This is a fish shop located in Nakano Broadway. They sell fresh and delicious fish at a reasonable price, so I often come here to shop. Today, I came to buy takeout sushi for dinner. It costs ¥1,500 for one type of nigiri sushi. Sometimes they lower the prices towards closing time, but at 5:30 PM, the prices were still the same. Other sashimi and raw fish were discounted. I think their takeout sushi is much better than the supermarket's. However, when you consider it as ¥3,000 for two people, it might be wiser to buy several types of sashimi instead. Well, sometimes it's nice to take a shortcut. Thank you for the meal.

There is a store in Nakano Broadway B1 that sells seafood at astonishing prices. I happened to pass by (I was planning to go to a nearby curry restaurant) and saw a huge crowd, so I peeked inside to find this store. I purchased the following items: Tuna (Chu-toro) - 1150 yen, Amberjack - 400 yen, Eel - 880 yen. The tuna is labeled as "Hon Maguro" next to the store's name, so it must be bluefin tuna. It was Chu-toro and quite a large piece, around 100 to 200g. Very voluminous. Chu-toro of this size at this price. The quality is decent. This is amazing. I'm glad I bought it. Another surprise was the Amberjack. I've never had such Amberjack before. It had a crunchy texture and a distinct sweetness. It was delicious!! The eel was surprisingly large. Probably from China. But this size is more than enough to enjoy eel. The quality is decent. Anyway, it's cheap. Just cheap. And delicious. Especially the tuna and Amberjack were good. Found a great store!! I will visit again. Thank you for the meal!!

Hello, I'm Chi, the "Other Reviewer." ( ´ー`)ノ Koncha
It's the 12th day of commuting to Nakano, and I decided to have a meal at my parents' house. I was looking for some side dishes, and since my niece is there, I decided to buy her favorite tuna.
There were only a few items left in the refrigerated case, but there were some good deals on packs of bits and medium fatty tuna. I couldn't decide which one to choose, but then a sale on bits and medium fatty tuna packs started. I found a pack with some good-looking medium fatty tuna, so I bought that along with a pack of lean tuna. My niece and nephew enjoyed eating them. The part that seemed like medium fatty tuna had a bit too much fat, but it was good as a snack.

I heard that eating tuna red meat brings good luck, so I actively eat it to improve my luck. The red meat of the tuna I had today was very good. It was tender and juicy. The scallop sashimi was also delicious. Katsuta Shoten 03-3388-1890 Tokyo, Nakano-ku, Nakano 5-52-15 Nakano Broadway B1F.

I bought tuna sashimi and squid at the fish market and cooked for the first time in a while. I got half and half of lean tuna and medium fatty tuna because I wanted to try both. The lean tuna was tender and delicious, while the medium fatty tuna had a rich flavor. I cooked the spear squid with nagaimo (Chinese yam) in a simmered dish. Nagaimo doesn't break down like potatoes and can be eaten raw, making it perfect for simmered dishes. The spear squid doesn't get tough even when cooked, making it a great combination. I dipped the spear squid in dashi broth, brought it to a boil once to remove any impurities, then simmered it with a lid on for about 10 minutes. The nagaimo absorbed the flavors and became soft, so it only needed a quick simmer. It was my first time making it, but it was surprisingly easy. I will make it again. On the second day, I had the fatty tuna roll wrapped in seaweed, it was delicious. Eating tuna brings good luck. It was leftover from the previous day. For dessert, I had the high-calorie delicious sweet potato from Bicho University. It's so tasty that I end up eating too much. I went to my usual fish store intending to buy tuna sashimi, but the shopkeeper strongly recommended bonito sashimi instead. The belly side was fatty, almost like otoro. I remember the late cooking expert Tokiko Suzuki saying, "Bonito has a unique flavor, so prepare plenty of condiments." Every time I eat bonito sashimi, I think of her. I had ochazuke with leftover rice using Hyushiro's dashi. It wasn't because it was cold, but simply because it was yesterday's meal. Even with leftover rice, ochazuke cooked with dashi is delicious. The lean red tuna is velvety like medium fatty tuna. The sashimi from Katsuta Shoten is a big hit (the one I chose). Even the plain chawanmushi that doesn't stand out is uniquely shaped like a ginkgo leaf, a souvenir from a weekend golf outing, the sweet potato tempura from Koryo. At first, Koryo was treated with care, but in the latter half, it became like this. The rice is new crop. Could this sweet potato tempura also be... I didn't know the name of the shop in my daily life, but when I looked it up, it was called Katsuta Shoten. It's a fish market located in the basement of Nakano Broadway. Today, I had tuna sashimi, salted fish roe, and seaweed. The sashimi here is delicious, so I keep coming back. One pack costs 800 yen. They recommend boiling the seaweed with bamboo shoots. When adding it to miso soup, just put it in the bowl at the end because it's fresh seaweed. It's in season now. The salted fish roe is delicious. They are closed on Wednesdays, so be careful.
