(Visit on February 18, 2022) I was instructed by my wife to do some reconnaissance on this restaurant, so I made a reservation through PayPay Gourmet in advance for 11:30. The restaurant is located in a building that I am not familiar with, on the 8th floor of Gotanda Tokyu Square. Wait, when did it change to Tokyu Square? Wasn't it Remi Gotanda before? Putting that aside, climbing up to the 8th floor via the stairs made me out of breath with my mask on... The entrance of the restaurant is very bright and open. After disinfecting with alcohol and having my temperature checked at the entrance, I informed them of my reservation and was seated by the window overlooking the outside. There was a reservation tag on the table. The view outside is nice. I didn't hear from my wife, but I found out that making a reservation through PayPay Gourmet entitles you to a free soft drink. Lucky me. I chose the Black Vinegar & Berry Soda, which I wouldn't normally choose. It was intriguing. Later, I found out it costs 650 yen on the website. I might have gotten a good deal. I finished it first, and as expected, it was mostly ice. Since it was a complimentary drink, I couldn't complain... Now, the food was excellent!! I chose the "Potato Gratin Croquette Set Meal" for 1,089 yen (tax included). You could choose between white rice and rice with barley, so I chose the barley rice. Once I placed my order, the menu was promptly taken away. About 8 minutes later, the dish arrived on a tray. They mentioned that you could pour sauce over it as you like. That's it. It was disappointing that they didn't mention that rice and vegetable soup were refillable. I decided to try the Potato Gratin Croquette as it is at first. It's supposed to be a croquette with curry flavor and white sauce inside, but I couldn't taste the curry flavor at all. Personally, I would prefer it with cheese instead of white sauce. The potato was moist and had a good volume. The plate was adorned with colorful vegetables, making it visually appealing, but the taste was surprisingly bland with a weak white sauce presence. I wanted a refill of the vegetable soup, but it was too much trouble to call the waiter who was on the other side, so I didn't ask for a refill. The barley rice was clumpy, which was a bit concerning. Is that normal? This is a mystery. If I come back next time, I might choose white rice. Thank you for the meal.
