[Order]: Shirofuku Ramen
[Impression]: The interior of the restaurant is a bit small, with about 6 to 8 counter seats and 2 tables for 4 people each. The ramen has a well-balanced flavor with a variety of toppings. The chashu and seasoned egg are delicious. I ordered the regular noodles. It's just right for late-night ramen.

After drinking, I visited for a final drink. I had the Black Miso Pork Bone Ramen. The ingredients were plentiful. The thickness and curliness of the noodles were good. The soup was rich but surprisingly easy to eat. It's impressive that they're open at this hour. Thank you for the meal. It's been a while since I last came, but it was delicious.

This ramen restaurant is located along a main street towards Zozoji Temple, within a 5-minute walk from Daimon Station on the Toei Oedo Line. The restaurant operates from 11:00 in the morning until 4:00 in the early morning, making it convenient for those working late hours. The young-looking owner manages the place efficiently, with decent customer flow and quick service. The ramen served here is of the tonkotsu shoyu style, similar to "kayseramen." Customers can choose the oiliness, richness of flavor, and firmness of noodles. The default option has slightly strong flavor and chewy noodles. The soup has a slightly salty taste, but adding more oil can balance it out. The ramen comes with plenty of spinach, and even the cheapest option includes generous amounts of seaweed. During lunchtime, rice is also served as a bonus. With its long operating hours, good service, generous portions, and overall pleasant atmosphere, this restaurant is highly recommended and has many regular customers.

I had the Kurofuku Ramen (980 yen). This is my 4.5th visit, and I really think this is a delicious ramen shop. It has a lot of toppings like seasoned egg, spinach, green onions, and seaweed. What's more, there are two types of chashu, and the braised chashu is very tasty. They also have Akafuku and Shirafuku, both of which are delicious, so I recommend trying them to find your favorite flavor.

Visited on a regular weekday night. It was not crowded even though it was late after work, and I had been curious about it since I saw a line outside before.
■ About the shop
About a 3-minute walk from Daimon Station. It is located before Zozoji Temple. It is easy to find as it is along the main street.
■ Inside the shop
There are about 10 counter seats. I sat near the entrance, so I'm not sure if there are seats further back. It was empty inside as it was around 9 pm on a weekday.
■ Food
I ordered the Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen. It looked good. The taste was what you would expect from Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen, but it was a bit too rich for my liking. The chashu was a bit tough and lingered in my mouth. Some people may enjoy this taste, but personally, I wouldn't come back.

Food fighter Max Suzuki has apparently visited the restaurant twice in the past. It is a 5-minute walk from Hamamatsucho Station. On a Saturday at 19:55, he visited for the first time. That day, he was heading to a udon shop that was closed, so he confidently went to Braise, a Western-style restaurant, only to find it closed as well. After wandering around, he decided to try this ramen shop. There were 7 counter seats and 2 tables for 4 people each. There were 2 groups of 4 customers and 3 groups of 5 customers. The staff consisted of 3 people. He ordered the Chashu Ramen for 980 yen with an extra portion for 100 yen, totaling 1080 yen. The chashu had a slightly smoky flavor, which was delicious. The noodles and soup were tasty at first, but as he ate, the soup became saltier, making it slightly salty and eventually too salty. The soup was a bit rough with its strong saltiness, making him feel a bit tired of eating it. While he understood that the soup would be incredibly delicious with the right amount of salt, he also felt that making the soup too salty might have been a waste of its excellent base. He wondered if Max Suzuki had visited when the saltiness was just right. The base was very good, but the excessive saltiness made the soup feel a bit rough. As of July 2023, the restaurant has a rating of 3.38 on Tabelog.

I arrived at the restaurant feeling like I missed out on the free rice promotion that ended at 2:00 pm. There were many ramen shops in the area that I like, but I decided to try one that I hadn't been to before. There were only two other customers and two Asian staff members chatting while efficiently serving customers. I ordered the recommended Black Fukuro, a special pork bone soy sauce ramen. It was described as rich, but I didn't find it particularly rich - it was a typical house-style ramen. The portion size was normal, and the main feature seemed to be the rice that I missed out on due to arriving late. I ended up drinking all the soup, but it was a bit too salty and made me feel a little sick. There is a popular chain of house-style ramen nearby, so this place may face tough competition. I worry about how long they can survive.

Tokyo business trip. Drinking with my friend Gori, a Minato ward resident, around Hamamatsucho. Just when I was thinking it might be time to call it a night, Gori says, "How about we go eat ramen?" Without hesitation, I agree. Third round confirmed (laughs). Now, let's wander around to find the perfect ramen to finish the night. As we walk from Hamamatsucho station towards Tokyo Tower, we spot a distinctive red sign with a large white curtain that reads "Tonkotsu Shoyu Ramen Fukuki." The delicious aroma wafting from behind the curtain is enticing. This looks like a good spot. Both of my friends' eyes are sparkling (laughs). This is the place to be. Now, what should we order? While the name suggests tonkotsu shoyu, they also have tonkotsu salt and tonkotsu miso. Since we're already quite full, let's go for the tonkotsu salt, a lighter option! Plush chooses tonkotsu miso, and Gori goes for tonkotsu shoyu. We also decide to share some gyoza. As we wait for our ramen to be prepared, we watch the process with anticipation. Even though we're not extremely hungry, watching this scene makes our hearts leap with joy. After about 15 minutes, our ramen arrives. Let's dig in! First, the soup. The tonkotsu salt ramen is light but still has a depth of flavor. The tonkotsu flavor shines through nicely. This is really good. The noodles are slightly thick and curly, perfect for soaking up the soup. The toppings include braised pork and chashu, both of which complement the noodles and soup perfectly. Slurp, slurp, slurp. In just a few minutes, the three of us have finished our bowls. Our stomachs are about to burst (sweat). Gori looks satisfied when I glance over at him. It seems even Gori won't suggest another place. Phew. The night in Hamamatsucho ends with a full stomach. Grateful for Gori's great company as always. We vow to meet again soon and the full stomach night comes to a close.

