurant.

Italian restaurant in Kagurazaka. Visited for dinner on a weekday. As you pass through the cobblestone approach of a back alley, you'll find a standalone house. The hidden gem vibe is strong. The inside of the restaurant is bustling with a full house. The clientele consists of couples at the counter and groups at the tables. [Food] - Bread with butter. - Strawberry and colorful tomato salad with burrata cheese. Strawberries from Tochigi. The large burrata in a deep dish is very juicy. It's mixed with fresh strawberries and cherry tomatoes. - Cheese omelette with white asparagus. White asparagus from Italy. - Carrot potage soup with Kyoto carrots. - Grilled Kyoto duck. Kyoto duck with fresh mustard and salt from Niigata. The duck meat is cooked rare, showcasing its robust flavor. - Spaghettini with young ayu, karasumi, and spring cabbage in peperoncino. Young ayu from Aichi. The thin noodles make it difficult to eat with a fork, so chopsticks are recommended. It's quite spicy, with the bitterness of the young ayu adding a unique touch. [Wine] - Schlumberger (Alsace) Pinot Blanc. - Montchauve 2017 (Burgundy) Pinot Noir. Great for a date.

It was my first visit. At first, it looked like a regular house from the outside, so it felt strange to enter someone's home. Inside, it had a stylish atmosphere and was fully booked. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were seated outside. It was a windy day, but being surrounded by plastic sheets was not a problem at all. The food was as shown in the photos, and everything was delicious. It felt a bit pricey, but considering it's a popular restaurant, it was understandable.

I decided to have a stylish meal in Kagurazaka. Walking through the narrow cobblestone streets, I saw a house and decided to go inside. The open kitchen created a great atmosphere. I ordered the strawberry caprese, asparagus omelette, grilled duck, chicken rice, and wine. The caprese was rich with creamy cheese and sweet strawberries, perfect for an appetizer. The omelette was fluffy and the asparagus was delicious. The grilled duck had a nice chewiness and paired well with red wine. And the chicken rice was a surprise. At first, a regular pot rice was served, but when mixed, it turned into a chicken rice with a tomato sauce-like flavor. It was also delicious. The taste, atmosphere, and service were excellent. The staff were nearby and easy to call, providing quick service. I will definitely make this place my regular spot.

The reasons why this restaurant is popular may be the delicious food, the Kagurazaka atmosphere of the cobblestone streets before entering, and the contrast between the unremarkable exterior of the house and the bright and lively interior with an open kitchen after entering. #Kagurazaka #Ushigome Kagurazaka #Iidabashi #Italian #House #Oysters #Konbumori #Vegetables #Soup #Clams #Wine-steamed #Ichibo #Grilled #Earthenware pot #Chicken rice #Gateau chocolat #Tart cake #Furuta

I got lost near the store and had my colleague come to pick me up, haha. At first glance, it looked like a regular house and I was a bit unsure of where to enter. Inside, it was spacious with even a second floor. We sat at the counter this time. The menu had a variety of dishes, and there were also recommendations on a blackboard. They had a wide selection of wines as well. The dishes were all beautifully presented and delicious. The seats were always full, so it seems like a popular spot. Make sure to make a reservation early if you want to visit.

I took a leisurely stroll to Kagurazaka. By chance, I passed by a shop in the maze-like cobblestone alley and was able to enter without a reservation just before the last lunch order. The interior of the shop had an open kitchen, was bright and had a great atmosphere. The dishes were all delicious and had a sense of commitment. There was also a wide variety of alcohol such as wine. I was able to spend a relaxing time in this hidden gem for adults.
