Last October, I visited the casual Chinese restaurant Masara with some close friends on a holiday. The small dishes were all delicious with gentle flavors, and we enjoyed being able to order a la carte as well as courses. It's a great place for dates, business meals, or even dining alone. Thank you for the wonderful meal. Note: It's also nice that you can charge your phone under the counter! #Masara #ChineseFood #CounterChinese #Azabujuban #AzabujubanGourmet #TokyoGourmet #ChineseFoodLover #WantToConnectWithChineseFoodLovers #WantToConnectWithPeopleWhoLoveDeliciousFood #LikeMe #FollowMe #InstaFood #InstaGood

The atmosphere is great. It's casual yet stylish and sophisticated. The dishes have just the right amount of volume and are impressive. Not mind-blowing, but well-balanced with no disappointments. The soup was the most delicious. Choosing this place for a second or third date would make you look effortlessly cool, and it would also be great for a ladies' night out.

The format of ringing the intercom and being let in gives a cozy feeling as if visiting a friend's house. The counter seats around the kitchen have a lively atmosphere. The shark fin soup and shark fin clay pot rice were delicious. They also have a good selection of wines from various countries, perfect for casually enjoying shark fin and wine. The clientele is also calm and easy to interact with due to the location.

I visited "Majimono" for the first time, which I had been curious about and is conveniently located near Asakusa Station. Even before entering the restaurant, I could sense a good atmosphere, and upon opening the door, I was greeted by a chic ambiance that filled me with excitement for the upcoming meal. I took a seat at the counter and opted for the "Majimono Course" as my meal. Although it is Chinese cuisine, all the dishes were light and not oily. One of the dishes was Black Vinegar Sweet and Sour Pork, which was cooked perfectly. The wine paired well with the dishes, enhancing the deliciousness of the food. I had a great time enjoying the delicious food. The atmosphere, food, and service were all excellent. I will definitely visit again.

I went to a hidden gem apartment near Asakusa Juuban. I called 201 at the auto-lock entrance and entered. There was one private room and a small main counter in the narrow restaurant. The distance to the kitchen was close, allowing for enjoyable conversations. This time, I ordered the appetizer course and pairing. In addition to the dishes in the photos, I had a set of champagne, white wine, Shaoxing wine, and red wine. Since the amount of alcohol was a bit small for a drinker like me, I inserted two beers in between, which was just right. The dishes were excellent with the alcohol! The texture of the premium jellyfish in the first dish was amazing. Personally, I preferred the cold dishes in terms of taste. I will visit again.

Second time repeating the true dish. I couldn't stop my chopsticks from the appetizers. This is a must-eat every time. On this day, there were gorgeous asparagus in season, so I ordered it. The stir-fried eggplant and pork dish is definitely delicious. And the squid. The squid here has the ultimate texture that I seek - not tough but with a satisfying bite. Lastly, this time I finished with tantan noodles instead of chicken soba. It's great that you can adjust the amount of noodles here. I still want to go to this restaurant with a fresh mindset, just like its name suggests.

I was taken to a Chinese restaurant by my junior that felt like a secret hideout. It was a small place with mainly counter seats, and my favorite part was the live kitchen right in front of me. Eating food prepared right in front of me made it taste even better. But honestly, every dish was delicious! The Qingdao Beer Gold also paired perfectly with the food and was amazing!

I had a 5,800 yen course for dinner. For drinks, I had a pairing of champagne, white wine, and red wine for 4,900 yen. The meal was delicious and the atmosphere and staff at the restaurant were lovely! It has a hidden gem vibe and is recommended for dates or girls' night out. It was great to enjoy a Chinese course at a good value. Being able to eat little by little was nice. All the pairings were delicious and had a pleasant aroma. I particularly liked the Shaoxing wine aged in barrels. 10,700 yen per person.

The Chinese food here is light and not greasy, even the fried dishes. The scallops are thick and the Wagyu beef is sweet. The burnt rice has a whole piece of shark fin and a large abalone. All the appetizers were great too. The almond jelly is expensive at 10,000 yen with a drink, but overall, it was a pretty good meal.

