It's been a while since I went to Subway. The foreign staff member was very efficient and spoke Japanese well. I noticed that now you have to specifically ask for olives and pickles as accent vegetables. I think the price of vegetables is on the rise, but Subway is a great option as it is relatively low in calories, delicious, and allows you to get plenty of vegetables.

I have always loved Subway. The Subway locations in Roppongi and Nogizaka have been disappearing one by one, so my chances to eat there have drastically decreased. It's been a while since I came to the Akasaka store. Surprisingly, they now accept electronic money. I ordered a tuna sandwich. When I asked for tomatoes, they used to put in up to 4 slices, but this time they only put in 3. I added an egg as a topping, basil dressing, and extra mayonnaise. It had been a while since I last ate there, but Subway is still delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Before going to see a play, I was thinking about grabbing something to eat. I was considering going to McDonald's, but it looked crowded and I didn't have much time to spare. As I arrived at the station, I saw a Subway right in front of me after passing through the ticket gate! I love the convenience, taste, and portion size of Subway, so I decided to take my family there without hesitation. The store had seating outside, although it wasn't exactly a terrace because it was underground. The staff were all foreigners, but they were quite polite. I felt they were more polite than some arrogant Japanese staff. I will definitely use this Subway again when I go see a play in Akasaka.

After visiting the Lovit Museum and seeing the new Lovit posters, I stopped by Subway in front of the ticket gates at Tokyo Metro Akasaka Station on my way back from the Rappy Market to satisfy my hunger. I ordered the luxurious Teritama Chicken Drink Set with a hot cafe latte in medium size. The chicken was juicy and the lettuce and tomato were very fresh, making it the best.

Subway in Akasaka offers delicious sandwiches. I ordered a half size Teriyaki Chicken sandwich this time because I was a little hungry. The chicken was tender with a good texture, and the sauce complemented it well. I enjoyed it.

When I go to Akasaka, I always stop by for a late lunch or coffee break. The service is okay, but Subway is delicious and I can get my veggies in, so I end up going there often. It makes me feel like I'm in a foreign country, the potatoes are better than McDonald's. I always enjoy it deliciously as usual.

If you know how to order well, you can enjoy it more! It's been about 2 years since I last visited, so I don't get to see them often. When I encounter them in an area I don't usually go to, I tend to enter the store, but I always end up rushing with my order. I ordered the New and Al Pastor Tacos, ignoring the good spicy and healthy flavors, and got the potato set with herb-flavored potatoes, which were hot and delicious. I hope to meet somewhere again. Stable taste, here comes Pyon-chan! This time, I visited the Subway store in Akasaka. It's right in front of the Akasaka station exit. The interior only has the ordering area. There are tables and chairs outside the store, so secure a seat before ordering! My favorite is the Prosciutto Mascarpone sandwich with Wheat bread, toasted, with extra bell peppers, lettuce, olives, and pickles, and a lot of basil sauce (for those who prefer light flavors, olive vinegar is also great). The combination of prosciutto, the saltiness of olives, the richness of mascarpone, and the acidity of pickles is irresistible! I went in the early evening so it was empty, but during lunchtime, expect long lines! Subway is great because it offers generous portions, lots of vegetables, and low calories! It's great for those on a diet or lacking vegetables. Also, trendy salad shops often charge around 1000-1500 yen for one salad, but at Subway, it's usually under 500 yen per item! It's easy to eat with one hand, which is convenient.

Akasaka Station, I tried to find a quick lunch place above ground by myself, but couldn't find any promising restaurants easily. So, I went back to this Subway in front of the ticket gate of the subway station. I really wish there were more eat-in places like this at station premises.

