I went to a Chinese restaurant with seven friends! It was a restaurant that my friends who live nearby visit every week. We ordered over 12 dishes, and every single one of them was delicious. The restaurant was clean, the service was great, and it was very comfortable for our group of eight to chat and have a good time. The staff was flexible and accommodating, adjusting the portions based on the number of people. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant for large group gatherings!

On the second Sunday of April 2023, at 1:20 PM, I arrived a bit later than usual for lunch. I decided to go to this place that I had never been to before due to the timing. Located in the basement of a building just past "Musashiya" to the right of Higashi-Nakano Station, it had a dark entrance and narrow staircase leading down. The name of the place is "Kofukuen," but the sign outside made it seem like a ramen shop. The menu was a mix of an izakaya and ramen shop, with a man dining alone inside. I hesitantly went down the staircase and found out that they also served set meals, not just ramen. The staff, a Chinese man, was running the place alone. I ordered the Pork and Eggplant in Oyster Sauce Stir-Fry for 700 yen. The dish arrived quickly and was accompanied by rice, soup, milk, and two complimentary chicken pieces. The soup was rich and flavorful, the chicken was crispy and juicy, and the main dish was delicious with a strong garlic flavor. The portion size was generous for the price, and I left satisfied. I was impressed by the quality of the food and will definitely be returning to try their ramen next time.

After coming back from the sauna, I went to this Chinese restaurant with a friend. I did some research and found out that it has great cost performance. Almost all dishes are only 300 yen. And they are really delicious. The portion size is decent as well. The ramen comes with free extra noodles, which is a great deal for office workers and students. It was really tasty!

Located just outside the north exit of Hatagaya Station on the Keio New Line, this Chinese restaurant is situated in the basement of a slightly old building facing Koshu Kaido. I visited for the first time around 5 p.m. on a day off. Upon descending the stairs and entering the restaurant, I couldn't see the full depth of the place, but there were plenty of table seats and it seemed fairly spacious as it was not crowded during the off-peak hours. The menu offers a wide variety of set meals and noodles. There are ramen sets, rice bowl sets, fried rice sets, and weekly specials, all priced at 680 yen each, making it quite affordable. Other menu items are also in the 800 yen range. This time, I chose the Chinjao Rosu Donburi. The dish was served promptly within 10 minutes. It looked quite filling. It came with a salad, egg soup, and almond jelly. I dug into the bowl right away. Although it had a lot of green peppers and bamboo shoots, the seasoning was strong, making the rice very appetizing. The portion was generous, and I left feeling satisfied. Payment can be made using the Shibuya Ward's payment app "Hachipei." With its convenient location and good value for money, I will definitely come back again when I have the chance.

It had been a while since I met up with a friend and we decided to come here. I was expecting it to be a budget-friendly place for students, but the food was surprisingly good. The portions were generous and satisfying, especially considering how cheap it was. Even my child was full and happy with the meal. The location is convenient, close to the station, so I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal.

I had the black pepper stir-fried beef set meal for 680 yen, which is a great deal that changes weekly. I arrived before 12 pm on a weekday and found that the second floor restaurant I wanted to go to was temporarily closed, so I ended up at this place downstairs. I had a vegetable stir-fry with plenty of oil, a generous portion, and a rich flavor that suited the atmosphere of the restaurant. I really liked it. The soup was egg and tomato, which was delicious. There was a note saying "Comes with fried chicken as a service," but when I asked the waitress, she said today's special was salad. But it's already included by default, so that's great. The seasoning was quite vulgar (in a good way), but for 680 yen near the station, it's worth it. It's an interesting restaurant.

This was my first visit. I was really hungry and thirsty, so I decided to try the all-you-can-eat and drink option (2 hours: 3,000 yen) at the restaurant "Kofukuen Main Store," which I don't usually do. We arrived after 3 pm, and since there were no other customers at that time, we were seated right away, even though there were a lot of us. The owner was very friendly, and the food and drinks we ordered were served very quickly. When I asked if I could charge my phone, they kindly allowed me to use the outlet without any fuss. I left feeling very satisfied. I come to this area often, so I would like to visit again. [Recommended Menu] Mapo Tofu. Price: 4, Taste: 3, Ambiance: 3, Cleanliness: 3, Seat Space: 4, Service: 5, Variety of Menu: 4, Date-friendly: 3/5 points total. [Personal Memo] 1 person / 3,300 yen (Stay time: 2 hours, 6 male customers).

During this visit, I had just moved to Hatagaya and was not yet familiar with the shops in the area. I was consciously looking for a place to become a regular. This was a Chinese restaurant located right after exiting the station. I went downstairs. The interior of the restaurant was spacious, with staff taking a break at the central table, giving off a somewhat underground vibe. I really liked this atmosphere. I ordered "tantanmen." The sesame flavor was appetizing, and it came with plenty of bean sprouts, looking quite good. The soup was light and had just the right amount of spiciness. It was quite delicious. I didn't feel any special excitement, though. The staff I saw inside were all of Chinese descent, but I assume the food was tailored to suit the Japanese palate. I thought they might please Japanese customers more by making it even more exotic. Nevertheless, it was tasty and satisfying. At that time, I thought I would continue to visit this place, but later another Chinese restaurant opened as my new favorite, and I haven't been back here since that visit.

I ordered a very spicy fish dish and it was delicious, so I plan to order it again. The spicy beef noodles were also delicious.

The authentic Chinese dish for 300 yen per plate is appealing, but the 680 yen Chinese set meal is also delicious and filling! The sour cocktails for 300 yen are a great option for a budget-friendly drinking party!

I often stop by after working out at Shibuya Sports Center. The food is cheap and delicious. The drink options are a bit limited. Overall, the cost performance is excellent.

The rice for lunch was microwaved, and the restaurant was also mediocre.

I tried it because it was 300 yen, and it was indeed a small portion. I ordered a lot because I have a big appetite, but it wasn't enough. I ended up ordering a set meal at the end... It was disappointing.

When I moved to Hatagaya, I discovered a shop with a sign on the right after exiting the north exit. The shop is called Kaorifuku-en, not Koufukuen. They offer Chinese set meals, rice bowls, fried rice sets, noodle sets, all for 680 yen. The set meals come with almond jelly, rice, and soup. This week's special includes free spring rolls from 11 am to 11:30 pm. They also offer 200 different dishes for only 300 yen each. Additionally, they have an all-you-can-eat and drink option for 2,980 yen. The shop is spacious with a continental-style service. The menu includes various ramen sets, rice bowl sets, and fried rice sets. The set meals consist of six dishes including mapo tofu, scrambled eggs with leeks, steamed chicken with green onions, sweet and sour pork, beef and vegetable stir-fry, and pork and garlic sprout stir-fry. Lunch customers can get free rice refills up to one bowl. I ordered the five-flavor tanmen for 680 yen, which comes with half-fried rice. The noodles were served in soy sauce soup with a rich filling of vegetables, shrimp, and quail eggs. The noodles were smooth and the soup had a typical Chinese flavor. The half-fried rice was well-filled with chopped fried rice and eggs. My companion ordered the black fried rice, which looked appetizing with a generous portion of rice, vegetables, and eggs. The rice had a dark soy sauce color and was slightly oily but tasty. Overall, the food was decent and reasonably priced. The shop also offers a variety of dishes for dinner, making it an interesting option.
