The companion found this restaurant from somewhere, and during the first visit, they only accepted reservations through Instagram messages. It seems that they are becoming more open in the future. When I followed them on Instagram, I found out that some acquaintances had already visited the place. It seems like a well-known spot for foodies in the area. The restaurant had a cute, unique entrance, and the interior had a cozy atmosphere with a counter seating arrangement. We opted for the 8-course chef's choice menu, which was priced at ¥14,300 including tax. The dishes were innovative and fusion-style French cuisine. The onion pound cake with black truffle was a standout, and the beet steak with two different sauces was delicious. The restaurant mainly served organic wines, and we enjoyed a Pinot Noir from Australia. The eel tempura dish was a pleasant surprise, especially since the eel was sourced from my hometown in Ehime. We also had the opportunity to enjoy sake from a sake brewery in Akita, which was a delightful experience. The Hiroshima bread was excellent, and the spinach risotto had a nice balance of flavors. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience, and I would recommend this restaurant to others.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on a friend's recommendation. I paired the wines with the dishes, and all of them were delicious and enjoyable. Each dish had its own unique touch and was tasty, especially the main meat dish. I would love to try their pasta next time.

I went to a recommended restaurant by Mr. Watabe! When I opened the slightly suspicious door, I found myself in a cozy interior with a counter lit by dim downlights, where deep house music was playing in the background. The atmosphere was stylish and the attentive service from the staff was pleasant. The dishes, prepared with heartfelt care by the friendly couple and the producers, were not about expensive ingredients or big names, but about making you feel good. It was a wonderful restaurant that left me feeling happy.

Exactly one year ago, in May 2022, a restaurant opened in the Platinum area, a little off Route 305. The storefront looks like a restaurant, but once you step inside, you enter the unique world of kermis with its interior, background music, and atmosphere. The compact entrance and interior also evoke a tea room. A friend who arranged dinner this time had met the chef NOBU, who had originally cooked at pop-up restaurants. He had been inspired by various places around the world and had been running pop-up restaurants. I had heard that he had an exciting profile. Recently, I just want to enjoy eating simply, so I deliberately don't research the restaurant or chef's profile in advance. But as expected, it was delicious! The ingredients were delicious, the cooking methods were streamlined, and the balance and sense were perfect. The baby corn fritters with kataifi texture were amazing, and the side of yuba didn't interfere with the sweetness of the corn. The grilled scales of the sea bass were satisfying just with the aroma when the dish was served, and of course, I was even more satisfied when I ate it. The duck, with asparagus, cherries, and nuts as the side dish...♡ It was heavenly, especially with Pinot Noir. I felt a special dedication and belief in each menu item being clearly labeled with the producer. The warm hospitality and the live feeling unique to open kitchens were there, but I also felt a humility from the chef and staff who didn't overly stand out. I had a wonderful time and realized that this is what a cozy restaurant is all about. - Seared mackerel and grilled eggplant with brown rice soy sauce koji (Hayashi Fresh Fish) - Zucchini/squid with yellow vegetable ratatouille puree and mixed spices (Kitayama Farm) - Baby corn fritters (53farm) - Handmade pasta with Kikuchi Gengoro beef and Taromaru pork Bolognese (Kagesawa-ya) - Grilled scales of sea bass (Hayashi Fresh Fish) - Charcoal-grilled Kyoto Nanatani duck (Yaei) - Fig and rhubarb sorbet with lemon balm jelly (ALM farm) - Chocolate terrine with raisins (Cacao Hunter)

Kermistokyo is located a little off the main street in Ebisu, heading towards Shirokane. During the day, they offer simple dishes and natural wines while preparing for their evening course menu. The atmosphere is welcoming and you can feel the attention to detail in both the food and wine selection. I enjoyed the homemade bacon and the selection of French natural wines. I look forward to visiting again for dinner next time.

Kermis, the first izakaya visit of the year! Everything was amazing again! - Japanese-style smoked eggplant with mayo: the aroma was fantastic! I hope this becomes a regular menu item! - Lamb gyoza with Alissa sauce: the spicy sauce pairs perfectly with beer! Amazing! - Kikuchi Gengou beef and daikon simmered in salt: simple simmered dish yet tastes incredibly delicious! Genius! - Grilled eel rice ball tea pickles: the menu name alone is too tempting! Amazing!

