In a stylish corner of Roppongi Hills, on the side facing Keyaki-zaka, stands the Japanese branch of the popular New York restaurant Jean-Georges, known as "Jean-Georges Tokyo". With a sleek exterior, this restaurant features private rooms on the second floor and a 14-seat counter on the first floor where diners can watch the kitchen in action. The unique aspect of the cuisine here is the interesting and delicious use of spices and herbs. The prix-fixe menu includes 4 courses (appetizer, fish, meat, dessert) for ¥12,800, and each dish is creatively spiced with a fresh and distinctive flavor. The restaurant may not be for those who prefer traditional French cuisine, but for those looking for a bit of originality and spice in their French dishes, it is quite appealing. The dishes I tried included: - Broccoli Soup with Jalapeno - Tuna Tartare with Apple, Celeriac, and Yuzu Mustard - Grilled Red Snapper with Mushrooms, Finger Lime, and Red Curry Broth - Roasted Duck Breast with Butternut Squash, Turnips, and Wild Rice - Caramel Apple with Green Apple Sorbet and Calvados Sauce The wine selection was also impressive, with notable wines like Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Vire-Clesse Chardonnay, and Chateau Neuf du Pape from Famille Perrin. A unique Georgian wine called Iberiuli Kisi was recommended to pair with the main fish dish, and it surprisingly complemented the flavors well. The staff, including the chef, were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Overall, the clever use of spices and the evolving flavors of the dishes made for an enjoyable dining experience.

Innovative French restaurant located on Roppongi Keyaki-zaka, lined with high-end stores. The interior is very charming, with a main focus on the counter. Their specialty, scrambled eggs with caviar, is exquisite. The eggs are perfectly creamy and smooth, topped with cream and caviar that complement each other perfectly. Chef Jean-Georges is praised as a spice magician, and it shows in the dishes with spices and herbs used effectively. We opted for wine pairing, starting with Jean-Georges label champagne and mainly American wines with some French selections. The dessert wine was Sauternes. Some pairings were a bit questionable, but overall it was an enjoyable experience.

I used it for a meal with a customer. I thought it was a counter seat, but luckily a private room on the second floor was available and I was able to enjoy my meal comfortably. The signature egg dish was expensive, but the taste was very good. Every dish was wonderful and the two hours passed in no time.

A unique and exciting modern French cuisine that incorporates spices and flavors from around the world ✨ Located with Keyakizaka in the background, the interior of the restaurant is a stylish and chic space ✨ Every dish was delicious with a refined and elegant taste, truly living up to its location in the fashionable area of Roppongi. The caviar dish and the meat dishes were especially memorable and I would love to eat them again!♡

I was drawn to this restaurant with its elegant appearance and had been wanting to go for a while. I ordered the reasonably priced lunch course. It was a shame I couldn't have a drink at lunch... The amuse-bouche was a yogurt and cucumber sauce with a refreshing summer taste. The first course was rice topped with marinated sashimi (I forgot what kind of fish). It had a slightly spicy sauce that helped mask the fishy smell. Next, there was a dish with flounder, watermelon, avocado, and soup poured over it to create a cute presentation resembling watermelon with red and green soup. The flounder was fresh and light, without any fishy smell. The main dish, pork, was quite substantial. The first bite had a slight pork smell, but the sauce with a hint of spice and chocolate-like flavor helped to eliminate it. The pork was juicy and tender, cooked perfectly. Overall, I didn't feel like the dishes had as much spice as mentioned in reviews. The dessert, a baked sweet, was too sweet for my taste. As the number of customers dwindled, the staff started chatting loudly at the open counter, and even the elegant chef seemed disappointing. A female staff member was talking loudly on the phone, making the conversation easily overheard, which was unfortunate. Maybe it was because it was lunchtime? If it was a special occasion, the lack of elegance in the atmosphere would have been disappointing. It was a restaurant where I was satisfied with just one lunch visit.

I visited during the long weekend as a treat to myself. There were many courses to choose from, but I opted for the beef course. The dishes were colorful with shades of green and yellow, perfect for summer, and the refreshing taste with a hint of melon was delicious. I heard that the course content changes every month, so I look forward to trying another course in the future.