◆ Lunch Set 480 yen
◆ Salsa Dog 300 yen
The Lunch Set includes a choice of teriyaki chicken, tuna, or roast beef. I chose tuna. It's a set, so you can choose either a small drink or small potato. I chose the potato. There are also sets where you can choose both a drink and a potato. I chose sesame bread, and it went really well with the tuna. It was crispy and the tuna was creamy. I didn't realize that vegetable toppings were free, so I only added carrots. I should have added more!
The Salsa Dog hot dog is quite filling for 300 yen. It's not unique to Subway, but it's simple with lots of pickles. The salsa sauce adds a nice kick. The potato was freshly made and hot! It was warm and had a gentle saltiness to it.
□□□ Overall □□□
The location is great being directly connected to the station. It seems like it could get crowded, but it's definitely better than having nothing. The staff are quick and efficient. The eat-in space could be a bit larger. It's a rare find in a city with few fast food options.

I went to Subway in Akasaka for the first time in a while. It's close by and I always think I can go anytime, so surprisingly I don't go often. Also, I don't like desk lunches, so I don't have many opportunities to use it. This time, I went to eat the limited edition KinKaku Burger. It came in a box and looked fancy. It was 890 yen, which is quite expensive. But it was delicious and filling, as expected for the high price. The hamburger was delicious, which is a given, but it stands out from other sandwiches. The price is not cheap, but with only 509kcal, it's low in calories and impressive.

Subway x Kaku-no-shin Sandwich: Subway and the four-time meat festival champion Kaku-no-shin have collaborated! A sandwich made with luxurious ingredients such as the KinKaku hamburger will be available for a limited time starting from November 30th. Additionally, it will be available for pre-sale from November 1st for one week. I went to try it out immediately. I visited the Subway Akasaka Metropia store, located right in front of Akasaka Station. The sandwich comes in a luxurious box with the shining Kaku-no-shin emblem, building up high expectations.
KinKaku DX (Deluxe): There are two options, "KinKaku Burger" and "KinKaku DX (Deluxe)", so I chose the Deluxe version, which includes bacon and cheese, making it the most expensive sandwich in Subway's history at 990 yen. The bread used was the Onion Sesame Pepper Bread developed specifically for this sandwich, incorporating onion and sesame. The dressing is a special Japanese-style sauce (with yuzu pepper) made with grated vegetables to enhance the deliciousness of the KinKaku Burger. The KinKaku hamburger, made with ground beef from Iwate Prefecture and white pork from Shirogane, is seasoned with salt koji to make it tender and flavorful. Even though the size has been reduced for the sandwich, the meatiness remains. You can also taste the richness of the cheese and the smokiness of the bacon. I usually go for extra vegetables, but this time I recommend having a normal amount to fully enjoy the meat. This sandwich is truly satisfying. I would love to try adding extra cheese on top.

I had a meeting in Akasaka and had 30 minutes until the appointment time. I got off at Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line and saw a SUBWAY nearby. It had been a while, maybe 5 years since I last had it. There is no SUBWAY near my home, so I always miss out on it. I chose the BLT this day. It happened to be part of today's set, including a drink for 500 yen. I chose the Honey Oat bread and asked for no onions because I don't like them. But when I received the BLT, it had double the amount of onions. I don't know what they misunderstood. Of course, as an adult, I removed them myself. But the taste was delicious. I still love it.

I usually get takeout for lunch. Subway Akasaka Metropia store, located right in front of Akasaka Station Exit 1, B1F of Biz Tower. There are many fast food restaurants in Akasaka, but this is probably the healthiest option. It's always crowded during lunchtime, so I always go in the morning when I want to use Subway. I buy it on my way to work and have it for lunch. The potato chips are only available after 10:30, but the regular sandwiches are available in the morning. Today, April 27th (Friday), there was an extra amount of vegetables that you can stuff in the sandwich! It's about three times more than usual, I think. I always ask for extra vegetables, but today, they really piled them on (laughs). The price is the same as usual. The Cheese Roast Chicken sandwich costs 490 yen. The calorie count is usually 323kcal, but with the extra vegetables, it's probably fine since they are vegetables, right? I chose honey oat bread and added more vegetables except for pickles. The staff recommended adding extra dressing since adding more vegetables might make the taste weaker, but I declined to add dressing because I want to reduce salt intake. The tomatoes were juicy and the onions were not bitter. The combination of cheese cream and the freshness of the vegetables made me very satisfied! The unlimited vegetable offer ends when they run out of vegetables. I also received an encore ticket that allows me to have unlimited vegetables until May 8th (Wednesday), which made me happy. Lately, I feel like I've been lucky because the staff's customer service has been good too. Thank you for the meal!

