Yudetaro Autumn Training (Coupon Distribution) is halfway through the period and entering the second half on the 6th day. I had the Mini Nori Bento Set today. The fried food was delicious and freshly fried. I didn't realize how tasty white fish fry could be when freshly fried. It's different from the white fish fry in convenience store bento boxes. The soba noodles were as delicious as always, never failing to meet expectations. Grateful for the consistently delicious taste.

Today is the 5th day of Yudetaro's autumn training (coupon distribution). I thought, "If I always get freshly fried food at the Rokunana Nishimizue store, why not try the mini torikara don set?" I handed over my meal ticket and in about 10 minutes, my order was ready. The wait time was a bit long because they fry each item freshly. I sprinkled some tempura crumbs, added a packet of wasabi, and took my usual seat. First, I tried the freshly fried torikara... Delicious! The crispy coating and juicy chicken were so tasty. It was unbelievably delicious because it was freshly fried. I also enjoyed the chopped seaweed and the rice in the bowl. The classic soba noodles were also delicious with a great texture. The combination with chikuwa tempura was perfect! Yudetaro was completely satisfied, even after visiting every day.

After ordering at the counter, your meal ticket number will be called in about 5-6 minutes. Receive your tray and take a seat at the usual spot by the counter. Let's start with the San Ebi Tempura Rice Bowl. The tempura shrimp is crispy and delicious as always. Grateful for the freshly fried tempura. Enjoy the tempura shrimp, okra tempura, and rice, finishing it all in no time. Finish off with some soba noodles. Mixing the tempura bits into the soba and slurping it up! Enjoy the smooth texture of the Edo-style soba noodles (Yuudetarou's own creation). The soba noodles and soup are perfectly balanced and tasty. Keep slurping happily until finishing the meal. Lastly, add some hot water to the remaining soup and enjoy the warmth. Once again, I have thoroughly enjoyed the consistent quality of Yuudetarou.

Yudetaro's autumn coupon distribution period is on the second day. The Mini San Ebi Tempura Don Set is a great deal on Mondays and Saturdays. The tempura shrimp in the Mini San Ebi Tempura Don is crispy and delicious. The okra is small but has a good okra flavor. The soba noodles have a great texture as always! It's nice that you can change the flavor with tenkasu. Now, I wonder how many more days I can continue my autumn training?

I went to Yudetaro because the autumn training period (coupon distribution) has started. This month's special set is the Mini Nori Bento Set. I ordered it from the ticket machine and handed the food ticket to the counter. While waiting for my order, I noticed autumn coupon tickets on the trays of those waiting in line. Yudetaro fries each item individually, so I waited until my food ticket number was called. I received my Tempura Soba, added some wasabi, and sat down. The Mini Nori Bento Set looked great for ¥580. Time to dig in! First, I tried the soba noodles. They were thin and firm, with a great texture. Yudetaro's soba is really delicious. Next, I tried the white fish fry. It was crispy and light, and tasted great. The tempura was also delicious. The katsuobushi rice was tasty too. I dipped the chikuwa tempura in the soba broth. It had a nice crunchy texture and was delicious. I quickly finished my meal and was very satisfied with the Mini Nori Bento Set.

Breakfast revisited with the appearance of Motsujiro. As expected, I chose the boiled Taro morning set. The warm soba and mackerel rice were just under a coin, despite the price increase. The soba was perfectly cooked, just right. It tasted better than last time. It was a shame that the mackerel was a bit tough. If it had been flaked and given a little extra attention, it would have been even more delicious. Thank you for the meal.

It's still May but the temperature is already reaching 30℃... The weather makes you sweat just from walking a little. On hot days, you feel like eating cold soba, so I headed to Yudetaro! I arrived at 12:30, hoping it's not too crowded. I ordered the Ebi Tempura and Shiitake Tempura Set with a large serving of soba. Yudetaro fries the tempura as you order, so I only had to wait for about 5 minutes before my order number was called. The finely cut soba at Yudetaro is always good. I mixed wasabi into the soba broth and took a sip... delicious. The texture is also nice. The Shiitake Tempura was crispy and tasty. However, the Ebi Tempura... I felt like the batter used to be thinner before. It was a bit disappointing. I quickly slurped up the soba, finished the tempura bowl, and it was all gone in no time. The Ebi Tempura was the only thing that was a bit of a letdown.

I went to a nearby car accessory store on the third day of the New Year. Surprisingly, there were quite a few customers inside. The store also offers the menu of "Motsu Jiro" which you can eat. This time, I had the morning menu, grilled and shredded mackerel set meal. It was delicious, especially with the large seaweed included. Since I missed out on eating soba on New Year's Eve, it tasted even better! Just like the old saying goes, "Curry is great too, not just New Year's dishes!" I agree. Once again, thank you for the meal!

I visited around 9:30 in the morning and had the breakfast natto set for 450 yen. There was a coupon for kakiage and self-service for tempura flakes. There were 6 customers before me and 4 customers after me. There were 3 staff members, including an older sister and father. Each table had customers, but it didn't feel crowded. The New Year's holiday business hours are posted on the official website.

I had the motsu set meal at a roadside restaurant in Tokyo, called Yudetaro Joushu Motsu Jiro Akagi Garigari-kun. The sesame and chili seasoning, similar to kan-zuri, was delicious. I really like kan-zuri. It's nice how it's left out in the snow. I'll give extra points for the seasoning. Thank you for taking care of me in the late night or early morning. Thank you.

