The heat had eased off on this day, so I crossed over Showa Street to have a Korean cuisine lunch. The restaurant had a stately interior and I was seated at a spacious table for four in the back. With so many menu options to choose from, I decided on the "Sul Lung Tang and Mini Dak Galbi Bowl Set" for ¥1,250. The beef tendon soup, served in a doctor's bowl, was piping hot and took a while to cool down before I could dig in. The slightly sweet Dak Galbi paired well with the rice. Looking around, I noticed that the majority of the customers were women, which made sense to me.

First visit. I had the lunch set of Beef tendon Sol-lontan. It came with side dishes and was priced at 1050 yen, which is reasonable. The Sol-lontan soup was very delicious. It has a gentle flavor and is lightly seasoned, but you can adjust it to your liking by adding salt or pepper. Personally, I prefer adding pepper. However, as mentioned in another review, there wasn't much beef tendon in it, mostly just soup. Maybe because it was past 2 pm? Not sure. If it had more beef tendon, I would give it 3.5 stars. Even though it was past 2 pm, there were still many customers, so it seems to be a popular place. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. I love Korean food, so I would like to try other items on the menu as well.

Yesterday, we revisited Korean Dining Chosu Kanjujo Ginza store because we stayed up late until midnight at the Azabu-Juban Festival, and we wanted to drink some soothing soup. Today, three of us ordered three different lunch sets to share. We got the stone bibimbap and half bibin noodles set for 1,400 yen, the sol-lontang and mini jajangpa for 1,200 yen, and the jajangpa with mini bulgogi rice bowl for 1,300 yen. The stone bibimbap was slightly spicy, and the half bibin noodles were quite authentic. The piping hot sol-lontang was subtly flavored and warmed our bodies that had been drinking too much. Even on a Sunday in Ginza, you can enjoy a solid Korean lunch until 4 pm for just over 1,000 yen. Thank you for the meal!

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon in August around 1:30 pm, and the place was packed. The interior was more spacious than it appeared from the entrance, and after a short wait, I was seated. The lunch menu was quite extensive, making it hard to decide. I wanted to try the "Korean-style Jjajangmyeon" (1000 yen) because I like Jjajangmyeon, but unfortunately, they were sold out on that day. So, I opted for the "Stone Bibimbap and Half Bibin Noodle Set" (1400 yen) instead. It arrived in about 10 minutes. The hot Bibimbap had a nice sizzle and aroma. I mixed it well, spreading the rice to the sides to create some crispy rice. While waiting for the crispy rice, I started with the Bibin noodles. The thin straight noodles were coated in a sweet and spicy sauce, which was delicious. The set also came with salad, kimchi, and two types of namul. Finally, I dug into the main Bibimbap. The seasoning was not too strong but just right. It had a moderate level of spiciness (I personally prefer it a bit spicier, but it might be spicy enough for those who are not fond of spicy food). Overall, for the price of 1400 yen, it was worth it. The exterior sign may look a bit cheap, but the restaurant serves authentic Korean cuisine. I would definitely consider coming back when I crave Korean food for lunch.
P.S. My companions ordered the "Sullungtang and Mini Bulgogi Rice Bowl Set" (1300 yen) and the "Sullungtang and Jajangpa Set" (1200 yen). Sullungtang had a refreshing taste. Personally, I would have preferred a stronger flavor. The Jajangpa had Jjajangmyeon sauce over rice, which I really liked. So, I would like to try the "Korean-style Jjajangmyeon" next time for a rematch.

When it's hot, I crave something hot like Sundubu. I remembered there was a Korean restaurant nearby when I thought about where to eat. Just a short walk from the Kabuki-za in Higashi-Ginza, there's a restaurant with a sign on the corner called "Chojusukoso." They seem to be featuring pure tofu dishes. Perfect! When I mentioned I was dining alone, a waiter in a bright red uniform led me to a table. The menu had pure tofu dishes, including a 100-year-old tofu hot pot and a dish with squid and pure tofu. I love squid, so I decided to order that. As more customers arrived, the restaurant quickly filled up. My squid and pure tofu dish arrived, steaming and smelling delicious. The tofu was flavorful and just the right amount of spicy, and the squid was perfectly chewy. Korean restaurants always surprise me with how tasty their food is. The kimchi and namul sides were also delicious. The meal was affordable at 1250 yen in Higashi-Ginza. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and left feeling satisfied. The poster of a man enjoying a stew on my way out made me want to come back for more. Another delicious meal at a Korean restaurant.

