[2020/05/26] Shopping at Seijo Ishii inside Tri-Ena. I bought Chinese chimaki and spicy mapo water dumplings. Since the rice I cooked yesterday seems like it will be left over halfway today, I decided to replenish the chimaki to skip cooking rice tomorrow. I also found these spicy water dumplings for the first time. They are delicious with the mapo tofu sauce on the dumplings! The dumplings have a chewy skin and a filling without any unpleasant taste, combined with Seijo Ishii's mapo tofu sauce, it's definitely delicious! As for the chimaki, the pork was finely chopped, which was a bit different from what I expected, but it had a nice shiitake flavor. (The next day...) [2020/05/06] Last week, I bought the newly released pita bread from Seijo Ishii for lunch. I used it to make pita sandwiches. If you microwave it for about 10 seconds, it becomes moist and the pocket opens easily. It doesn't last long, but it's convenient with 3 pieces in a pack. I also bought a cheese assortment set, a 7-item antipasto, and Inca no Mezame fried potatoes. The cheese set contains 4 different types of cheese with varying flavors, which is nice. The blue cheese was not too strong and easy to eat. The antipasto set has a variety of items in small portions, giving a sense of value. The Inca no Mezame fried potatoes were delicious with sweet potatoes. The day before yesterday, I stopped by Chofu (wanted to go to Daiso) and visited Seijo Ishii. The purpose was to buy bread for my father's breakfast, but I ended up buying snacks. The canele was too sweet and lacked the crispy texture I expected, but the ricotta and mascarpone blueberry cheesecake had a fluffy sponge and light cheese cream, which was delicious! I could eat a whole one by myself. (laughs) (Prefer Seria over Daiso!) [2020/04/27] After finishing errands in Chofu, I went shopping at Kobe Ya and Seijo Ishii. At Seijo Ishii, I bought Country Biscuits and Shrimp and Salmon Seafood Dakgalbi-style. Country Biscuits are basically hot biscuits, but they are convenient to keep in the refrigerator or freezer. In the evening, I microwaved Seijo Ishii's Shrimp and Salmon Seafood Dakgalbi-style. It had a slightly sweet and spicy sauce with cheese, salmon, and shrimp. Underneath, there were plenty of vegetables arranged, creating a good balance. It's easy to just microwave it and it's convenient. I thought the flavor might be a bit strong, but it turned out just right when combined with the steamed vegetables. Ah, it's well made. Last time, I bought Black Wagyu Chapchae, which was also quick and easy to microwave. It helped reduce the household chores during home time. (Home time)