I probably haven't eaten here in about 3 years. I got off at Akasaka Station and was looking for something light to eat, so I decided to go in when I saw this shop. I've always liked Subway, but I don't have many opportunities to eat it. It's not something I specifically go out to eat. I like that you can choose your bread, vegetables, and dressing, it's very American. This time, I had prosciutto and mascarpone on white toast without olives, with basil sauce. I also got minestrone. It was delicious and satisfying, but since I don't know when I'll be able to come back again, I should have just gone with my favorite, the BLT.

Pre-concert meal at Akasaka BLITZ. I've only been to Subway once or twice before. I've tried the shrimp avocado sandwich before. Usually, I crave "meat", but since it's before a concert, I wanted something not too heavy, so I went for the BLT sandwich for 410 yen, with an iced coffee for 160 yen and potato chips for 160 yen as a set. Later, I realized there was a weekday special set. Since it was a Monday, they had a roast ham sandwich with a drink set for 500 yen, a potato chips set for 500 yen, and a drink and potato chips set for 660 yen, which was a good deal. I chose the limited edition pumpkin seed bread, which made me happy. It seemed like the potato chips weren't ready because it took about 15 minutes to get them. The freshly fried potato chips were delicious. The sandwich had bacon in it, but the volume was a bit small. I think I need a sandwich with more meat to be satisfied. The bread had pumpkin seeds on it, making it slightly sweet. Currently, the recommended sandwich is the prosciutto and pumpkin. The pumpkin salad looks very delicious.

Visit during a weekday lunch. Subway located in the basement of the Biz Tower, just outside the Akasaka station exit towards Ichigokaido. A popular spot where there is always a line during lunchtime peak hours. The weekday limited-time special menu is back! Subway is the go-to place when you want a healthy, budget-friendly, and filling lunch. They offer a weekday limited set with a fixed menu for each day of the week, including a drink or French fries, all for a set price of 500 yen including tax, which is very affordable. I thought they only had regular-priced menu items after the previous "Value Subway" promotion ended, so I was lucky. Furthermore, this day was called "HAPPY DAY," where you could choose any sandwich from the weekday menu from Monday to Friday. Despite the line extending outside, surprisingly many people seemed to order their favorites rather than the set, so it may not affect the queue much? I opted for the weekday limited set. Roast chicken + oven potato at the weekday special set price of 500 yen. I chose my favorite Honey Oat toast for the bread, with plenty of vegetables. The recommended dressing was Honey Mustard to complement the sandwich. The base calorie count was 274kcal, and I added more vegetables, making it very low in calories. The potato was a bit salty, but for being baked instead of fried, it provided a satisfying flavor. I chose the basil flavor, which was 162kcal. The customer service varied, with some inconsistencies in my experience. There was a time when my sandwich order got mixed up with another customer's, but lately, they have been showing the finished sandwich before wrapping it, and on this day, a friendly and cheerful large man's service made the sandwich look very appetizing. Although it's a chain restaurant found everywhere, I hope it doesn't disappear from Akasaka. Thank you for the meal!

Subway located in front of the Akasaka station on the Chiyoda Line. I visited on a Saturday afternoon. I tried the Avocado Veggie sandwich. It consists of avocado paste and a variety of vegetables. As a Subway fan, I visit Subway in many places, but even though they use the same ingredients and cooking methods, the taste varies slightly. The Subway in Akasaka has a nice vibe. The bread was perfectly toasted, and the balance of vegetables I requested was great. The staff worked efficiently and courteously, managing the small shop with just two people. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal~.
