Here is a cafe located along the road of Jindai Botanical Park near the intersection of Jindaiji Gosaka. The nearest stations are Fuda Station and Tsutsujigaoka Station. It used to be a Sanmark restaurant but now it has been transformed into a cafe by Monogatari Corporation, which opened on June 30th. I happened to have some business in Chofu that day, so I decided to make a little detour and visit the cafe. When I arrived around 2 PM, there was already a line forming. Although there were no solo customers, I decided to wait in line since I was already there. At the entrance, there were fruit jellies and seasonal fruits displayed. Perhaps they were for souvenirs? I was interested in the freshly squeezed Mont Blanc with mango, so I chose that. Despite the hot weather, I initially thought of getting a cold drink, but the cups looked nice so I opted for a blended drink. I hadn't eaten anything all morning, so I also ordered an egg sandwich. Although I wanted a half-size, they only had full or half & half options. I thought I could manage a full-size egg sandwich, but it turned out to be a bit too much. The freshly squeezed Mont Blanc was prepared right in front of me with a juicer, which I really enjoyed. The combination of Mont Blanc and mango was surprisingly delicious, with the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. The interior of the cafe had a nice atmosphere with 4-person and 2-person seats near the walls, a pleasant terrace, and family-friendly 4-person tables. The wooden beam ceiling was to my liking, and the walls had a nice touch as well. It seems like it could get crowded on weekends with locals, as there aren't many big shops nearby.

There is no nearest station. Take a bus from Chofu Station, Tsutsujigaoka Station, Mitaka Station, or Kichijoji Station and get off at Nishihara bus stop. The restaurant is located at the corner of Fuchuji Gosaro intersection where Mitaka Street and Jindai Botanical Garden Street intersect. It used to be a San Marco restaurant, but the building exterior and interior have changed significantly and there is no trace of the past. When I visited around 2 pm on a weekday, the restaurant was almost full and I had to wait for about 20 minutes. Most of the customers were women, and it seems that many of them are looking for Instagrammable sweets (especially Mont Blanc). Although they also have a Mont Blanc cream squeezing machine, I was really hungry and looking for something to eat, so I opted for a meal. I chose the Sausage and Hotel Omelette for 1190 yen. Although it may seem expensive, the omelette was homemade and well-made, and the toast was made in-house with butter, not cheap margarine. Each item on the plate seemed to be made with care, not just thawed from commercial frozen products. The attention to detail in the preparation was evident. The hospitality of the wait staff towards customers was also great. Just be prepared to wait because it tends to get crowded.

I came here because I was curious about it. It's close to my house, but the access might be a bit difficult, haha. They had a wide variety of sandwiches, French toasts, omelet plates, Mont Blanc, and more. I ordered the Banana and Egg Half and Half Sandwich, and the Omelet Plate. The sandwiches were delicious, with the banana being subtly sweet and refreshing, and the egg having a rich flavor. They didn't rely on condiments, and you could taste the natural flavors of the ingredients. The Omelet Plate was very filling, with salad, yogurt, sausages, thick buttered toast, and a generous omelet on top. Everything had a familiar, homey taste that was simply delicious. The interior of the restaurant was spacious, bright, and cozy.

This is my second visit. I asked for a sandwich to go, can I have one more? Of course, ^_^ I'm happy. Good to hear. They packed the extra sandwich in a plastic bag for me. At 10:40, people started coming in and the restaurant suddenly got noisy. It's okay because I have the best seat in the corner. Good thing. By 11 o'clock, it was really crowded. This place is best for morning time. The moms and staff are very nice. At 11:10, it was already full and there was a line. I ordered the same sandwich as before and it came quickly. The bread felt a bit dry and the crab salad was a bit salty. The second visit was a little disappointing. The parking lot is spacious and the seating is comfortable. I would like to come back for breakfast. There is no breakfast set even during morning time, but...

