satoshiiiii
This time, I visited a restaurant located a 5.6-minute walk from Shibuya Station on various train lines. It seems like a quick walk up from Mark City to the top of Dogenzaka! The restaurant boasts private rooms except for the counter, and they have a wide selection of fresh fish from Tsukiji and the best selection of sake in Shibuya. I heard rumors that many celebrities visit this place, so it was my first visit. Climbing up Dogenzaka and taking the elevator to the 3rd floor of a building called Dogenzaka Square, I was greeted by a restaurant entrance that resembled a high-class traditional Japanese inn. After confirming my reservation at the entrance and entering the restaurant, I was welcomed by a hall with a courtyard-like atmosphere. The restaurant was quite spacious, and I was led to a private room for four people. I checked the menu right away. Considering the prime location in the heart of Shibuya, I was worried about the prices, but the pricing was reasonable, and I felt relieved. With a course meal and all-you-can-drink option added through a prior reservation, it was around ¥5500 per person, which I found to be quite affordable. With complimentary draft beer (Ebisu) in a private room, it was a good deal considering the added value, suitable for dates or entertaining guests. This time, we ordered a la carte, starting with draft beer for me and lemon sour for my friend. Cheers. I had another appointment in 2.5 hours, so I thought we would quickly finish our drinks, but surprisingly, it turned out to be a great way to enjoy the evening. We started with a sashimi platter with three types of fish - Sawara, Maguro, and Hirame, with Hirame Engawa included. We ordered for two people, and each type of fish was neatly arranged with three slices, leaving a great impression. My friend was ecstatic about the Sawara. Personally, I enjoyed the slight oiliness of the Hirame. The freshness was as rumored, and I was quite impressed. Next was the Ricotta Cheese Caprese - the cheese was fluffy and almost felt like whipped cream, with no odor. It was served in a long deep dish, filled with cherry tomatoes. The tomatoes were crisp and delicious, complementing the slight sweetness of the Ricotta cheese with their subtle acidity. After enjoying the above two dishes, we were served a Souffle Dashimaki with Uni and Ikura on top, served in a large deep dish. The appearance was impressive, and the taste was gentle, not overpowering the flavors of Uni and Ikura. It was quite a unique piece. Next, we had the Crab Miso Butter - a cracker topped with crab miso, caviar, and various delicacies, making it a luxurious accompaniment to our drinks. Finally, we had the Meat Sushi - a dish not to be underestimated. Each person was served three rolls, topped with Crab, Uni, and Ikura, creating a dilemma on which to eat first. The rice in the rolls was generous, providing a satisfying meal. This restaurant really pays attention to detail. If you want to enjoy a higher level of Japanese cuisine with a group of friends while enjoying drinks, this is a great choice. It's also perfect for entertaining guests or dates. Although the course meal is recommended, this time I left the restaurant fully satisfied with a bill of around ¥5000 per person. Thank you for the wonderful meal! I will definitely visit again.
