Located in Ginza 7-chome, this long-established sushi restaurant is perfect for when you suddenly crave sushi as they accept same-day reservations and stay open until after 1 am. There are no set courses, so you can either inform them of your budget and leave it up to them, or order a la carte. Personally, I recommend ordering a la carte. The mushroom sushi is a must-try dish!

In the past, even when alone, I used to casually stop by this great restaurant. This is the true way of a sushi restaurant, with a warm chef's hospitality that I haven't felt in a long time. It was so nice to be able to feel that warmth again. It's not a super high-end place, omakase, or course style, just your everyday sushi. It made me really happy to be able to come here again. The warmth remains unchanged. The familiar and ordinary atmosphere. It's a place where you can enjoy picking your favorite items and have a conversation. We were talking so I didn't take many photos.

There is a sushi restaurant in Ginza 7-chome that stays open until after 1 am. We decided to check it out after finishing our club activities around midnight. When we arrived, a young sushi chef greeted us and served us appetizers like clams and abalone. For nigiri sushi, we had horse mackerel, shiitake mushrooms, conger eel, squid, octopus, tuna, kohada, toro, and sea urchin. We also had 3 bottles of sake and 2 glasses of oolong tea, which came to a total of 60,000 yen for 3 people. The food was decent, but I wish the quality of the sushi was a bit better. Thank you.

They are open until late at night, so you can stop by when you feel hungry. The atmosphere is not too formal, and the chefs are friendly and provide natural and polite service. The best part is the incredibly fresh ingredients! This hidden gem in Ginza is not crowded with trendy customers, but rather has long-time regulars and relies on word-of-mouth. You'll be surprised by the great value for the price.

Ginza Sushi Suki-san♪ I had never been there before, but this time I was taken there for the first time. I love shellfish, so they served me a lovely shellfish appetizer to go with my sake, and then I had the nigiri recommended by the chef. I forgot to take a lot of pictures, but the striped horse mackerel was incredibly delicious, I even ordered it twice! It was a truly happy time.

Ginza Omote Street. From the Recruit Building at the intersection of Sotobori Street, head towards Ginza Hacchome intersection. Pass the intersection with Namiki Street, then turn left at the T-junction with Kenban Street. Crossing Hanatsubaki Street while observing the many signs on both sides, you will see a vertical sign with white letters on a black background and a horizontal sign with white letters on a brown background on your right. A sushi restaurant with a beautifully polished white wooden counter and private counter seats at the back. The main feature of this restaurant is the warm atmosphere of hospitality in these private counter seats. Enjoying sushi at the counter is a delightful experience, but encountering disappointment when sharing the space with other guests with different temperatures and vectors can be disheartening. In contrast, the excitement of enjoying sushi in the private counter seats is unmatched. The L-shaped private counter seats at this restaurant require guests to take off their shoes and sit with their legs comfortably lowered in a dug kotatsu-style seating. The meal starts with appetizers like simmered octopus, assorted sashimi, and dried fish, which are all delicious but lack distinctiveness and are forgettable. Next, a young chef starts making nigiri sushi with flounder, medium fatty tuna, kohada, horse mackerel, and more. Each piece is carefully crafted, and while there are explanations about the ingredients and techniques, the simplicity of sushi highlights the importance of skill and presentation. Despite initial concerns about a burnt smell from being cooked over high heat, the simmered conger eel in front of me surprises with its delicious aroma, leaving a lasting impression of the restaurant's history and strength. It was a night that reaffirmed the challenges and rewards of sushi craftsmanship.

I visited Ginza Sushi Sachi for the first time. The master there was very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very comfortable. Each dish was carefully explained to me based on my eating pace and my dislike for herbs. I had a variety of dishes including thin fish sashimi, salt-grilled fish, and nigiri sushi with fatty tuna and striped jack. The master skillfully prepared each sushi with a slight indentation in the rice and a touch of air to make it fluffy. The fatty tuna melted in my mouth and the fresh salmon roe had a thin skin that burst with flavor. The shiitake mushroom nigiri, a specialty of Sushi Sachi, was also outstanding. The texture was like abalone and the flavor of the mushroom paired well with the rice. The additional shrimp was delicious with a mix of miso and boiled sweetness. It was a blissful experience and I would love to visit again in the future.

Visited Sushi Koi in Ginza. One of the shops I've always wanted to visit. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, the reputation for the thoughtfulness of the master. While the basic is omakase, there are various conversations such as the timing from appetizers to nigiri, the size of the shari, the amount of wasabi, and recommendations for sake. It's a far cry from the traditional atmosphere of "grumpy but delicious" old shops. Moreover, the conversations at the perfect timing without being excessive might be in the realm of divine skill. Master Okada makes sushi with "hon-tegaeshi". This was the other reason I wanted to come to this shop. This meticulous way of shaping sushi is rarely seen in modern times. When asked how the sushi differs when shaped this way, I am at a loss, but I can't help but be captivated by the master's hands shaping the sushi with hon-tegaeshi. This may also be a performance unique to counter business. For some reason, I feel like I'm enjoying "authentic Edomae" sushi. I enjoyed a variety of dishes with omakase. I was very satisfied with the appetizers and nigiri that cherish the ingredients. There were some rare items like shiitake nigiri and seared skin of striped jack nigiri. Personally, I was impressed by the lightly blanched live shrimp sashimi to bring out the sweetness, and the freshly simmered conger eel with salt and claw nigiri. In such a shop, there is an excitement for the ingredients, and I feel like coming back in a different season. Even after drinking and eating, I was surprised that the bill was half that of the main Sushi Koi store. I was once reminded of the "fear of Ginza sushi" at the main store, but I feel saved at this shop. I want to visit again in early autumn. I'm sure they will entertain me with surprising ingredients again.

I went to Sushi Koko in Ginza. The interior felt like a special private room. The meal started with appetizers and then moved on to nigiri sushi. However, none of the flavors stood out as particularly delicious. There wasn't anything that I found to be really tasty, but there also wasn't anything that I found to be bad. In other words, it was just average. I'm sorry.

Nighttime surprise. Arrived a bit early and waited inside. Nostalgic Showa-era atmosphere with good craftsmanship. The master appeared. Lucky us. Started with beer and moved on to Japanese sake. Appetizers included mozuku seaweed, sashimi with shrimp, cucumber salad, steamed abalone liver with sauce, and other dishes rich in purines. The Japanese sake was flowing fast, and the master kept up the pace. Couldn't fall behind. Moved on to nigiri sushi. The rice was a bit mushy. The selection included horse mackerel, flounder, various shellfish, tuna, and clams. Had a bit more to drink and finished with tea. Found out the master and I are the same age, and we shared common memories of our hometowns. Seems like a good upbringing. The bill was like Ginza prices. Will definitely be back.

I visited this place for the first time. From the appetizers to the sushi, I tried a variety of dishes and they were all fantastic. Of course, considering the prices, it's expected that the food would be delicious, but given the location in Ginza, I think the taste exceeds the price. Among all the dishes, I was particularly impressed by the Kohada and Shiitake nigiri. The saba and katsuo sashimi were also excellent. Personally, I appreciated the fact that there were no elaborate descriptions. Lately, many places tend to overdo it with descriptions like "This is the finest tuna" or "This is a rare delicacy from so-and-so." It can be off-putting. But here, there were no unnecessary descriptions, just a focus on the taste. It's not a cheap place, so I won't come here often, but I definitely want to visit again. The atmosphere and service were top-notch as well.

A warm restaurant where Noh performers and Ginza workers gather, and they will make sushi according to your preferences.