Attended a special dinner event hosted by @cadeaurouge.jp × @kermistokyo! The dinner featured a miraculous strawberry that costs 4,000 yen each! Feeling lucky to have won the lottery for one of the four sets of invitations. The atmosphere and dishes by kermis were amazing as always! The dishes using strawberries were also fantastic! The wine pairing was superb too! Received strawberries for dessert and as a souvenir with jam, making the course fee worth it just for that (lol). The risotto was especially outstanding today. The best risotto of my life!

I met you at Chaba in Nakameguro, and it was a great experience. The food was delicious, and there were new flavors to try, which made it enjoyable. I really want to try the spring roll seaweed roll again. The sorbet made from butterbur was interesting and fun to eat, completely capturing the essence of butterbur.

I finally got to eat the yakisoba I've been craving for! It was incredibly delicious! The best taste of my life! The noodles were chewy, and the sauce was rich and plentiful! The best aroma that makes you want another plate in the middle of the night. The high-quality pistachio sauce and kale ice cream, along with strawberries, were amazing. The pistachio flavor was so good! Otis's fig and blue cheese salami was also great, with the gentle sweetness of the fig. Definitely worth buying!

I came across another wonderful restaurant. A French fusion restaurant opened in May 2022 by a lovely couple who travel around various places and connect with ingredients through fate. It all started with their Onion Pound Cake (a special order from Dessert Le Contoir), which was outstanding. The combination of turnips and yellowtail (from Kitayama Farm) was excellent. The spinach risotto (from T-farm) was seasoned only with salt, and the rich flavor paired perfectly with the risotto. The black pork from Bhutan (from Nishimura) had no unpleasant smell, making it enjoyable even for those who are not fans of liver. It goes perfectly with the bread they import from Hiroshima. The grilled sea bass with coriander sauce had an exotic touch that surprisingly matched well. The deer cutlet was tender and flavorful, resembling beef but with a leaner and more delicious taste. The combination of orange sorbet with basil sauce and the chocolate terrine were also exceptional. Their dedication to sourcing high-quality ingredients and their skill in combining flavors result in truly wonderful and easy-to-enjoy dishes. This is a great spot for a dinner date, and I will definitely revisit. It has become one of my favorites.

It was a lovely shop with a warm atmosphere. We mainly went for drinks this day, so I can't evaluate the food, but I look forward to the next time. We had cheese, salami, pickles, wine, and had a great time chatting and laughing. The chef is from Robuchon, so I'm excited for the next visit.

I came to Kermis in Shirokanedai for the New Year. Normally they only offer courses, but they had a special limited opening for the New Year serving mainly appetizers. I had potato salad, simmered beef tripe, yakisoba, and oshinko. For drinks, I had Kumacola from Hokkaido, which was like a sparkling white wine with a slight cloudy sake-like taste, similar to a White Mimosa. I would like to try their course menu next time.

Christmas was the best this year, and it was the perfect place for our last meal of the year. I fell in love with this place when I visited last month and immediately made a reservation for the next time! Christmas dinner course included Onion Pound Cake for dessert, aged wild boar ham, deer consommé, ravioli, sablefish and mussel escabeche, beet steak, handmade pasta with octopus and squid, grilled domestic eel, roasted Kyoto duck, and a plate of strawberries. Everything was incredibly delicious, especially the risotto with salted rapeseed flowers and tender eel. The Christmas color cheesecake was turned into ice cream, and a terrine chocolate/stollen dessert was served at the end of the meal.

It can be quite difficult to make a reservation at this restaurant, so I found out that they offer early evening apéritif on some days and decided to go a few times during weekday afternoons. The wines are all delicious, but when they are not too busy, the service is very attentive. However, when they are busy, they seem to have no time at all, and there are times when they won't even change the glass or bring a different wine when requested. The wines are a bit on the expensive side, but if you're looking for a place to casually enjoy some drinks on a weekday afternoon without worrying too much about the service or price, this might be a good option. It feels like being left hanging like a dog at the counter watching the stylish restaurant's preparations. Hmm, I still feel like I want to go back for a proper meal at night.

Located a little off Kitazato Street, kermis tokyo had caught my eye for a while. With only a small sign, it seemed like a mysterious place. I thought the atmosphere might be intimidating, but they welcomed me warmly once I stepped inside. I enjoyed Akita craft beer with some pickled vegetables as a snack, and also tried their delicious-looking pudding with a cup of tea. The tableware was stylish, and the interior design made from recycled materials was also very chic. I unexpectedly discovered a trendy space.

