A few years ago, I searched for a bar in Gotanda. I ended up going to "Tarunomizu" at that time. Another bar caught my eye... so I decided to visit. It was located a little away from the bustling area of Gotanda, near Osaki-Hirokoji Station, with a black "BAR" sign in front. It reminded me of Lemon Hearts. The entrance had an authentic bar vibe. We informed them that there were two of us and sat at the counter. We ordered Ichiro's Malt (Wine Cask), Vesper, and Dry Fruits. We found a really nice bar! 🎶

Head to "Bar Amami" in Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku. It's an authentic bar located a bit away from the entertainment district. It's a 3-minute walk from Oimachi-Hirokoji Station on the Tokyu Ikegami Line, and about a 6-7 minute walk from Gotanda Station. The interior is softly lit and cozy, although not very spacious... It was bustling with regular customers. I sat at the counter and ordered a "Gin Rickey." It had a simple and delicious taste, very refreshing. However, on this particular day, it was a bit too lively for my liking. Nevertheless, it's the type of place I enjoy, so I'd like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

No matter how old you are, entering a bar for the first time can be nerve-wracking. I mustered up the courage to go in after looking at the exterior and the menu outside. I don't know much about the complexities of alcohol, but I like Macallan so I ordered that. I savored the changing taste of Macallan as the ice slowly melted, while enjoying the background music and the interior of the bar. The atmosphere was just right, not too close or too distant, and I had a relaxing adult time. I will definitely go back.

The nearest bar to Osaki Hirokoji Station. You can walk from Gotanda, but it's in a different direction from the bustling area, so you might not find it if you don't know. Not exactly authentic, but casual and suitable for both casual and date nights. They have cocktails made with fresh fruits. The photo shows a cocktail made with persimmon.

After dining at "Nakamura" in Osaki Hirokoji, we headed to Gotanda and looked for a cozy place to finish off the night. To our surprise, we found a bar with a photo of Yamazaki barrels on the wall, exuding a bold and charming atmosphere. The wall seemed to transport us into a whisky distillery warehouse, creating a picturesque setting. The open door had a logo that piqued our curiosity, resembling "Amami" - perhaps a reference to Amami Oshima or a woman's name? The interior of the bar was authentic and chic, with a counter and small table seats. We were the first customers, allowing us to have a personal interaction with the master behind the counter. I ordered the private edition "Milsion" with a sweet aroma, while my companion opted for a gin-based "Bloody Sam" cocktail. We also enjoyed some homemade raisin butter as a snack. The master, who resembled Elvis Costello from a distance, shared that the bar was named "Amami" after his mother, who hailed from Amami Island. As the night progressed, regular customers trickled in, creating a mature and relaxed atmosphere. It was a delightful experience at Amami, and we left feeling content.

2015/2/19 It had been quite a while since my last visit. I arrived around 8 pm, before it started getting crowded, so it was a quiet time. I had a nice chat with the bartender about various topics. I mentioned that I wanted a cocktail with kinkan (kumquat) after eating meat but before dessert, and he made a delicious cocktail for me. It was not too sweet, had a nice aroma, and looked beautiful. The fruit cocktails here are always delicious! My friend had a China Blue cocktail, which had a hint of grapefruit and had an adult feel to it (probably because it had alcohol in it!). For the second round, I had a NOAH'S MILL bourbon, which was 57° and had a strong kick. My friend had a Golden Orange Gin and Tonic, made with the delicious fruit that the bartender soaks in gin. We always find it interesting to see the different fruits on display at the counter. We taste them to decide what cocktail to have. This time, the slight bitterness led to the choice of a Gin and Tonic. I wonder when I can come back next! 2013/10/4 It was a long-awaited visit. It was my first time having a cocktail with fresh fruit at this bar. I had a grape-based cocktail, and when I requested it to be made like a Martini, the bartender was surprised and said, "What's that?" I used to order it like that in Osaka. It's complicated. The cocktail had a rich grape flavor and was delicious. My friend had a melon-based rum cocktail, which was also tasty. For the second round, I had a Maker's Mark 46 bourbon, which was easy to drink and delicious. November It took me a while to post this, but I revisited in November. The highlight of the day was the OCTMORE, with 169 PPM. It's a world record! The bartender even tried it. We sat at the counter behind it, but soon moved to the main counter as customers left around 10 pm. I had a Martini and tried my friend's watermelon cocktail, which was surprisingly good. From Gotanda to Osaki Hirokoji♪ Late at night, letting myself go in a light tipsy state, I open the gate of a lovely BAR where I always go. As usual, a White Lady, as usual, a Manhattan, and as usual, a Grasshopper to finish. The weekend flows with enjoyable moments of chatting. Quiet laughter and gentle time, it's nice to have a thrill in the air but also to feel calm and peaceful. The atmosphere, so natural for adults, helps relax the mind. Good night, good night. Feeling comfortable in the flow of the BAR.