I found this place, Shinzara, on Google Maps at the beginning of 2320 and was intrigued. I had a feeling it would be delicious, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. The buzzer system at the entrance added to the hidden gem vibe, which I loved. I started with the assorted appetizers and felt like having a jar of Shaoxing wine, which was a great choice. The saliva chicken, Shaoxing wine-marinated beef were irresistible. The next dish, prawn stir-fried with black pepper sauce, was perfectly balanced and had me in ecstasy. Following that, the stir-fried mushrooms, eggplant, and pork were also incredibly delicious. When asked for the last order, I went for scallop and chicken stew soba, which knocked me out. Even though we shared the soba between two people, we were stuffed, and adding black pepper for flavor enhancement left us completely satisfied. I am thrilled to have found such a wonderful restaurant and will definitely be coming back. The flexible menu adjustments and the subtle, soothing service from the staff made for a truly enjoyable experience.

I ordered the 10,000 yen course. The pacing of the dishes being served was too slow, so I got a bit tired. The course included: Appetizers of marinated beef, rolled shrimp, drooling chicken, and carrot chips; Zuwai crab and shark fin soup; Peking duck; Scallops with Chinese chives stir-fry; Black vinegar sweet and sour pork; Tan Tan noodles; Vanilla ice cream.

A Chinese restaurant opened in Sendaizaka Shimo in October 2022. It is located on the second floor of a building a little off the beaten path, so you might not notice it if you didn't know. You have to ring the intercom to enter. There is a counter, two tables, and a private room. The interior is stylish and lovely, although a bit cramped. I had the lunch special of spicy stir-fried black vinegar chicken (1,600 yen). It was a bit pricey, but the meat was tender and the seasoning was delicious! Dinner seems promising as well. Money spent: 1,600 yen Rating: 4 points 5 points: Definitely want to revisit! 4 points: Would like to revisit if given the chance! 3 points: Would consider revisiting. 2 points: Once is enough. 1 point: No need to go.

The South Azabu area is a bit lively. Located near the former Nihon-Do Pharmacy (now Nippon Pharmacy Azabu-Juban store) and the surprising vegetable shop. The second floor of ROMANO, where you can still catch a hint of the bubble era. It's a so-called mansion restaurant where you press the room number on the intercom to enter. The entrance looks just like a regular apartment building. You have to climb the stairs to the second floor. There are about 6 seats at the counter, 2 sofa seats for 3-4 people each, and 5-6 small private rooms near the entrance. It's a trendy Chinese restaurant. Dinner is course-only until 8:00 pm. The most casual course is 5,500 yen, which includes dessert, so it's not bad. This time, it was a treat from Eka-sama. Eka-sama, who went straight for the Taittinger bottle. What a cool guy. The appetizer platter (spring rolls and dumplings), steamed fish (was it sea bream?), stir-fried beef, simple egg fried rice, almond tofu, and a moderate progression. It's delicious, but the impression is a bit light, honestly. The beer was a small bottle of Black Label. As a beer lover, it's a bit of a letdown when you can't have draft beer. With its hidden gem-like setup, focus on wine, casual and easy-to-eat Chinese courses, this place is perfect for gatherings like girls' night out. Recommended for those who want to be told, "Oh, I didn't know there was such a place."

This is a creative Chinese restaurant with a bar-like atmosphere on the second floor of a building in Minami-Azabu residential area. I visited for lunch and enjoyed their unique twist on classic dishes. I ordered the tantanmen, which had a distinct sesame flavor that was fragrant, not too spicy, and just the right amount of heat. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I had the lunch course + ordered Peking Duck. The saliva chicken, fried dumplings, Peking Duck, dan dan noodles, and stir-fried eggplant were all delicious. The saliva chicken and fried dumplings were too good. A restaurant you can look forward to. The Peking Duck was also delicious. The dan dan noodles were mild. Even though I am getting older, I could eat it gently, it was a gentle taste. I wanted a bit more spiciness and richness in the dan dan noodles, but it was delicious. The stir-fried eggplant came with pickled vegetables, white rice, and soup.