The other day, I visited a popular restaurant where there is no menu and the dishes are created based on the ingredients available that day. I was excited to see what kind of dishes would be served. Every dish was sophisticated and incredibly delicious, and the tableware was also carefully selected, which made me very satisfied. The wine was also very delicious.

In 2022, I unexpectedly discovered a delicious restaurant! They bring out the deliciousness of carefully selected ingredients. Up until now, they have been doing pop-up stores all over Japan, but finally in May 2022, they opened a permanent location in Shirogane! (The name "kermis" means mobile amusement park). I had always been curious about this restaurant but hadn't had the chance to go. I was expecting a lot of vegetables and greens, so my expectations weren't too high, but it was shockingly good! Later I found out that Chef Nobu is a graduate of "Jewel Robuchon." He runs the restaurant with his wife and another female staff member. The main course is an omakase course for ¥14,300, but they also offer a la carte options during prep time in the daytime or after 9 pm when the course ends. The menu changes daily depending on the ingredients they have, making it a place you want to visit again and again! Even the staff other than the chef haven't tasted the dishes (laughs). The course included: Onion Pound Cake (Dessert Le Comptoir), Buri and Poireau (Hayashi Sengyo), Beet Steak (Tanba-san), Turnip and Squid (Ome Farm), Fried Autumn Eggplant with Pacific Saury (ALM Farm), Grilled Oomonhata (Hayashi Sengyo), Wild Boar Cutlet (Shikaya), Persimmon Dish, and Mont Blanc with Japanese Chestnut (Ome Farm). They also offer a new menu item, the Napolitan for ¥1,500, using noodles from Yamada Seimen. Each dish is made with a focus on high-quality ingredients, bringing out their simplicity and deliciousness. The restaurant's logo { } is inspired by a person's profile, symbolizing a place where people gather. The attention to detail in the food, concept, and interior of the restaurant is wonderful, and it's no wonder they have many fans. They were even being interviewed by Dancyu magazine next to us, so they might become even more popular! It's recommended to make a reservation now while it's still easy to get a table!

This is a hidden gem restaurant in Shirokanedai. There is no sign, so you may hesitate to open the heavy door as the exterior does not look like a restaurant. Inside, there is a stylish L-shaped counter seat with a cool atmosphere in dark gray lighting. I had a course for 14,300 yen. The dishes I had were: Onion pound cake with truffle, Butternut squash potage with ground cherry, Bonito tataki with grilled eggplant, Swordtip squid fritter on seaweed, Hiroshima bakery Durian's bread with black olive powder butter, Taropork and matsutake mushroom macaroni gratin, Abalone and porridge with liver sauce, Kikuchi Gengo beef charcoal-grilled with fried taro, Fig and red shiso compote, Creme caramel with caramel sauce. The food was delicious and innovative, with each dish showcasing the chef's skills in a beautiful presentation. The atmosphere was chic and the service was friendly. It was a satisfying meal with great value for money!

Visited with a friend. It's a small restaurant with only a counter, and they start serving all customers at the same time. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. We could choose a bottle from the wine cellar, but this time we tried various types by the glass. The dishes may look simple, but they were meticulously prepared and delicious. The only thing to note is that the location is a bit hard to find. I would like to visit again!

Lovely space. There were many customers who seemed like they were into PR or work related to Real Middle School Girls. It would be nice for couples who have just started dating. The food is a freestyle take on French cuisine. It adds a spice to those who are used to ordinary French cuisine.

Opened in May 2022, this trendy restaurant is located in Shirokan, within a 15-minute walk from Hiroo, Shirokan-dai, or Shirokan-takanawa stations. The exterior is stylish, and the interior is even more so, with a chic open kitchen facing a counter in a unique layout. The chef, NOBU, is said to have trained at Robuchon and later adopted a nomadic style, hosting pop-up restaurants across Japan while visiting local producers. The name "kermis" means "mobile amusement park" in Dutch. The service is provided by the chef's wife. The omakase course costs 14,300 yen and includes dishes like onion pound cake, truffle eggplant tartlet, and sujiara scales grilled. The fusion cuisine, based on French techniques, is both classic and innovative. The reviewer particularly enjoyed the beet gazpacho, genovese with shiso, and pie baked with figs and red shiso ice cream. Overall, a delightful dining experience in Tokyo.
