On a certain weekday night, six girls who love alcohol gathered for a drinking party♪ Work didn't finish as expected, and it was supposed to be an overtime day, but... gatherings like this with fun girls are rare!!! Passing on the piled up work to myself tomorrow, I eagerly headed to Shibuya (●´ϖ`●)♡ One of my drinking buddies recommended this place as the venue for the night. The name of the restaurant includes "fish," so it's a seafood-focused place☆ The wall inside the restaurant boldly states "Tokyo Shibuya's fish shop where carefully selected delicious fish chosen by a connoisseur are lined up," showing the confidence of the restaurant. Alcohol-loving girls are also particular about the side dishes... not really, but (laughs) the dishes we order naturally end up being seafood dishes that go well with alcohol (⌒▽⌒) First, let's moisten our throats with a highball toast (not beer intentionally) while choosing our appetizers. ◯Seafood Vegetable Salad Starting with an appetizer, but we girls order appetizers that can also be enjoyed as side dishes. Seafood salad often only has a little octopus when ordered at other restaurants, but here, it includes various types of fish such as tuna, shrimp, salmon, and salmon roe, making it a proper side dish! With flower petals scattered on top adding a touch of elegance, we can expect the following dishes to be great as well (・∀・)! ◯Octopus with Wasabi ◯Sweet Shrimp Marinated in Miso ◯Broiled Monkfish Liver with Ponzu Sauce ◯Grilled Crab Misu on Shell Unanimously agreed, this is the perfect choice for a drinking party. Each dish seems to be prepared in-house rather than being pre-made. Especially the grilled crab miso on the shell is irresistible. With only one for six people, we had to share (fight for it) (^o^;) The first drink was a modest highball, but when such delicious dishes arrived, of course, the next drink will be sake! We have a lineup of sake brands that are specifically chosen to go with the fish dishes, including Shinsei, Kokuryu, Kariho, Shunroku, Dojinsai, Senkin, and Gikou... Not a fancy selection but a lineup of brands that are perfect for fish dishes. Let's start with the dry Shunroku and Kariho. It was unusual and fun to see all six girls drinking sake. We ordered a tokkuri, and we were allowed to choose our favorite ochoko. There were over 20 types of ochoko available. It was fun to choose our favorite sake cups while chatting and laughing (← I sound old, revealing that I am the oldest in this group). From here on, the real fun begins with sake! Side dishes also accelerate as we go along \(^o^)/ ◯Assorted 7 Kinds of Sashimi Salmon, Yellowtail, Octopus, Red Gurnard, Alfonsino, etc... Sorry, I couldn't keep up with taking notes, but I remember that it was delicious. The appearance is also lavish, with shiso leaves and perilla leaves adding a nice touch. As someone from the west, it was nice to see yellowtail in the assortment. Since we had a group of people, we ordered the 7 kinds assortment, but you can order a 5 kinds assortment (2 or 3 pieces) depending on the number of people. I recommend trying this (^O^) ◯Grilled Blowfish Grilled blowfish!? Who ordered that!? (laughs) And it even came to the table with a grill, allowing us to grill it slowly on the table. It seems to be one of the specialties here. It looked delicious even when raw, so I felt it was a shame to grill it, but the faintly grilled aroma and eating grilled blowfish with ponzu sauce was a nice touch (*^^*) ◯Assorted Tempura Bragging Rights Here it comes! A voluminous side dish. But with this number of people and alcohol, we finished it in no time. I had shrimp and conger eel tempura, and with plenty of seafood in the tempura, I was satisfied (^q^) I've been drinking sake all along, and I don't know how many times we ordered additional drinks. Have we gone through the entire sake menu!? Nevertheless, we continue to drink and enjoy ourselves (;´∀`) ◯Seafood Namerou ◯Grilled Soybeans ◯Ratatouille Omelette ◯Beef Tendon Demi-Glace Stew From this point on, my memory is fuzzy. Why did the grilled soybeans come when they weren't listed on the menu!? But with adult-like side dishes, everyone was thoroughly satisfied. I had a hard time remembering from here. The dishes were not listed on the menu, but the grilled soybeans were a nice touch. The dishes were voluminous and everyone was delighted. The Ratatouille Omelette ===========
