I visited a ramen shop in Shinjuku Kabukicho on a Saturday morning at 7:49 am. The address is 1-9-5 Kabukicho, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, in the Sankei 61 Building 2F. The nearest station is Seibu Shinjuku Station. Upon entering, I was seated at the counter as the private rooms were all occupied. The atmosphere was typical of Kabukicho, with a black color scheme. The staff consisted of three male employees. There was no background music, only the voices of the staff and customers could be heard. I ordered the Ura Tora ramen for 1100 yen and a draft beer for 550 yen. The appetizer was served even if you didn't order alcohol, and it paired well with the beer. The ramen arrived at 8:00 am, with thick noodles and a rich broth that was not too heavy. The chashu was tender, and the seasoned egg had a slightly runny yolk. The bamboo shoots were thick, and there were green onions and seaweed as toppings. Overall, it was a delicious meal.

Visited during the daytime on a day off. Waited for about 10 minutes before entering. The seating was spacious and calm, giving off a vibe that was not typical of a ramen shop. It was wonderful. As for the taste, since it was my first time, I chose the recommended tsukemen. I also opted for the yuzu-flavored dipping sauce since I love the scent of yuzu. The taste was as I had imagined and delicious, but it didn't exceed my expectations. I thought it would be better if there was something else to make a more memorable impact.

The atmosphere was like a private izakaya with a wide variety of appetizers, making it comfortable for chatting and staying for a while. The fact that private rooms are available at this price is very cheap. However, maybe because people tend to stay longer, the turnover is slow. We had to wait about 20 minutes even though there were three of us waiting. There are many types of ramen available, but all of them are just average. Not bad though. I tried the Ura Taketora Ramen. It has a thick, creamy tonkotsu soup.

I visited Toradare Miso Ramen for 980 yen on a weekday after 6:00 AM. There were many customers already there, with 8 more arriving after me. The staff, all energetic young men, were all very lively. Everyone seemed to be enjoying their drinks. I felt a bit envious. There were even customers waiting at the entrance when I left. Amazing.

The ramen was delicious. The soup and noodles were very well combined and tasted great. However, the rice was a bit hard, which affected its compatibility as tamago kake gohan. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and nice, and I would like to come back in the future, especially after drinking.

Yuzu Fish and Seafood Tonkotsu Ramen ¥1100 This restaurant is a representative of ramen in Shinjuku. There are two stores in Shinjuku, and they are open until morning, so it gets quite crowded late at night! They also have private rooms where you can eat in a calm space. The menu is extensive and overall slightly expensive, but it is convenient. The ramen and tsukemen have a taste that makes you want to eat them regularly.

Taketora is a highly recommended place since my student days!! My recommendation is the spicy level-separated tsukemen at Ura Taketora!! By separating the spiciness, you can enjoy the original taste of tsukemen and also adjust the level of spiciness, making it a great choice! The chashu bowl is also delicious. LOL

I have been here a few times, but this time I tried the Yuzu Fish and Seafood Pork Bone Ramen. My friend ordered the Ura Takako Ramen, so I compared the soups and I personally prefer the Yuzu one. I found the Ura Takako soup to be richer and more flavorful. I added the free collagen for women. The restaurant has private rooms and offers services that are friendly to women, so it's a place I would like to visit again.

