During the off-season, I really wanted to eat crab no matter what, so I headed to Ueno for a crab lunch. It was great that even on Saturdays, you can have lunch at the same price as on weekdays until 4:00 PM. I made a last-minute reservation over the phone and was seated by the window with a great view. I am a fan of crab rice dishes, while my husband loves porridge. We thought about ordering separate dishes, but since we came together, we decided to go with the Man'yō (crab suki) dish and added crab tofu shumai instead. The crab vinegar in the basket was delicious as always. The freshness and richness are completely different. The chilled and smooth crab sauce over egg tofu, and the crab miso dressing salad were exciting appetizers. Since I wasn't with the crab suki expert, I struggled to finish the vegetables first, resulting in a luxurious situation of having crab left over! I topped my porridge with plenty of crab. The crab tofu shumai was more like a steamed egg custard with plenty of eggs rather than a shumai, and it melted in my mouth. The chewy tofu skin and smooth tofu combined with the crab broth were unexpectedly delicious. For dessert, I thought it might be matcha affogato, but I was able to choose from four different options. I was happy to be able to choose since I usually end up eating both servings of dessert. On June 22nd, it's "Crab Day," and on the following 23rd, there will be a two-day special with speed lottery distribution and crab sushi rolls for takeout at a discounted price of 2000 yen (half for 1000 yen). I want to make a reservation and go buy some souvenirs.

On Saturday at 5pm, we made a reservation for 5 people and were escorted to a private room in a Japanese-style restaurant. We ordered the "Kani Kaiseki Asahi" (5,500 yen) which was delicious. One of the middle school students who loves crab particularly enjoyed the crab vinegar and ordered an additional dish (2,750 yen). Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed the crab. The service provided by the waitress in a kimono was also very pleasant.

The best cost performance! I can't believe I can eat such delicious crab at this price... I come to eat here many times, but I never get tired of it. I especially recommend the steamed egg custard and deep-fried crab. The only downside is that the Ueno branch is so popular that it's hard to make a reservation.

Once a year, as a reward for getting through my annual health check-up, I treated myself to a lunch at "Kani Doraku" straight from the clinic. In the past, I could just walk in, but due to the increasing inbound demand in recent years, reservations are now necessary well in advance. When I was debating whether to have "Kani Sukiyaki" in the middle of summer, I found out they had a course featuring boiled hairy crabs until early August, so I decided on that. The first dish was not a crab vinegar appetizer as I expected, but a whole hairy crab right from the start. With a special tool for crabs, I carefully picked the meat from the legs, claws, and body. In the meantime, I enjoyed some snow crab sashimi as well. It took about an hour and a half to finish eating the crab. Although the crabs were on the smaller side, the meat was juicy and packed tightly, and the shells were neatly cleaned. After the crab, we had snow crab sashimi, chawanmushi, tempura, and finally crab rice, indulging in a variety of crab dishes prepared in different ways. That's the charm of this place - being able to enjoy various types of crabs in various preparations. It was a luxurious three-hour lunch on a weekday afternoon. Today's feast included the boiled hairy crab course, snow crab sashimi, and drinks like beer, sake, and gin. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Ueno Station is about a 3-minute walk away. We had a company lunch at this restaurant and tried the Full Moon course, which costs about 10,000 yen per person. The first dish served was boiled taraba crab. It was so delicious that we all exclaimed how tasty it was! We also enjoyed rare crab sashimi and crab miso served in the shell. The crab tempura and crab rice cooked in a pot were also incredibly delicious. The portions were generous and we left very satisfied. The variety of beer, wine, and other drinks was impressive, and we were pleased to see that wine specifically chosen to complement the crab was available. The private room provided a relaxing atmosphere for us to enjoy our meal. We definitely want to come back again.

