I entered the restaurant around 11 pm on a regular day. The long counter was about 50-70% full. I ordered a mini tsukemen with a small amount of garlic and vegetables, which is the lightest option in terms of calories. The noodles were similar to ramen noodles, flat and firm, making it easy to eat even in the hot summer. One of the good things about chain restaurants is that they have low barriers, so I feel like coming back here for a Jiro-style ramen about once every six months. The convenience of being able to easily come here is also important.

The name of this ramen shop is well-known, but I had never been there before. When I passed by the front of the shop, I felt like I could easily go in, so I did. Even though I ordered a small ramen, the portion was quite large. If you add extra vegetables, you will probably be full before you even get to the noodles. The meat, vegetables, and noodles were all not as heavy as they looked, and were delicious. However, it's not suitable for a meal after drinking. You should make sure you go there on an empty stomach.

I visited a ramen shop in Hatagaya! This time, I visited "Ramen Butsuyama" in Hatagaya. I ordered "small ramen," changed it to "cold noodles," added "flavored egg," and "raw egg." I also asked for extra garlic, vegetables, and extra oil. I saw that Akaboshi SEO had visited this shop before, and it seems like it's already the season for cold noodles. I've been hooked on Jiro-style cold noodles since I tried them at Chigirimi last year. The mayonnaise on top looks irresistibly delicious. The sauce is mayo-based and incredibly tasty. The fried onions add even more richness. The noodles have a strong texture, which I really like. The vegetables, including shredded cabbage, purple cabbage, and carrots, with plenty of bean sprouts underneath, are so delicious that I can't stop eating. The chashu pork at Butsuyama is unbelievably delicious. Most Jiro-style chashu pork is served cold and softens in the soup, but this one, despite being cold noodles, is warm and tender. It goes perfectly with the vegetables and noodles. I rate the flavored egg as one out of one. I love Jiro-style cold noodles. They are quite different from regular cold noodles, but if you're a fan of Jiro-style ramen, I recommend trying them. I asked the staff how long they would be serving cold noodles, and they said, "We'll be serving them until around September." So it looks like they'll definitely be available until the end of August. I happened to find a Jiro-inspired ramen shop in Hatagaya and decided to try it for the first time. Despite being hungry, I opted for the mini size based on past experiences. However, the portion was still quite large. The chashu was thick but not as heavy in flavor as other Jiro-inspired ramen I've had before, which I found to be just right. Both the noodles and soup were delicious, and I managed to finish everything until the last bite.

"Pork Mountain Hatagaya Store" Pork Mountain, which has about 20 stores mainly in the Kanto region, offers ramen inspired by Jiro. Sometimes you just crave this type of ramen. Once you get hooked, it's hard to get out. You can eat without the tension of lining up at the original Jiro. Order the small ramen with extra everything. The creamy soup with the melted flavor of pork and fat is addictive, and the thick, chewy noodles are delicious as always. The taste and appearance are almost the same as Jiro.・Store Name: Pork Mountain Hatagaya Store・Google Maps: Pork Mountain Hatagaya Store 03-6276-0909・Nearest Station: 24m from Hatagaya Station, 27m from Hatagaya Station・Business Hours: Business hours・Closed: Business hours and holidays are subject to change, so please check the latest information on the website・Regular Holiday: None・Reservation: Not available・Budget: Up to 999 yen・Other Information: No private rooms, not available for private hire, all seats non-smoking, no parking#PorkMountain #HatagayaRamen #Ramen #DeliciousRamen #TokyoRamen #Jirorian #GourmetLoversWanted #Gourmetstagram #GurumeMemo #WantToConnectWithGourmetLovers #FoodPornGram #FoodPornographer #TabeLog #Tabelogger #FoodPornism #GourmetTravel #DeliciousIsHappiness #LookingForGourmetFriends #FoodieClub #FoodieGirls #FoodieBoys #WantToConnectWithGourmets #KantoGourmet #FoodReportGram #GourmetReport #FoodWriter #FoodJournalist #BGradeGourmetInformation #TokyoGourmet

I felt like eating a lot, so I tried this place for the first time. The large portion for 950 yen with 400g of noodles seemed reasonable to me. It's good that you can choose the amount of vegetables like regular, extra, or double, but unfortunately, the taste was lacking. The portion size was good, but the taste... Maybe when adding more vegetables, it's necessary to order a stronger flavor.