This is my favorite French restaurant in Roppongi Hills. The first floor has a counter and an open kitchen. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is not too formal. You must try the scrambled eggs with caviar. Despite being a French restaurant, they also have wines from Napa Valley.

I want to visit again ★★★! The flavors are all excellent. It's not your typical French cuisine, they use ingredients like cilantro. I don't like cilantro, but it added a nice touch to the atmosphere... I really liked it! The staff at the restaurant are professional and provide great service. I was able to relax and enjoy my meal without feeling any pressure. In terms of cost performance, considering the location and the quality of the food, it's reasonable.

Today, I visited JG in Keyakizaka at Roppongi Hills! This place has an amazing atmosphere! The counter is so lovely! Just the idea of having French cuisine at the counter already gets me excited, but when you add the wonderful ambiance, it's just perfect! The lamb in the course menu was incredibly delicious this time! Thank you as always! I will definitely visit again! Thank you for the meal!

The private room was very cozy, and the quality and presentation of the food were excellent. It was a pleasant experience. The flavors and cooking style were more familiar and approachable than French cuisine, making it easy to eat with chopsticks. I was particularly impressed by the scallop sushi and the main meat dish. They were so delicious that I wanted to have seconds!

On a regular night, a course for 18,000 yen per person. Surrounded by couples. The counter was full by 7 pm. I chose the signature scrambled eggs with caviar this time. Each dish was small and easy to eat, and absolutely delicious. It's a casual atmosphere at the counter, and the sommelier's light conversation is enjoyable. They mainly offer wines from Napa Valley, but they will select something similar if you express your preference. I definitely want to go back again, as the menu changes with the seasons.

Jean-Georges Tokyo in Roppongi is the place to go for a fancy Friday night dinner! This Tokyo branch of the Michelin-starred "Jean-Georges" from New York offers a modern French cuisine experience with an innovative touch. Located on the street facing Keyakizaka in Roppongi, the entrance exudes a luxurious vibe. The interior features a 14-seat counter where you can enjoy a sophisticated and lively atmosphere. Here's what we ordered: [Dinner/Counter Seat] April Tasting J ¥18,000 - Sweet Peas - Rice - Caviar - Scallop - Crab - Madai - Lamb - Pineapple - Cherry - Mignardises - Coffee & Tea & Infusions [Mizuki's Recommended Menu] - Rice: A French-style bite-sized sushi using salmon and crispy rice. The unique texture and deliciousness blew me away! I could eat these endlessly. - Caviar: You can choose from two dishes using caviar. I opted for the seasonal White Asparagus, which was tender and easy to eat with a creamy mayonnaise sauce complementing the caviar perfectly. - Lamb: The lamb meat was surprisingly tender and free of any gamey taste. It was incredibly delicious! - Dessert: A chocolate and strawberry dessert with a generous portion and adorable presentation. It was irresistibly delicious! Additionally, they serve three types of bread, all of which were excellent. The quality, quantity, and price point of this restaurant in Roppongi are exceptional. Highly recommended for those who appreciate gourmet dining experiences!

Located on Keyakizaka Street in Roppongi Hills, this French restaurant exudes an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, with a counter seat on the first floor and private rooms on the second floor. I tried the 14300 yen course, which included dishes like Broccoli soup with coconut milk and lime, Crispy Rice sushi with tuna and mayo, Avocado and tuna "noodles" with ginger and soy sauce, Trout with porcini crust and lemon olive oil sauce, Fukuoka beef tenderloin with carrot lime emulsion, and Apricot sorbet with almond panna cotta. The dishes were delicately prepared, showcasing the main ingredients with refreshing and spring-like flavors. The combination of flavors in the dishes was enjoyable, and the service was excellent. Overall, it's a great place for a date night with its good location and attentive service.

The Michelin-starred restaurant truly lived up to its reputation. The ambiance, delicate dishes, presentation, wine selection - everything contributed to a wonderful dining experience. From the fragrant peel soup to the crispy sushi, exquisite sauce on the sea bream carpaccio, generously portioned yet perfectly sauced main pork dish, wide selection of teas and elegant desserts, every dish was thoroughly enjoyed.