I found out about the change from the original San Marco to this new one thanks to the review from Eko Daneko and Tat. The second term of kindergarten has started. I can't stop laughing. Let's go try it while the kids are at kindergarten. The greenery and the white noren curtains used in abundance in the architecture create a calming atmosphere. The terrace seats have fans placed, making it stylish. It's clean, spacious, and has a sense of openness. Let's check out the menu. They have sandwiches, various breakfast sets, parfaits, freshly squeezed juices, Mont Blanc, and more. My daughter has been obsessed with Mont Blanc ever since she tried it in Ibaraki. It's great that they open at 8 in the morning. The "Half & Half" sandwich with the famous crab salad, egg set, ice coffee, soup, and drink set is a great choice. The lettuce is crunchy, the eggs are plentiful, and the Margherita with mozzarella and tomato is piping hot. They freshly squeeze the Mont Blanc in front of you, and a cute high school girl shyly squeezed it for me. The coffee is delicious, and they offer a half-price refill from the second cup, which is a nice service. I heard that it's run by the company that owns Yakiniku King and Marugen (ramen). I really liked it and will come back again. Fruit Shop Coffee's commitment is to use carefully selected seasonal fruits and domestically grown wheat to make sandwiches with moist homemade bread made using the Yudane method.

I ordered a half & half sandwich with pastrami and shrimp cutlet. It cost around 1300-1400 yen. The pastrami was average, nothing special. The shrimp cutlet was crispy, warm, and delicious.

Fruits Coffee Chofu-Fuchu Daidera Store. The interior is bright, with high ceilings and a sense of openness. If the weather is good, the terrace seats might be nice too. The staff are all refreshing and make you feel a little younger. I chose a sandwich this time, although the omelette also looked delicious. I ordered a few half & half menu items with my partner. The half & half option includes two types of sandwiches, each with two pieces on a plate, so we split them in half and tried each one. The pastrami was just okay, but the others were delicious. I think egg sandwiches taste the same no matter who makes them, but in reality, they are different. The shrimp cutlet and crab salad were amazing. The fruit sandwich on the sign was quite filling. The mango was so delicious. I thought I ate it all, but then I realized I was quite full. Well, it's too late to worry about calories now. Enjoy your meal!

I visited a restaurant that I had been curious about for a while. The location is near Jindai Botanical Park. It used to be a Saint Marc Café. The entrance is easy to access without many steps. Inside the restaurant, there was a short wait to be seated, but it was not too long. I ordered the recommended crab salad sandwich and fruit mix sandwich, along with an iced tea. The sandwiches were delicious with generous fillings. The crab salad sandwich had a good amount of crab meat and a refreshing taste. The fruit mix sandwich was light and had a nice balance of sweetness with fruits like pineapple, strawberry, kiwi, and orange. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and would like to try other sandwiches on the menu in the future. They also offer takeout options for sandwiches, fruit jellies, and bread, which could be great as souvenirs.

It was in the midst of the hot summer, but I chose to sit on the terrace. It was steamy hot, but still manageable. The staff provided fans and were attentive, making the experience pleasant. Both the crab salad and fruit sandwich had plenty of ingredients and were satisfying. I wanted to try the seasonal mango sandwich too. There was only one restroom located in the back. I will definitely visit again for a relaxing time.

I visited the restaurant about a month after it opened. Despite the wait, the atmosphere was good with a nice view and self-service fruit water. I ordered a half & half sandwich which came quickly, followed by a blend coffee. The sandwich was delicious with plenty of filling, though it may look like a large portion at first. Overall, I was satisfied with the atmosphere, food, and price. They also offer free Wi-Fi.

The cafe specializes in sweets and offers a variety of options including fruit sandwiches and freshly squeezed Mont Blanc. The recommended fruit sandwich is a mix of fruits like strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, and oranges, each with a unique texture and flavor. The sandwich is made with soft, moist bread and rich mascarpone cream, providing a deliciously sweet experience. The orange is juicy with a crunchy texture and a refreshing sweet and sour taste. Overall, the food was delicious and satisfying. The cafe, operated by Monogatari Corporation, is a rare find on the roadside. They offer a variety of options including meal sandwiches, toast, French toast, freshly squeezed Mont Blanc, and parfaits. This review is based on an article from Nikkei MJ published on July 12, 2023.

