It was crowded with many customers from early in the morning, so it seems to be very popular. I ordered the "Sausage Egg McMuffin set (510 yen)" during the breakfast hours. It was ready in about 3 minutes. Personally, I prefer regular burgers to muffins, but I think the price is reasonable for a muffin with hash browns and a drink included. The turnover is fast, so it is recommended for quick meals when you are short on time.

The Chicken Crisp seems to be popular even in the afternoon. In the morning, the buns are replaced with muffins, and there is fresh lettuce inside. It had been a while since I last visited Futako Tamagawa. With the addition of Rakuten and Rise, I thought it must have become more convenient. However, I felt like the city had lost some of its charm. The crowded places were typical chain stores like McDonald's. The clothing stores were all having sales, but they were similar to UNIQLO with no unique designs. I used to think of this as a city where stylish adults lived, but it seems to have become more casual. Maybe the atmosphere has changed, or maybe I have become more grown-up... As I walked from the station, there were still fashionable places, but I missed the timing to secure a seat. Maybe in a city like this, it's better to go further away from the station. On the other hand, I wish there were more casual cafes near the station. Now, being the adventurous pig that I am not, I settled for the usual McDonald's. As long as I have eggs, cheese, and meat, I can be content. The taste is consistent, the prices are stable. The food comes quickly, and the staff is efficient. It's like an all-electric, all-electric home McDonald's. Maybe the buns got smaller, or maybe my stomach got bigger...

I went to another restaurant but their operating hours were confusing due to infection control measures. Eventually, I found out that only McDonald's and Sukiya were open in the early 7 am. I ended up going to McDonald's as a backup. However, they were not participating in the mobile order service during that time, and even during the eligible hours, table service was not available. I ordered the most cost-effective "Chicken Crisp Combo" (200 yen) with a hot coffee. I paid with cash for the first time in a while and received R points in return (which you can't get with mobile orders). I climbed up to the second floor where I could watch the coming and going of Tokyu trains while enjoying my meal. Indeed, there were no table numbers for mobile orders. This was a quiet restaurant without background music. It was a pleasant dining experience.

However, when I bought a hot tea (220 yen including tax) and went up to the second floor, all the counter seats with power outlets were taken, and almost all the table seats were full. It was past 4 pm on a weekday, but it was very crowded with students and office workers. I was able to find a seat at a table when someone left. I ordered a medium-sized tea, so I was given two tea bags. Along with the tea bags, a small portion was given, which I thought was milk and without checking properly, I opened it and it turned out to be lemon liquid. I decided to use it anyway, but when I put all of it in, it became very sour. By around 6 pm, students started leaving, and some seats became available. It seems like I visited during the busiest time.

In the morning, I had some business at Futako-Tamagawa Station. By chance, I received a message from my daughter about having breakfast at McDonald's, so I decided to join her for a McDonald's breakfast after a long time. It was very pleasant if you could get a seat. Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I had breakfast at McDonald's. I had the Bacon Egg McMuffin set. It's similar to a moon-viewing burger and it's delicious. The set comes with salad and iced coffee. I'm happy that I can choose salad. I will definitely visit again.

The good thing about McDonald's is that you can take a break at a very low cost even in expensive city centers. The food may not be satisfying, but it is perfect for time adjustment and resting when your feet are tired.

Recently, it has been hot days. Today is a weekday and I have the day off from work, so I decided to go out for lunch and ended up in Futakotamagawa. Last time, during Golden Week, I wandered around inside Rise, but it was crowded and as a country person, I got dizzy from all the people. I felt like having McDonald's today, so I entered the store. It was past 2 pm to avoid the lunch rush, but surprisingly, it was still crowded. There were mothers with small children, men in suits, and even elementary and junior high school students, despite it being a weekday. All the staff I saw were women. The age group seemed a bit older overall. I haven't been to McDonald's in a while, so I wasn't sure about the menu and ended up ordering the "Otegoro Mac" set that I saw in a commercial with an iced coffee. I received my order and went up to the second floor. The staircase was quite long. I sat at a table in the back right corner. Looking around, there were quite a few tables. There was a panel in front of me, but it just said "booting up" in the middle with no display yet. I took a sip of the coffee. It was easy to drink with low acidity, but I prefer a bit more bitterness. Then I tried the burger. The pickles added a refreshing touch, and the fried egg was cooked just right, making it tastier than I expected. However, the cheese was overpowered by the other flavors and hardly noticeable. I finished the burger while snacking on the fries. The taste of the fries seemed different, maybe the seasoning was less, and they were slightly cold, so-so. A medium fries fills me up, so I'll go for a small next time. As people started to leave, it became quieter. They have WiFi, making it a good place to kill time. Thanks for the meal!

Since I was in a rush in the morning, I decided to have a light breakfast at the McDonald's located in the commercial facility connected to the station. This McDonald's is usually crowded during the day, but in the morning, there are only locals around, so it was not busy. I ordered the Sausage Egg McMuffin set this time. I always hesitate on what to choose, but in the end, I never eat anything other than the Sausage Egg McMuffin, haha. It was satisfying and delicious.