I had been looking at this restaurant from outside many times and finally visited it. I wish I had come earlier because I liked it so much. I had the lunch course and the appetizers were very elaborate! The main dish, pork, was typical of Kato-san's pork, with a generous portion yet light, tender, and delicious. Even the dessert, fondant chocolate, was well-crafted! Additionally, the chef specially handmade some bread, which was so delicious. The scones, baguette, sesame bread, and dried fruit bread, all had an amazing texture, fine crumb, and perfect baking. Normally, they purchase bread from a supplier, but I wish they would make these breads a regular menu item!

It is true that the food is delicate and delicious, but the cost performance is poor and the service is not very good. You have to ask multiple times before it is served, and the portion is small. The egg in the specialty dish's photo cannot be eaten without paying an additional fee similar to the course.

I finally visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a long time, Jean-Georges Tokyo. I ordered the Tasting J menu for ¥18000. First, I started with a non-alcoholic sparkling wine toast with Chardonnay/Duc de Montagne (Belgium) for ¥1100. It was not too sweet and had a pleasant fizz. For the second drink, I tried the Jean-Georges Signature Soda in Cherry Yuzu Soda and Ginger Lime Soda, each for ¥1100. The yuzu soda had a cherry sweetness, while the ginger lime soda had a strong lime acidity, but both were delicious! The Broccoli soup with coconut milk and lime was refreshing and had a Southeast Asian vibe. The homemade scones were warm and fluffy. The Crispy Sushi with tuna, chipotle mayo, mint, and crispy rice was unique and tasty. The Scrambled Eggs with caviar was a luxurious treat with large caviar pearls on top. The Madai sashimi with espresso, avocado, and rhubarb juice was a delightful combination of flavors. The Crispy Artichoke with rose saffron aioli was fragrant and delicious. The Trout with porcini crust, leek vinaigrette, and herbs had a unique twist with a new skin made from mushrooms. The Duck breast marinated in mustard and roasted with strawberry ginger infusion was juicy and flavorful. The Lemon and Anise Explosion dessert was a burst of lemon and anise juice inside ruby chocolate. The Apricot sorbet and almond panna cotta dessert was a delightful apricot-filled treat. The Mignardises plate with various sweets was a perfect ending to the meal. We enjoyed coffee, tea, and infusions, with the Paris tea being a favorite. Overall, the highlights of the meal were the Madai and Duck dishes, which were light and easy to enjoy!

A modern French restaurant that uses a variety of spices. The scrambled caviar, which is the signature dish, was really delicious! Other dishes such as meat, fish, and vegetables were also enhanced in flavor by spices and herbs. Compared to traditional French cuisine, there was less butter and oil used, making it a modern French cuisine that is also good for your health. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ^ ^

I visited the restaurant with my friends for a girls' night out. We had made a reservation for a set course in advance. Our main target was the egg dish. The cuisine was created by a spice evangelist, and due to my lack of research, the first few dishes were a series of surprises. But the dish we were looking forward to exceeded our expectations in terms of taste. I wish I had two more. We had a wonderful time in a calm atmosphere. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Arrived at 5:30 on a weekday, with about half of the tables filled in the 5 o'clock hour. First up, Parmigiano or mushroom braised chicken soup. Packed with various flavors, this dish sets high expectations for the upcoming courses. Crispy flounder sushi with chipotle. Well-balanced and delicious. And here comes the signature dish. Clearly appetizing visual with plenty of caviar, scrambled eggs underneath, flavored with vodka and lemon. Luxurious and truly delightful taste. Kagoshima red snapper carpaccio with colorful radish and champagne vinegar. The vinegar's acidity adds a great touch. Next, sautéed scallops with cauliflower, butter & raisin sauce. Grilled red sea bream with lily bulb, radish, white sesame, and lime juice sauce. For the meat dish, Australian lamb with caraway seeds, jalapeño, broccoli, and pistachio sauce. Personally not a fan of lamb, due to the smell. A small round ball appears. Coated with passion fruit juice and ichimi togarashi inside. I like these kinds of items. Smooth texture with a burst of flavor in the mouth. The dessert finale, a meringue variation of Pavlova with raspberry and ginger granita. The refreshing ginger sensation works well. Overall, a satisfying course. Even for someone who doesn't like high chairs, there were no comfort issues at all. The servers' consideration was great, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you~♬