Fruits Coffee Fuchu Shodaiji Store @ Chofu City, Tokyo @ Cafe, Sandwich Located on the northeast side of the lush Shodaiji, in the middle of Chofu Station on the Keio Line and Mitaka Station on the JR Chuo Line, this cafe specializes in fruit sandwiches and parfaits that are popular. It is situated on Shodaiji 5-sairo, right in front of Shodaiji Park and a dog run, a green area, but it is far from the station and requires access by car or bus. Therefore, a large parking lot is available next to and behind the shop. This used to be a Saint Marc Cafe, but it reopened on June 30, 2023, as the first store of the new business style by Monogatari Corporation, which operates Yakiniku King and Marugen Ramen. There is a terrace seat with a wooden deck next to the entrance, which is nice, but due to the heat, there are no customers using it. The interior, protected by double doors, is bright with windows on two sides, and the neatly arranged box seats create a calm atmosphere. Immediately at the entrance, there is a showcase for takeout, displaying sandwiches and jellies. Homemade bread is also sold here. Behind that is the bread-making space. With a large open kitchen, a surprisingly large number of staff are busy working. Since the opening, there have been noticeable queues outside, but today there was no one, and luckily, I parked my car in the only empty parking space and entered the store, only to be surprised! Inside, there were six groups waiting. Well, with this number of people, I decided to wait, but even after 15 minutes, there was no progress at all. I see, the interior is too comfortable, and since it is also a coffee shop, everyone seems to stay for a long time. After waiting for 20 minutes, I decided that waiting was not going to work and bought three sandwiches from the showcase for takeout. Shrimp Cutlet Sandwich 745 Crab Salad Sandwich 691 Fruit Mix Sandwich 637 As the main products are fruit sandwiches and crab salad sandwiches, both were delicious and satisfying sandwiches. They open at 8:00 in the morning, so next time, I would like to aim for the morning and enjoy coffee and sweets. Recommended Rating ★★★★★ Parking Lot: Large free parking lot next to and behind the store Visit Date: August 3, 2023, Lunchtime Business Hours: 08:00-18:00 Takeout: Available Regular Holiday: None Smoking: Completely Non-Smoking Credit Card: Accepted Electronic Money: Available, PayPay Possible Point Card: None Free WiFi: Available Power Outlets at Seats: Repeat Possibility: High

I came to Fruit Cafe for the first time! It opened at 8 o'clock, and there were about 15 people lined up, but I was able to enter smoothly! My wife and I shared a half set, so we were able to try four different types of dishes! My recommendation is the shrimp cutlet! (o^^o) The iced coffee is also delicious! Truly a great coffee shop!

This shop, located where Sanmark used to be, seems to be a trendy fruit cafe with a focus on fruit sandwiches and fruit-based desserts. I ordered a half-and-half of a fruit sandwich and the famous crab salad sandwich, along with the Fruit Parfait from the fruit shop. The fruit sandwich contained plenty of fresh cream and a variety of fruits such as mandarin oranges, kiwi, strawberries, and pineapples. The cream was not too sweet, complementing the slightly sour fruits perfectly. The crab salad sandwich had generous fillings, but I wished there was more crab meat. Finally, the Fruit Parfait was a visually stunning dessert with an abundance of fruits like pineapples, mangoes, oranges, kiwis, strawberries, and caramelized bananas. Beneath the fruits was whipped cream used in the sandwich, followed by a generous amount of cassis sorbet and orange jelly. With such generous servings, it definitely fills you up. Despite being close to closing time, the shop was bustling with customers enjoying their meals. I'm thinking of trying the Mont Blanc next time.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. There were about 5 to 6 weddings happening. The terrace seats were available, but it was too hot to sit outside. The bright and spacious interior with a touch of Japanese style was pleasant. I decided not to try their freshly squeezed Mont Blanc due to concerns about my blood sugar, so I ordered their popular crab salad sandwich in tuna and half & half. However, I thought it was a bit expensive for a sandwich to cost over a thousand yen. The blended coffee, which they claim to be particular about the beans, didn't taste exceptionally good. The coffee and sandwich together cost 1,692 yen. I tried it for the first time, but it was just okay. I feel like Komeda Coffee offers a better variety of food at a slightly lower price. The ambiance seems to reflect the higher price here. However, the staff were well-trained and provided good service.