This ramen shop specializes in black pork bone broth ramen. The soup has a rich flavor that goes well with the curly noodles. The pork topping (different from chashu) is very tender and flavorful, perfect for eating on its own or with rice. Unlike other ramen shops, there is no overly salty soup or overly soft noodles here. Overall, very satisfying.

Black Fukuramen 980 yen [Overall] ★★★☆☆
A ramen with a home-style soy sauce tonkotsu flavor [Soup] ★★★☆☆
The saltiness of soy sauce comes to the forefront and the tonkotsu flavor is minimal [Noodles] ★★★☆☆
A slightly thick curly noodle, similar in texture to a non-fried thick version [Ingredients] ★★★☆☆
The braised pork was seasoned on the sweeter side and didn't quite match the ramen. The chashu was tender [Next time] Fukuramen

The shop was open late into the night, and even though I visited after 11 pm, it was still crowded with customers. The ramen seemed more like a "home-style" ramen rather than tonkotsu ramen. It was just the right amount for a post-drinks meal.

I entered the restaurant around 11 PM. I purchased a soy sauce tonkotsu ramen for 980 yen from the ticket machine, and they served it to me in about 5 minutes after ordering! The ramen is similar to a house-style ramen, with medium-thick noodles and a rich tonkotsu broth. If you like house-style ramen, you will find it delicious. It's also convenient that they are open until 4 AM. I plan to come back regularly to eat here!

I ordered the Red Fukuramen, Gyoza, and rice. The Red Fukuramen had spinach, egg, and seaweed on top, a classic ramen dish. I visited as a finisher, but it was a bit heavy! Well, maybe it was just my stomach not being able to handle it. I was drinking, so I didn't have much of a taste impression...

I visited during the day on a regular day and ordered the special soy sauce pork bone ramen with egg and chashu toppings. The ramen was okay, not particularly impressive. It was tasty but nothing special, so I'm not sure if I would come back again. It was convenient that they accept cashless payments.

▼Access: 3 minutes walk from Daimon Station▼Scene: Dinner with friends▼Price: 980 yen▼Ordered: Spicy Negi Ramen for 980 yen. Orders were made using a ticket machine that also accepted various electronic payment methods. The restaurant's feature is that it offers a variety of ramen styles such as soy sauce, salt, miso, and tsukemen. They also serve gyoza and rice, with toppings like seaweed, flavored egg, and braised pork available. Additionally, they have a selection of Japanese sake and beer. It's a convenient ramen shop where you can enjoy a casual drink. The Spicy Negi Ramen had a rich pork bone broth with a perfect balance of spiciness and richness, making it a delicious bowl. I visited on a Sunday at 6 pm, and despite being managed by the owner alone, the shop was almost full, indicating its popularity. It was a bit disappointing that the Spicy Negi Ramen soup was slightly lukewarm, but I would like to visit again.

In February 2023, I visited a ramen shop in Hamamatsucho for a light lunch. It had been a while since I had ramen, so I was excited. I purchased my meal from a ticket machine, but they also accepted card and cashless payments (just let the staff know). I think it's a tonkotsu shoyu ramen shop, but I chose the tonkotsu shio ramen with spicy negi topping. It came with a generous amount of toppings, which made me happy. When I took a sip of the soup, I felt it was a bit lukewarm. I wondered if it was because of the chunks of meat besides the chashu. The medium-thick curly noodles were chewy and just to my liking. The soup was flavorful without being too heavy. It was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Spicy ramen (not miso) and half rice are amazing. I think the top 3 in the world are "Sei-ya Sasazuka store," "Wise," and here. The soup is incredibly rich and perfect after drinking alcohol. The meat is tender and delicious, especially when you mix it with half rice, make a chashu bowl, and eat it alternately with ramen... It's so good that you feel like you could die happy. It was close to the last train in the office district, so the staff seemed very busy and didn't have much mental space, but please take care of yourself... I think this is a ramen shop that Japan can be proud of in the world. (Even though it was my first visit, I only had the spicy one)

I visited Fukuki located near the A6 exit of Daimon Station. The food tickets had to be purchased in advance. I ordered the Kurofuku ramen with firm noodles. The ramen was served quite quickly. The turnover of customers was fast, with people coming and going constantly. The taste was like Tonkotsu soy sauce, with rich oil coating the noodles and making it delicious. On top of the ramen were eggs, seaweed, two types of chashu, spinach, and green onions. There were also other options available, so I plan to try something different next time. Thank you for the meal.

Visited before Saturday evening. Not during lunch or dinner time, so no waiting to enter. The place was about 30% full. Ordered Shirafuku ramen. It arrived in about 5 minutes! The noodles were medium-thick straight noodles with a chewy texture. The soup was salt tonkotsu, not too salty but very easy to drink. Toppings included chashu, braised pork belly, green onions, spinach, flavored egg, and sesame seeds. The chashu was thicker and softer than it looked, great for snacking with drinks. The braised pork belly was well-cooked and tasty. Personally, I wish it had a bit more fat. The flavored egg was surprisingly soft and delicious. A restaurant I would love to visit again. Next time, I want to try the hearty noodles. Thank you for the meal.