Ramen Butsuyama ☆ Hatagaya branch. Small ramen ............. 830 yen. This is my second time at this restaurant. Oh, the prices have gone up here too... How sad. (>▂<) I ordered the same small ramen with extra vegetables, extra fat, and extra garlic as last time. Hmm, was it this much last time? Can I finish it all...? Well, I did (blush). I will come again! \(^o^)/

This is a small ramen with extra vegetables, extra fat, and spicy leek toppings. It's a Jiro-style ramen and might be my favorite. The chashu is soft and easy to eat, you can cut it with chopsticks. The noodles are thick and satisfying. I feel like eating it once a week or every other week.

The color of the sign makes me crave Ramen Butsuyama. lol When ordering the Jiro-style shop's soupless noodles, they ask about the amount of vegetables before it's ready. They ask quite strongly, almost as if saying to hurry up. lol The vegetable-filled chashu was unbelievably thick!

Mini pig ramen for 950 yen, with 125g of noodles, 5 slices of pork, and plenty of garlic, resulting in the classic mountain-shaped ramen. The noodles and soup are on the lighter side, but with a generous amount of meat. It would be enjoyable with beer at the first stop, but by the third stop, you'll be eating in silence. Even though it's described as light, eating 5 slices of chashu provides plenty of volume. The thick noodles offer a satisfying chew. At that moment, you'll feel a certain indescribable satisfaction, but it's something you should enjoy only occasionally.

I finally got to visit a Jiro-style ramen shop near Hatagaya Station that I had been wanting to try for a while! I ordered a small ramen with rice and topped it with "garlic vegetables." As it was written, "For first-timers, it's recommended to try it as it is," the amount of vegetables was huge. I was so focused on eating the vegetables that I couldn't really taste the ramen. I also ordered rice, but I was so full that I could barely finish it...

Mini ramen for 750 yen! Despite the 125g portion of noodles, it is quite satisfying! It comes with two thick slices of chashu and you can also add plenty of vegetables (this time I went with the normal amount)! The soup is flavorful without being too heavy (о´∀`о). I initially thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime ramen shop, but it was so delicious that I became a repeat customer! Thank you for the meal!

Exiting the ticket gate at Keio Shin Line Hatagaya Station and turning right towards the street, you will find Ramen Butsuyama along Koshu Kaido. I visited for the first time on a Sunday around 3 pm for a late lunch. The shop has various branches, but this was my first time at Butsuyama itself. Inside, there are about 15 counter seats lined up in a long narrow space. You buy a meal ticket at the entrance ticket machine. The standard option is two slices of pork, with different sizes based on the amount of noodles. There is a Small Ramen (250g noodles/800 yen), Mini Ramen (125g noodles/750 yen), and Large Ramen (375g noodles/900 yen). Two slices of pork are in the Small Ramen, five slices are in the Small Buta, and eight slices are in the Small Buta Double. There is also an option for +100 yen for soupless ramen, and +100 yen for a rich miso soup called Miso Yama. There is a note for first-time visitors to choose Small or Mini. This time, I chose the "Mini Ramen for 750 yen". Payment is cash only. When you sit down, you hand over your meal ticket and specify the amount of vegetables and fat, as well as the intensity of the flavor. I chose all to be normal. It took about 10 minutes for the meal to be served, and just before that, they asked if I wanted garlic. I declined. The steam rose, and the appearance was covered with a large amount of bean sprouts and pork. It was the type where if you added too much, you wouldn't be able to reach the noodles. I tried it right away. It was a Jiro-style soup with chewy noodles. Despite being called two slices of pork, the thick slices were enough with just two. It was easy to eat with the regular amount of oil, etc., so I was able to finish it quickly. The Mini size was just right when you want to eat normally. I'm curious about the miso soup and soupless options, so I'll come back to try them out.

