I stopped by for a morning break. The seating area had partitioned two-seater tables, which was rare but cozy. I ordered the morning set with a drink for 650 yen, which came with a choice of thick toast with boiled egg or mini pancakes. I chose the mini pancakes. The coffee was the "Hoshino Blend," a strong and rich blend. The mini pancakes, which arrived a bit late, were surprisingly large and fluffy, not thin and crispy. They were topped with whipped butter and maple syrup, and they were delicious. The option for a refill for 100 yen was a great deal.

I had gratin for lunch. You can add a drink for an extra 350 yen. The lunch was a bit on the expensive side, but the gratin was really hot and freshly made. The space was nice, with a few solo customers here and there, but it might not be very relaxing if you're seated near a table where people are discussing loudly. The staff who showed me to my seat were friendly, so I thought I would ask to change seats if I end up near a table like that next time.

Vanilla coffee at Natsuharu [Limited time only] was delicious! Thank you very much. The shop is located right in front of Akasaka-Mitsuke Station on the Tokyo Metro. I visited around 5:30 pm on a weekday. I ordered the vanilla coffee and they recommended mixing it with whipped cream to make a vanilla cafe latte.

I couldn't get my usual box seat at Hoshino Coffee, so I ended up sitting a couple of seats away. The seats in the back are a bit close together, so it's not the best for private conversations. But I found a hidden spot near the entrance. The coffee was delicious and not too expensive, so this might become my new go-to spot for meetings.

This is a cafe located across the road from Akasaka Mitsuke Station. It is currently under construction and covered with scaffolding, so it may be a bit hard to find. The taste is good as it is a chain store. The interior is surprisingly spacious, so it's a good place to relax. I wanted to use a coupon that was valid until February, but couldn't due to time constraints... What a shame...

Considering the relaxing atmosphere, the cost-performance ratio seemed reasonable. The coffee, Otome, was delicious as expected.

After enjoying the breathtaking beautiful singing at the New Otani Atrium Concert, I felt thirsty and decided to look for a cafe. I found this place near Kenchomae Station. Although it is a famous spot in Akasaka, there were comfortable seats where I could relax. I ordered a hot fruit tea, which was quite good. The combination of tea and fruit flavors was delightful. I would definitely want to drink this again.

I went out to the office, so today's lunch was at Hoshino Coffee. It's not near my home. I ordered the Double Chocolate Souffle Pancake. It's fluffy and the chocolate is delicious. I couldn't resist getting the double portion and now I'm feeling full.

Still, the meat sauce is just so delicious. I know it's a lot, but I always end up finishing it. If I ever crave something rich again, I'll definitely go there.

The restaurant was full inside, so I sat near the entrance where the ventilation was good but felt like I was almost eating outside because of the strong wind. I ordered the baked curry, pizza sandwich, pudding, and coffee, which all had a simple taste. There were only two staff members who seemed very busy. If I visit again, I would like to try the pancakes during a less crowded time.

The interior of the shop is spacious towards the back, with seating both in the front and upstairs towards the back. I heard that the sofa seats have a time limit of 2 hours. It takes about 20 minutes for the soufflé to be baked, but when I went to Hoshino Coffee, I had to try the soufflé. So, I decided to order the souffle pancake morning set. The set came with a single souffle pancake and a generous portion of salad on one plate. The salad included boiled egg, salami, and was quite filling. The souffle pancake was served with whipped butter and drizzled with plenty of syrup. The fluffy texture and melt-in-your-mouth sensation of the pancake were simply irresistible. It put me in a happy mood right from the start of the day. I also enjoyed a cup of hand-drip brewed Hoshino Blend. A place where you can indulge in a little luxury before heading to work.

My sister often sends me pictures of the "Souffle Doria" that she enjoys during weekday lunches, boasting about the hot and fluffy souffle. Unfortunately, there are no branches near my home or office, so I hadn't been able to visit until now. The shop is known nationwide as one of the "Three Great Retro Cafes" alongside Ujishima Coffee and Komeda Coffee. This time, I ordered: - Baked Fluffy Souffle Doria: I visited to try this dish! It takes about 15 minutes to bake. When it arrived, I was excited to see the fluffy souffle. The meringue part is made of fluffy egg whites, and underneath is a layer of white sauce with sausage, bacon, and shimeji mushrooms. Below that is a nostalgic ketchup rice. It's a dreamy four-layered Doria. - Souffle Pancake (Double): It takes about 20 minutes to bake these pancakes. There are several options like single, double, with chocolate sauce, and seasonal ones like strawberry. I chose maple syrup for the normal pancake. The pancake, made fluffy with meringue, has a crispy outside and a fluffy inside texture. - Baked Vanilla Souffle: This souffle also takes about 20 minutes to bake. There are two sauce options, anglais sauce and chocolate sauce. I chose anglais sauce, which has a slight alcohol taste. The vanilla sauce made with milk and eggs has a lemon-like acidity in the aftertaste. The souffle is incredibly fluffy and enjoyable. I wasn't too impressed with the souffle pancake, but the baked vanilla souffle was delicious! I had a great time with the fluffy meringue and ketchup rice in the souffle Doria. I will definitely visit again when I have errands in Akasaka. Thank you for the delicious meal!

After eating spicy and numbing mala knife-cut noodles, I visited this cafe. The atmosphere inside was retro, but it wasn't a quiet and calming space as I had expected. The staff directed me to a table. I ordered the Hikoboshi Blend for 600 yen and the Raisin Sandwich & Duck Wafers for 280 yen. After a short wait, the Hikoboshi Blend and Raisin Sandwich & Duck Wafers arrived. The Hikoboshi Blend was delicious in terms of aroma, richness, and smoothness. The Raisin Sandwich & Duck Wafers were also tasty. I asked if I could switch to iced coffee for an additional 300 yen, and they agreed. I chose from Hikoboshi, Orihime, Hoshino, Decaf, and Iced Coffee options. The iced coffee arrived after a while and was also delicious. When I paid, I found out that because I ordered the Raisin Sandwich & Duck Wafers, the coffee was considered a set drink, making the Hikoboshi Blend 400 yen and the Raisin Sandwich & Duck Wafers 280 yen, totaling 680 yen. If the Raisin Sandwich & Duck Wafers were considered a set, it would only be 80 yen more, making it more cost-effective to order them.

I had dinner at Hoshino Coffee, where I ate cake. It opened on December 15, 2017, in Akasaka Mitsuke, located on the Esplanade Akasaka Street in Akasaka. It took over the location of Seto Udon Akasaka Mitsuke Station. The interior has non-smoking table seats on the 1st floor, non-smoking table seats in the middle of the 2nd floor, and smoking table seats. It is completely smoke-free. It is a cafe chain store affiliated with Doutor. It's open until 11:00 PM, so it's nice to be able to go after a drinking party. Cake and drink set for 420+400 yen, featuring Hoshino Coffee's Opera cake and iced tea. The Opera cake had gold powder on top. I thought it would be a chain store with a sponge cake that's not very good and overly sweet chocolate, but it was actually quite authentic and delicious. A satisfying dessert.