The long-awaited Kani Doraku exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. I definitely want to use it once a year. The Zuwai Kani Charcoal Grill for 3,960 yen, Taraba Kani Charcoal Grill for 6,600 yen, Kani Sukiyaki for 5,280 yen x 2, additional Kani Shabu Kani for 6,050 yen, bottled beer for 770 yen x ? other appetizers a few points? Total of 38,990 yen * Used for business with 4 people. The Kani grilled on the table with charcoal prepared is intoxicating from the aroma. The crabs, grilled to a medium level, each had their own distinct flavors and were very delicious. The Kani Sukiyaki is consistently delicious and truly a taste of bliss with the additional crab for shabu-shabu. The other dishes, such as salad and crab miso, were ordinary in taste, not necessarily worth the price. But overall, I am satisfied. The service and atmosphere were lacking, with many inexperienced staff and difficulty in getting their attention for orders. The interior and furnishings had a rich Japanese atmosphere, which was very nice. Overall, I give a high rating for the satisfaction of eating crab! The grilled crab and hot pot dishes were exciting. Highly recommended. Thank you for the meal.

The taste is consistently delicious. I had a private room and added crab sushi and crab cream croquette to the lunch course. I was full and satisfied. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is friendly. The crab sushi rolls they sell as souvenirs are also delicious, so I recommend them.

When I went after a long time, I found that the lunch menu had changed and there were fewer options. Even though Kanibee passed away a while ago, they no longer served dessert. The crab salad was also gone, so I was quite disappointed. However, I love crab so I ordered the crab sashimi from Hanabishi. I also enjoy the crab and tofu dumplings. But I was really shocked by the changes.

I used it for lunch on a holiday. I made a reservation and had a tatami room prepared. I ordered the lunch special of crab sukiyaki, Manyo, as well as other crab dishes, Taraba crab charcoal-grilled, crab green salad, crab gratin, and Taraba crab sashimi. It was hot outside, so I first quenched my thirst with a draft beer before enjoying the crab dishes. The crab sukiyaki had a delicious flavor of crab and vegetables, and even the soup was very tasty. The charcoal-grilled and sashimi had juicy and delicious meat. The dessert and porridge at the end were also delicious, making it a very luxurious lunch.

I love Kanidouraku!! I want to go there every three months and order the lunch course for the 5th time. I ordered the Shinonome course, which included crab miso, crab vinegar, chawanmushi, crab ball soup, crab hot pot, and crab sushi. Everything was delicious. Next time, I will definitely order crab vinegar, crab sashimi, and crab hot pot!

It is close to Ueno Station, but also near Keisei Ueno Station. It can get somewhat crowded even during lunchtime. The crab dishes are reasonably priced. The course meals are also very delicious. The clientele is diverse. Whenever I feel like eating crab, I come here. I highly recommend it.

I suddenly felt like eating crab at the beginning of the year, so I went to a restaurant. Despite it being lunchtime, there were quite a few customers inside. I wanted to eat plenty of crab, so I ordered a course for about 15,000 yen. The appetizer was a steamed egg custard, which was okay. Boiled crab was a classic dish. The crab sashimi was so-so. The crab hot pot was the most delicious. It was full of crab broth. I enjoyed plenty of crab, but the cost performance was not that great. I would like to go again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Located a 3-minute walk from JR Ueno Station, Uguisudani exit, on the 8th floor of a building along Chuo Street, is the restaurant "Kani Douraku Ueno". In early February, three of us visited for lunch. The restaurant has a total of 110 seats, including table seating and private dugout seats. We were guided to a private room. On this day, we decided to try the special "Winter Cherry Blossom" course (tax included 9900 yen). The course included: - Crab appetizers (Crab vinegar, Crab appetizers) - Crab sashimi (Two kinds of snow crab sashimi) - Crab chawanmushi (Crab steamed egg custard) - Bowl dish (Taraba crab turnip steamed dish) - Crab shabu-shabu (Snow crab) - Zosui (Japanese rice soup) - Pickles - Dessert For drinks, we chose "Oolong Highball" (550 yen) and "White wine (half bottle)" according to our preferences. The dishes were served at a pace that matched our eating speed. It was truly a crab lover's paradise, with each dish being delicious. Personally, I especially enjoyed the "Crab shabu-shabu," which felt perfect for winter! We enjoyed plenty of crab dishes and drinks and had a great time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I went to Kani Doraku Ueno branch for the first time in a few years to eat crab (^-^). The atmosphere inside the restaurant is a bit high-class. I was seated by the window facing Ueno Park. This time, I ordered a course meal. - Crab appetizer - Crab chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) - Crab gratin - Crab tempura - Crab rice in a pot → changed to crab paper pot - Seasonal ice cream Kani Doraku offers only high-quality crab dishes, which makes it very satisfying. The crab gratin is very delicious and makes a great accompaniment to drinks (^o^). Each menu item may seem small in portion, but by the time the seasonal ice cream arrives, you will feel completely satisfied. The staff is attentive and the atmosphere is very pleasant! It was delicious to revisit Kani Doraku after a long time (*^_^*)

