Tachidai, Shichifukujin~~❣️ Up up up up, fried food paradise is here✨ Shichifukujin is a popular restaurant in Osaka Tenma, with branches only in Koko and Omori in Tokyo. Rare. They use original sauce from Osaka that has a sharp taste with their fried foods. It goes well with anything. Boiled eggs, beef tendons, potato fries, pork fillet, tulips, all become a heavenly delight when fried here. When I think of Osaka sauce, as a Kanto person, I imagine something like a thick okonomiyaki sauce. But this sauce is more like Worcestershire sauce. It's different from just Worcestershire sauce. For more details, ask at the restaurant. Today's highlight for me was the potato fries. I've been looking for the triangular potato fries that used to be sold at the old butcher's deli section for 10 yen each. I love them. I thought they were nowhere to be found. I'm so happy to find them here in a neighboring station. I couldn't help but order three. So delicious. I want to eat about 10 more. But I want to try other skewers too, so I'll stick to three for today. Also, they have shrimp mochi, pork fillet, chicken breast, beef tendons, boiled eggs, chicken meatballs, tulips, cheese, chestnuts, croquettes, and baumkuchen. They're all fried. You might think that chestnuts or baumkuchen don't need to be fried and should be eaten as they are, right? However, try eating them fried. You'll also think, "Thank you for frying them!" (Prediction) Furthermore, they have fried chicken halves too!!!! Perfectly fried☆ Not burnt at all, with crispy skin and moist and tender meat inside. With the fried chicken half boom, we now encounter various fried chicken halves. Some have breasts or chicken breast that are too bland or starting to get tough. But all the fried chicken halves at Shichifukujin are perfect. The taste, tenderness, and frying are all spot on. After eating a lot at the restaurant, I even asked for some to take home. When reheated at home, they were still delicious and tender. (Have you eaten enough already?) I used to live around here, so walking up the slope from the station towards Meguro City Campus brings back nostalgic memories, and I can't help but feel warm seeing the development of the Tachidai area. I wonder why I used to find this slope so difficult back then. Walking it now, it's quite easy. Maybe there are more and longer slopes in Jiyugaoka. Living in Jiyugaoka really trains you. Walk up the slope and enjoy some fried food! #skewers