I ordered the large serving of cold seasoned soba with a 600 yen coupon. When I asked for a refill of the soba broth at the counter, they poured me a cupful directly into my soba dish, unlike the Kashiwa branch where they gave me a cup of broth. It was a bit disappointing to see that the tempura bits at the counter were sparse and not crispy, with a stale oil taste. The eggplant was freshly fried and tasted good. The cold seasoned soba with seaweed and the beef tripe stew were disappointing - the stew was bland and lukewarm. The beef tripe stew was overpriced at 440 yen. However, it was nice that each person got their own coupon here, unlike at the Kashiwa branch where we only got one coupon for two people.

I had almost entirely shrimp tempura soba with a mini nori bento. The mini nori bento is a limited-time offer with a discount of ¥100, making it ¥230. It's surprisingly cheap! And the white fish fry and chikuwa tempura were freshly fried! The white fish fry was so hot that I almost burned myself! The shrimp in the almost entirely shrimp tempura was juicy and crispy, very delicious. Of course, the soba was also delicious with its three toppings.

Today, I was in the mood for a hearty soba meal. So, I decided to head to the Kado-Nanakawa store of Yudetarou, a short walk from Ichinoe Station. I bought a meal ticket, waited a bit, and then was called by my ticket number to pick up my order at the counter. I grabbed a tray, added lots of tempura to my soba broth, and then sat down. The soba special size... was it a bit too much? Well, I started by slurping the soba noodles without tempura in the cold broth, and it was delicious with its smooth texture. Soba tastes especially good on a hot day. I continued eating at a good pace, switching to the tempura soba broth when I was about halfway done. It was also delicious with a nice change in flavor. Before I knew it, I had finished my meal. Finally, I warmed up with some soba-yu (hot water for dipping) mixed with the leftover soba broth, returned my tray, and left the restaurant. I just realized today that the ticket machine accepts 2000 yen bills.

For the sake of my health, I have been going for a walk in the early morning around 5 am for the past month. My goal is to reach 10,000 steps a day, and on my way back home, I usually stop by Yudetaro for breakfast. Last time, I ended up going to Motsujirou, but this time I'm going to have some proper soba noodles! Yudetaro is known for having the highest soba flour content (65%) among chain restaurants, and they make their noodles in-house, so the soba noodles are not your typical chain restaurant quality - they are incredibly delicious! To fully enjoy their soba noodles, I ordered the Tempura Soba with an extra-large portion. Yudetaro fries their tempura after you order, so there was a short wait... When I heard my order was ready, I picked up the tray and sat at a table near the entrance... First, I tried the soba noodles without dipping them in the broth. Delicious... it's beyond the level of a chain restaurant! Next, I dipped the soba noodles in the broth and tried them... it's like heaven! Then I dipped the main dish, the shrimp tempura, in the broth... "It's hot!" It was freshly fried, so it was a bit too hot for my sensitive tongue, but it was crispy and delicious. Yudetaro is definitely a must-visit for casual soba dining. Finally, I enjoyed a warm cup of soba broth before leaving the restaurant, feeling content.

I felt like having some Yude Taro soba after a long time, so I went for a walk to the Kan-nana Nishi Mizue store. The atmosphere seemed different... What is Motsu Jiro? It caught my interest, so I changed my plans and ordered the W Motsu Set Meal (930 yen). The ticket machine was also new, and one side was compatible with transportation IC cards. After handing in my ticket, the W Motsu Set Meal was served in 2-3 minutes. I sat at a seat near the entrance and took a bite of the motsu first. It was soft and delicious, with no unpleasant smell. The motsu was tasty, making me want to eat more (and the free extra rice was a nice touch). With Motsu Jiro nearby, the menu has expanded, and I wonder if it will become more popular.

On July 12, 4:35 PM, I visited Yudetaro Kandai Nishihashi store in Edogawa Ward, Tokyo for work. When I entered the store, I found out that all breakfast sets were discontinued! I was shocked but decided to order the Tempura Soba (with raw egg) for 560 yen. The staff, who seemed to be the only one working, spoke in a very polite and slow manner, similar to a JR train station attendant. After waiting for about 12 minutes, my order was finally ready. The food was delicious, although the tempura wasn't very hot. Each dish was carefully prepared. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience. Thank you. PS: Another staff member arrived just before 5 PM, so maybe they started serving breakfast sets from 5 PM onwards!

I visited Yudetarou for the first time in a while. The location is somewhere along Route 7, near Mizue. It was a hot day, so I decided to have some cold soba. I noticed the cold soba with condiments on the menu and ordered it. After a short wait, it was ready. I picked it up and took it back to my seat. I mixed it well and noticed that there was no broth visible. I couldn't see any broth at the bottom either. I thought this was strange, but decided to try it anyway. Even though there was no broth, the condiments added some flavor. I remembered having a similar experience at a soba restaurant in Kanda before. Maybe they forgot to add the broth until the end? I finished the meal without any broth. It was a strange sensation, but I will try it again next time. Thank you for the meal.

I went fishing in the morning, but it started raining so I had to stop. Feeling hungry, I went to Yudetaro for breakfast around 7:30. The restaurant was already crowded. I ordered a set meal of mackerel rice and soba. The mackerel rice had mentaiko (spicy cod roe) and pickled greens on top, which was quite good.

As everyone knows, Yudetaro's soba noodles are just average. But it's convenient when you're craving soba noodles. They have a wide variety of menu options and plenty of affordable set meals, so I think it offers good value for the price. Surprisingly, I really like Yudetaro's katsudon (pork cutlet bowl) (laughs).