I went to Ueno to eat crab. It was located on the 7th floor of a building about a 4-5 minute walk from Ueno Station towards Matsuya. I had made a reservation early, so I got a window seat with a beautiful night view. I had the Kouraku course, with white wine that paired well with the crab. I enjoyed dipping the crab meat in crab vinegar. The crab egg tofu in crab sauce was elegant. The one-bite crab steak was delicious, with a nice texture and flavor. I forgot to take a picture of it. The crab sukiyaki was also great, dipping the crab legs in the broth was so tasty. I could eat as much as I wanted. I even finished the porridge and dessert with the broth. I am full now. The night view was also lovely. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I felt like eating crab, so I went to Kanidouraku for a crab course. We started with a toast with beer. The course included crab vinegar, salad, crab sashimi, crab gratin, crab tempura, crab battera sushi, red miso soup, and dessert. The gratin was delicious! I could eat 10 more of them. Everything was so tasty and went well with the drinks. Thank you for the delicious meal!

As a reward for my hard work, I went to my favorite crab restaurant, Yokani Doraku Ueno Branch. The restaurant is located on the 8th floor of the Nagato Building along Ueno Chuo Street. They offer a variety of crab dishes such as crab course, crab miso, boiled crab tasting set (Taraba, Zuwai, Kegani), flower ice, grilled Taraba crab, crab tempura, crab nigiri sushi, red miso soup, and fruit. Everything was delicious, but my favorite was the crab nigiri. I went alone this time, but I bought crab nigiri as a souvenir for my family. I ate so much crab that I won't need to eat any for a while. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I came to Kani Doraku for the first time in a while. I have used it for drinks at night, but this is my first time for lunch. With the limited options for dining out at night, this lunch feels a bit luxurious. I can't drink alcohol, so I enjoyed my meal with non-alcoholic beer. When eating crab, I focus on getting the meat, so naturally, the conversation is minimal. I enjoyed the taste of a crab specialty restaurant.

They were having a crab shabu-shabu fair, so I ordered crab shabu-shabu first. I also ordered crab sashimi, crab cream croquettes, and chawanmushi. They made porridge for us, so we were full. Crab is definitely delicious when eaten as shabu-shabu, as you can directly taste the flavor.

Made a reservation for "Takahashi-san" and enjoyed a crab dish alone! While waiting for the live hairy crab to boil, I ordered a course meal for one. I forgot to take pictures of the chawanmushi and rice cooked in a pot. I wondered if Kanimania in Ginza is expensive? Feeling a bit hesitant, I decided to enjoy the view of Ueno's lush greenery from a familiar spot in Ueno. As I gazed at the scenery, I realized I had never seen Ueno from this angle before. I shared my stress with the crab as I silently faced off with it. It was so delicious that it brought tears to my eyes!

Finally got to see my dad who I haven't been able to meet due to Corona, and celebrate Father's Day (≧▽≦) We chose "Kani Doraku" because they seem to provide spacious seating to avoid crowds as much as possible. My dad's teeth have weakened with age, but he can still enjoy crab as it's soft to eat haha. He was so satisfied and happy eating his favorite hairy crab miso! The king crab sashimi was also delicious! It's been a while since I last visited here myself. Crab is nice once in a while, isn't it! #HairyCrab #Elegant atmosphere #Ueno #Suitable for business lunches too.