I feel like I've been going to my favorite ramen shop for about 10 years now. They always have more than 10 types of ramen on their menu, including seasonal limited-time options. Usually, ramen shops with a large menu aren't very good, but here every item is delicious, so you can't go wrong with any choice. I highly recommend the "Ura Tora Ramen" and "Ura Tora Tsukemen". The Ura Tora Ramen is a rich pork bone soy sauce ramen with plenty of back fat. The noodles are white in the picture, but they turn black when mixed with the soy sauce broth. It's very rich and the thick noodles have a good bite to them. I always end up ordering this one after much deliberation. The Ura Tora Tsukemen is different from the ramen, with a spicy dipping sauce, and it has a unique flavor that I recommend trying. They also serve fried noodles as an appetizer while you wait for your ramen, and they offer free collagen balls for women, which is a nice touch. The shop is usually crowded, but there is another branch just a minute's walk away from the Shinjuku store, so you can compare both and go to the less crowded one. The interior of the shop is quite clean for a ramen shop, and the fact that they have private rooms is a big plus. During off-peak hours, they may even seat two people in a private room. The private rooms are spacious and can accommodate about 6 to 8 people, so it's great for a large group without worrying about the noise. The quality of the ramen is also top-notch. After a long time, I went to Takeko in the early morning. I had the Yuzu Takeko tsukemen with egg over rice, and I also tried the limited menu item, Sesame Sauce Cold Tantanmen, which I forgot to take a photo of. The cold tantanmen I tried for the first time was spicy but delicious. I want to eat it again.

Since my student days, this place in Shinjuku has always been a go-to option for lunch. I visited after a long time. Normally, I would order the Ura-Torakko tsukemen or ramen, or the Shio-buta ramen, but during the summer, the limited-time dishes are also delicious. So, I ordered the cold spicy tsukemen this time. This dish is perfect for summer with its spiciness and coldness. The sakura shrimp adds a nice touch and it is incredibly delicious. It has become my favorite dish here, even surpassing the three regular dishes I usually order. If you get tired of the spiciness, adding an egg makes it even more delicious. By the way, the menma here is really tasty. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The tsukemen is delicious but the turnover rate is slow, which is understandable. I went on a Sunday at 3 pm and had to wait for about an hour, but it was worth it as I got to enjoy delicious tsukemen. The special serving has a large portion, so getting a large serving might be a good idea. From a male perspective.

The shop was good. The location was not so great. Kabukicho seems to have bad safety after all, so I tried to avoid it, but the shop was crowded even late at night! Maybe because of the location, it's easy to get crowded at night. However, the turnover is good, so I didn't have to wait much. It might be easy to use for a second or last stop! Even though it's Kabukicho. Thank you for the meal.

Delicious!! The line moves quickly! Avoid peak times. The bill is around 1000 yen per person. This was my second time trying Takeru Ramen, and this time I went to the Kabukicho branch. I arrived at 5 am, so I only had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. Last time I came around 6 pm and waited about 30 minutes. The turnover is fast! There are counter seats and private rooms in the back. I always have a hard time choosing between salt and miso, but this time I went with miso! I ordered the spicy ramen and it was satisfyingly spicy. It was so quick that I could even finish the broth! The crispy chashu and soft-boiled egg were perfect too.

Lunch on 04/05... at Menya Takeshiro Honten... I had the Agedashi Shoyu Ramen in regular size (120g) for 980 yen, paid in cash (with a boiled egg topping). It had been a while since I had such a clear soy sauce ramen. I didn't know it came with an egg, so I ended up adding it as a topping. Wish they had told me beforehand. Risking a gout attack... but it was delicious.

The restaurant had a very luxurious feel to it. I dined alone at the counter, but there were also many private rooms available. I ordered the delicious salt ramen and a draft beer. I usually don't drink alcohol with ramen, but I couldn't resist in this classy atmosphere. The ramen had just the right amount of salt, and the thin noodles paired perfectly with it. The thick slices of chashu were very tender. The finely chopped onions added a slight bitterness, which could be a nice accent depending on personal preference. Overall, it was a very delicious bowl of ramen.

I went there late at night and had to wait behind 3 or 4 groups. Once seated, the food came out quite quickly after ordering. We ordered chashu rice, special gyoza, Ura-Toride Tiger Ramen, and Ura-Toride Tiger Tsukemen (spicy). The tsukemen was rich and spicy, very delicious! The ramen was also rich but not too heavy, very easy to eat. Truly a famous and great restaurant. I'm glad I went.