I was looking forward to it, but the system where the staff cooks for you was not great. The grill wasn't even hot when they put the meat on, and when I asked for garlic, it took a long time to come out. It probably depends on the staff, but it wasn't very good. The cheese tteokbokki was okay though (laughs).

On a Sunday in Ginza, I was in the mood for Korean food, so I wanted to have a quick lunch and decided to visit this restaurant located on the outskirts of Ginza. It was just past 1 o'clock, but there was already a small line forming. Upon reflection, finding a place in Ginza on the weekend where you can have lunch for just a little over 1000 yen is quite rare. The menu is extensive, offering dishes such as Sundubu, Naengmyeon, Seolleongtang, Samgyetang, and Bibimbap. The food tasted good, although nothing extraordinary. However, the restaurant has a lot of seating, so even if there is a line, you can easily get a table by waiting a bit.

Due to the intense heat, I couldn't sleep at night and my appetite completely disappeared. I finally decided to visit a Korean restaurant that I had been ignoring, hoping to have some cold noodles. To my surprise, the place was spacious and beautiful, located in the basement near Matsuya in East Ginza. The cold noodles with chilled soup that I had been craving were delicious and reasonably priced at 1050 yen, including side dishes like seasoned bean sprouts, salad, and fern. The noodles were chewy and the soup was simple and gentle on the body. I went alone but ended up trying two types of cold noodles due to some circumstances. I preferred the mizore noodles over the bibim noodles. The lunch menu was extensive, offering dishes like sundubu, jjigae, bibimbap, samgyetang, and more. Even after 1:00 PM, the place was crowded with customers, contrary to what I had expected. The staff, who were very kind, made my solo dining experience comfortable.

I was in the mood for stone pot bibimbap, so I went to "Chosyu Kanzake Sake Bar Ginza" near Higashi Ginza. It's a popular Korean restaurant in Ginza. When I went on a weekday afternoon, the restaurant was full. After waiting for about 5 minutes, I was seated. The restaurant only has table seating. There were several types of stone pot bibimbap on the menu. I ordered the cheese bibimbap. It arrived in about 5 minutes. It was bibimbap with plenty of cheese on top. It came with soup, kimchi, and appetizers. You press the bibimbap into the stone pot to cook it before eating. The cheese got crispy and a nice sear formed. The soup was a gentle egg drop soup. The seasoned bean sprouts, fernbrake, and salad had mild flavors. The seared bibimbap with burnt gochujang and cheese aroma was appetizing. The egg yolk on top of the cheese added richness. The burnt smell of the bibimbap was appetizing. The cheese toned down the spiciness. Adding kimchi made it more delicious. It was a simple and satisfying bibimbap lunch. I want to try the beef tendon bibimbap next time.

Had lunch at KOREAN DINING Chosyu Korean Sake Bar in Ginza. I've passed by a few times and was curious about this place. The lunch menu is extensive. I got the set with Sol Lung Tang and mini Bulgogi bowl. I like spicy dishes like Sundubu, but it's rare to find a place that serves Sol Lung Tang. The light soup allows you to adjust the salt to your liking, which is nice. The Bulgogi was almost like Gyudon (beef bowl), but the seasoning was just right. It came with a variety of side dishes, great value for the price. I also added the Beef and Potato Jeon, which was chewy and delicious. There are plenty of seats, including semi-private tables, making it convenient. #KOREANDININGChosyuKoreanSakeBar #GinzaLunch

Korean Dining Chosujip GINZA Store
Located in the basement of an old building called the Paper Pulp Building behind Matsuya Ginza in Ginza 3-chome. This area is a popular street in Ginza where Korean restaurants are concentrated. I had known about this restaurant for a few years, but I had always ignored it because the sign on the street gave me a cheap chain restaurant vibe. However, I decided to visit for the first time because I found out they serve lunch on Sundays from 11:30 am to 4 pm. It was a little after 1 pm on a Sunday and the restaurant was almost full, so we had to wait for about 10 minutes before we were seated. The interior was surprisingly spacious, stylish, and cafe-like, with both table seating and semi-private table seating, making it quite comfortable. The lunch menu includes various Korean side dishes starting from 1050 yen. Today, my friend and I ordered two lunch sets to share. Both sets arrived in about 10 minutes. The Beef Tendon Seolleongtang set for 1,050 yen came with Salad Bibimbap, Kimchi, and Namul, with free extra rice. The piping hot Seolleongtang had a delicate and delicious flavor that stayed hot for a long time! It was filled with plenty of beef tendons. The extra rice for the Salad Bibimbap was a huge portion, but with the Kimchi and Namul, it was surprisingly easy to finish. The Yukgaejang noodles with tender beef for 1,250 yen came with Kimchi, Namul, Oden Pokum, Multi-grain rice, and Salad. This dish also arrived piping hot! The soup was spicy and flavorful, and the noodles were chewy with a good amount. The portion of the multi-grain rice was just enough, as you couldn't request extra, but the noodles had more than enough volume, so it was quite satisfying. It's really great to be able to enjoy a proper Korean lunch in the heart of Ginza on a Sunday until 4 pm for just a little over 1,000 yen!