■ Access: 1-minute walk from Keio New Line Hatagaya Station ■ First visit ■ Purpose: Dinner with friends ■ Overview: "Ramen Butayama," with a total of 19 stores mainly in the Kanto region, is located in Hatagaya. The company behind it also operates popular chains such as "Machida Shoten" known for Yokohama-style ramen. The restaurant is conveniently located near Hatagaya Station and has a single row of 15 counter seats. The official website of the restaurant can be found here: https://www.gift-group.co.jp/butayama/ ■ Menu: They offer ramen categorized as "inspired by Jiro." It features a tonkotsu soy sauce broth with plenty of pork umami, a mountain of vegetables, and distinctive toppings like garlic and pork fat. It is said to be addictive, with rumors that once you're hooked, it's hard to break free. On this day, I had the small-sized Buta-Mashi ramen (1,000 yen) and was asked for free toppings just before the ramen was served, so I ordered extra vegetables and pork fat. ■ Impression: Sometimes I crave this type of ramen. After exercising, I felt like eating something hearty, so I came here after a long time. There wasn't the same unique tension as the original Ramen Jiro, and I could relax while ordering and eating. Since I had plans after this, I asked for no garlic, but the rich pork umami in the soup made it delicious. The simmered pork was melt-in-your-mouth and added great flavor, so I felt it was a good choice to add extra pork. You can enjoy a taste close to the original without waiting in long lines, so I would like to visit again when I feel like eating it. Thank you for the meal. ■ Rating at the time of visit: 3.27

Even during this time of year, they stay open late. Thank you Butayama. I stopped by on my way home from drinking in February, as seen in the blurry image on my phone and vague memories. I visited again in March. In February, I had the small ramen with an egg. I vaguely remember leaving some behind, sorry about that. In March, I opted for the mini ramen. The spicy oil was the highlight of the day. I ordered it with garlic and it was delicious. It seems like a little less garlic would be better. It's a very easy-to-eat Jiro-style ramen. The daily special addition is also enjoyable. It's a tasty and approachable Jiro-style ramen, which is much appreciated.

The nearby restaurant is known for its "small ramen" which is topped with extra oil and has a rich, creamy soup that coats the noodles well. It's a great place to go when you want to eat a lot of ramen and feel satisfied. The large chunks of meat in the ramen will fill you up quickly.

Visited the restaurant around 7:00 PM on September 13, 2021. Ordered a mini ramen. Initially felt like ordering the mini pork, but then felt like I didn't need it anymore, so it couldn't be helped. I had only been to the Otsuka branch of Butsuyama before, but compared to Otsuka, the Hatagaya branch has: - a sense of cleanliness in the store - a sense of cleanliness in the staff - multiple female staff members - a very pleasant staff demeanor, which I really liked. The taste is probably the same. In the future, I plan to come here instead of Otsuka. If you like this type of ramen, I personally recommend Butsuyama. Located along the Koshu Kaido, near the station, with many illegally parked cars and a lot of pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Embarrassingly, I have never had the opportunity to go to Jiro's, so I have never been there, but this is a Jiro-style ramen that even someone like me can easily enter. I entered to consume garlic, which I can only eat on a day when I have no plans the next day. Even though I ordered the ramen with a little garlic, there was quite a lot of garlic. It looks relatively light, but has a solid umami flavor. The bean sprouts go well with the soup, so you can eat a lot. The pork is also tender and not too fatty, it's delicious! The noodles are firm and the whole ramen can be eaten smoothly. The smell of garlic didn't go away the next day.

Late at night, I suddenly had a craving for ramen. I decided to go to Kotsuba, but unfortunately, it was closed. So I headed to the other side of Hatagaya Station where there were two ramen shops - Musashiya and Ramen Butsuyama. I chose Ramen Butsuyama, a type of ramen known as Jiro-style. I ordered a small ramen for 780 yen, which was quite generous in portion. The noodles were thick and had a good chewiness, while the broth was surprisingly light despite being salty. The thick slices of chashu were flavorful and tender. Overall, it was a satisfying meal without the intimidating atmosphere often associated with Jiro-style ramen shops. I would recommend this place to those who are hesitant to try Jiro-style ramen. Enjoy your meal!

The usual pork tour to Butayama. Butayama, which is steadily expanding its influence without anyone noticing. The interior of the restaurant has a counter seat with a simple screen and depth. Since the small ramen has 250g of noodles, this time I opted for a mini ramen with half the amount of noodles. The mini ramen costs 730 yen. Just before serving, I requested garlic with extra vegetables. I reduced the amount of noodles and increased the amount of vegetables to reduce calorie intake, using a clever trick. I tried to find soup from the mountain of bean sprouts and drink it, but it was thin... Perhaps the lack of draining the vegetables or increasing the amount of vegetables diluted the soup. If it's too thin, you can add the sauce on the table... It's somehow frustrating. The curly thick noodles have a good texture with the soup. Since the noodles have more saltiness than the soup, I ate the bean sprouts and noodles together. The chashu is so tender that the fat melts in your mouth, and it's delicious, but if you don't eat it towards the end, you won't be able to finish the ramen itself.