I searched for a bar in Gotanda and found this place. It was a bit far from the station so I hesitated to go, but it was the right decision. There were 400-500 different types of alcohol lined up at the counter! They are well balanced and authentic. I always order cocktails when I go to authentic bars, and when I ordered here, I was amazed. They were truly delicious. I have been bar hopping from Tokyo to Yokohama, but in terms of balance, I think this place is the best. Some bartenders may make their cocktails dry based on their confidence, but with this balance, I think it will satisfy everyone from first-time female customers to regulars. I was really surprised by how delicious it was. I wish they had a little more food, but I didn't mind because the cocktails were so good. The master's knowledge was very extensive, he was good at talking, and above all, the prices were amazingly cheap, so I will definitely become a regular. I found a great bar.

I had heard from him that there was a delicious bar, so I decided to visit it over the weekend. The atmosphere was calm and it didn't feel like Gotanda at all. I love Mimosa, so I ordered it as my first drink. It was delicious. The staff recommended a pear cocktail, so I tried that for my second drink. It was tasty and authentic. The presentation was beautiful, and it was a lovely cocktail. My date also enjoyed it, and for his second drink, he ordered the pear cocktail as well. For the ladies, they serve a red liqueur, and for the men, a blue liqueur. For my third drink, I had another pear cocktail. I really liked it. The place was relaxing, the cocktails were delicious, and the staff had the perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. It's a great place, and I will definitely visit again. It's a perfect spot for a nice date. Today, my date invited me back for Christmas Eve. Once again, I ordered a cocktail with seasonal fruits, and this time it was a strawberry cocktail for winter. It was really delicious and I think it's a cocktail that girls would love. The next cocktail I had was a Nashi pear cocktail, which was sweet and sour, and incredibly tasty. Lastly, I tried a yuzu cocktail, which was made with sparkling wine and was very refreshing and delicious. The atmosphere and the bartender were both very pleasant, and I can't wait to go back again. It was a wonderful Christmas Eve. Once again, my date took me to this bar that I love so much. The cocktails here are truly delicious. I love the seasonal cocktails, as each one offers a different taste and it's a pleasure to try them. Today, I tried a new seasonal fruit cocktail, and it was delicious. The bartender's approach was perfect, and it was really comfortable. I will definitely be going back again, with him.

On the way walking from Gotanda to the hotel, there was only one place. It had a sign that just said "BAR." I thought it might be a casual bar, but it turned out to be a really nice bar. There were quite a few customers and I was surprised. I sat at the counter and thought, "Wow, this place is great." They had Clamato, so I ordered a Bloody Caesar. I think the closest station is Osaki-Hirokoji Station. I couldn't resist having some oysters with my drinks. I just kept drinking glass after glass of wine. I wonder how much I drank. It was also quite some time. When I got the bill, it had reached a significant amount, but since it was such a wonderful place, I was okay with it. The staff were like professional bartenders.