For many years, or even longer, I had seen the sign on the street, but the colors seemed faded so I never thought to go inside. However, today, I was somehow drawn in and it was a jackpot! The shop is clean, the prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious! And the salt on the table is amazing!! (I actually love salt!) I will definitely go back again.

The course menu for 3500 yen had a decent amount of food as expected. I had just eaten a Jonathan parfait before, so it was just right for me. I made a reservation for 5:00 pm and there was no one else there yet. We were served kimchi and namul as appetizers, followed by samgyeopsal. It was nice to have it grilled in front of us. There were perilla leaves and lettuce to wrap the meat in. However, the samgyeopsal was a bit bland, so the sauces were necessary. There were two types of sauces, one with sesame oil and salt and pepper. The chapchae and sundubu were also a bit bland, and my friends had the same impression. Although the portions were good, the flavors were a bit lacking. But it was nice to be able to try a variety of dishes with the course menu.

Located a 2.3-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza, this Korean restaurant in the basement has a calm atmosphere. I ordered Samgyupsal, beef pancake, cheese tteokbokki, spicy stir-fried squid, and kimbap. The Samgyupsal was delicious, but unfortunately, the kimchi was placed in the hole where the meat fat drips, so the fat didn't drain well. However, the taste of all dishes was delicious! I recommend the beef pancake!

I used the dinner menu for a girls' gathering! The menu was plentiful and it was fun to choose. I especially had a hard time deciding on the various Samgyupsal menu options. It would be even better if there were a few more soup and dessert options.

I visited around 11:30 without a reservation and was seated immediately without waiting. It seems that you cannot order from the grand menu during lunch time, so dishes like Samgyeopsal cannot be ordered. You get 4-5 side dishes, but the portion is small and the taste is mediocre. They offer affordable lunch even on holidays, so it might be good for a quick meal.

I have been working at my current job for over 10 years as an ordinary part-time housewife, but I take my job seriously and find it fulfilling. The distance between my home and workplace can be covered in less than 10 minutes by bicycle, and there are many restaurants along the way. I have reviewed many of them, but there are still some that I have not visited. One of these is the restaurant I visited on a Saturday evening. The place was quite busy, with several customers already seated near the entrance. I sat at a table that was very spacious, enough for about 6 people. I ordered the lunch special Sundubu, which was moderately spicy. The accompanying rice had a sesame oil and salt flavor with Korean seaweed sprinkled on top. The portion size was on the smaller side, but it was enough to complement the meal. The side dishes were tasty but came in small portions, which could easily be finished by reducing the size of the plates. After reviewing the menu photos, I realized that the rice dish I had ordered was actually called "Salad Bibimbap," and the side dishes were meant to accompany it.

I visited for the second time. I ordered the 3000 yen course and was surprised by the portion size. I enjoyed a variety of classic Korean dishes such as chijimi, chapchae, tteokbokki, bibimbap, and samgyeopsal with a good balance. The quality of the food was solid. Considering the location in Ginza and the portion size, I think it's hard to find a Korean restaurant with such good value. The restaurant was full, so I will make a reservation for my next visit.

It was delicious! My friend and I, two girls, visited this restaurant and we were satisfied with the portion sizes of the meals. The atmosphere of the restaurant was calm and nice, so I thought it would be a good place to come with coworkers. There were small partitions between tables, giving a semi-private feeling, which was nice.

I visited this restaurant on a whim the night before, but it was fully booked with reservations. I had stayed at a nearby hotel a few times before, but I had no idea there was a place to eat Samgyetang (Korean ginseng chicken soup) so close by! I was excited, but when I visited the next day for lunch, I was disappointed. It was crowded as the restaurant had just opened. Although there were seats available when I arrived, it quickly filled up with people. I was so focused on the Samgyetang that I didn't pay attention to the other menu items. However, the Jijimi (Korean pancake) lunch that the person next to me was eating looked delicious, and the sizzling Bibimbap that the person across from me was eating also looked tasty.