The store had just opened so it was crowded. I arrived at 13:30 on a holiday and had to wait for about 30 minutes. However, the staff guided us to our seats so we could wait comfortably. I ordered a fruit sandwich, egg sandwich, Mont Blanc, coffee, and cafe latte. The egg sandwich was rich and delicious. The fruit sandwich was decent. The Mont Blanc was made in front of us, with the cream swirled on top which was exciting. It was also delicious. They also offer meal options like shrimp cutlet sandwich and pizza toast. The interior of the store is spacious and relaxing. I would like to go again. Thank you for the meal.

The famous crab stick sandwich was different from the menu photo. The crab sticks were chopped too finely. The combination of egg, tuna, and crab stick was boring and got tiring. The shrimp cutlet sandwich was delicious. The fruit blend was well-balanced and good. It would be nice to have heavier coffee options to consider when having dessert. The fruit parfait had seasonal mango and was delicious. The staff were cheerful, friendly, and lovely. The atmosphere was relaxing and nice.

At the end of the year, a place that used to be San Marco was cleared out and I was wondering what it would become. And now, a fruit cafe called "Kajyu Coffee" has opened there in late June. I visited the shop for the first time, even though it was a bit crowded. I had to wait for about 10 minutes before being seated, but the atmosphere was relaxed. I ordered a fruit sandwich and a generous pastrami sandwich (1,180 yen), as well as an ebi katsu and ripe banana sandwich (1,130 yen) with a drink set (+110 yen for an iced cafe latte). The fruit-infused water they provided was refreshing. The iced cafe latte was interesting with its frothy texture and milky taste. The sandwiches had a good amount of filling. The ebi katsu sandwich was delicious and the pastrami sandwich was enjoyable as well. The ripe banana sandwich was particularly good, with the sweetness of the banana balancing the creaminess. Lastly, the fruit sandwich was satisfying, as the fruits were fresh and tasty. Overall, the sandwiches were delicious, but the value for money might not be the best. If you visit occasionally, it's worth a try.

The cafe specializes in fruit sandwiches and parfaits, and although I had high expectations due to the recent trend in such cafes, the food was just average. I arrived at the shop around 11 am by car and had to wait for about 20 minutes. The atmosphere of the shop was quite nice, with plenty of staff working efficiently, especially the young part-time workers. I ordered the recommended fruit sandwich, crab salad sandwich, fruit parfait, and a hot Earl Grey tea. It was a bit pricey, so I wouldn't recommend it to family or friends... maybe I expected too much. Thank you for the meal.

Fruit Shop Coffee 042-452-8868 1-1-1 Higashimachi, Jindaiji, Chofu City, Tokyo This cafe, which just opened on June 30th, is located about a 10-minute bus ride from Chofu Station towards Kichijoji. It offers both takeout and eat-in options, with terrace seating available. At the entrance, you can see a refrigerated showcase with takeout items, and in the back, you can watch bread being baked in the glass-walled kitchen. Despite being newly opened, we didn't have to wait long to be seated. Self-service fruit water is available, and the freshly squeezed Mont Blanc dessert for 1,639 yen is a must-try! Other menu items include a thick and juicy pork cutlet sandwich for 1,199 yen, a ripe banana and fruit mix for 1,133 yen, and French toast with chocolate, ripe banana, and cream for 1,199 yen. The Mont Blanc dessert has a natural sweetness and elegant flavor, while the pork cutlet sandwich is delicious and highly recommended. The sandwich options range from savory to sweet, allowing you to choose based on your mood. The French toast is fluffy and delicious, with caramelized bananas adding a crispy texture and a hint of bitterness. Overall, a great place for lunch or a sweet treat in Chofu!

Opened on June 30, 2023. It seems to be the first cafe of the same group as Yakiniku King and Yuzu-an. On the opening day, it was extremely crowded as expected, with no time or space to enjoy the atmosphere. So, I got a pineapple jelly and a slice of bread to go. The cafe seems to have a lot of fruit-related items, as the name suggests. They also serve morning sets. The jelly had chunks of pineapple in it. The jelly itself was sweet and refreshing. It was delicious. The bread is not for eating raw. When toasted, the crust was crispy and the inside was fluffy. It was quite tasty.
