Located in Akasaka, the Japanese restaurant "Akasaka Shiki An Yoetsu Kani Fugu". It used to be in Ginza, but in 2019, it relocated to Akasaka. It is part of the Shiki An Group, with its headquarters in Yonago City, Tottori Prefecture, and it is known for its high-end restaurants in Tokyo. They focus on ingredients from the "San'in region" of Shimane and Tottori prefectures, using the best seasonal ingredients such as crab, pufferfish, nodoguro, and Manyo beef. The restaurant has a counter with 7 seats and one private room. The full course of hair crab costs 38,500 yen (excluding tax). The owner is Mr. Yoetsu Wakabayashi. The dishes I enjoyed included hair crab jelly with yuba, crab, and "SELEVIAR caviar" from Shimane Prefecture. The dishes were well presented and delicious, showcasing the best ingredients of the season. The total bill for one person was approximately 43,000 yen. The combination of delicious ingredients from the San'in region and traditional Japanese cooking techniques made the meal satisfying for anyone.

The course is almost entirely made up of crab dishes, making it the ultimate place to satisfy your crab cravings. Unlike all-you-can-eat crab restaurants, each dish is carefully crafted and the flavors are refined. It was great to be able to enjoy a hairy crab course that is not commonly found in other restaurants.

This was my first visit. I love both crab and blowfish, so I was delighted by this combination. The restaurant is located in a quiet area in Akasaka, and has an atmosphere that would make you proud if you knew about it. It has a counter and private rooms, just the right size. The meal started with a dish of persimmon and red snow crab, followed by grilled blowfish with figs. It's wonderful to combine delicious ingredients with fruits. I was also pleased to see plenty of matsutake mushrooms. It was very comforting served in a warm bowl. By the way, the dishes here are mostly gold, giving off a luxurious vibe. However, it's not tacky, but rather used in a lovely way. I enjoyed the crab with crab miso luxuriously. The finale of the clay pot rice was also wonderful. It had a rich aroma with plenty of crab and crab miso. And when you piled it into the teacup, there was also plenty of salmon roe. Luxurious. It was a very delicious and pleasant restaurant. I would like to use it for a date. With private rooms available, it's perfect for bringing along someone special.

In November 2019, "Youetsu" moved from Ginza to Akasaka. Despite not having any reviews on Tabelog after a year, I decided to visit with some excitement. I was searching for a place to enjoy the seasonal flavor of Matsuba crab, and this place popped up, so I thought it must be fate. In the end, I was completely satisfied! I wanted to eat snow crab, but didn't want to get tired of it, so I mentioned that I preferred a course with crab included in a regular way, and they kindly accommodated my request. First, I had the Matsuba crab in a box. The delicate meat with the rich harmony of internal and external organs that can only be enjoyed at this time of year. For the male crab, I had sashimi, shabu-shabu, and crab rice to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed the seasonal flavors of the Sea of Japan! Overall, the dishes were more about the simplicity of the delicious ingredients rather than elaborate preparation. The broth in the soup and crab shabu-shabu could have had a bit more depth, but each dish was carefully prepared and enjoyable. The omakase course I had for 18,000 yen included: Lily root surinagashi, yuba, sea urchin, Matsuba crab, crab and potato soup, grilled blackthroat seaperch with liver sauce, cod milt miso pickles, Wagyu beef fillet, crab rice, black sugar pudding, Japanese sugar, persimmon, and black sugar caramel. The selection of sake and wine was also impressive. I tried Fukuoka's Wakanami and Akita's Shinsei, both with elegant and delicious flavors. The chef seemed kind and sincere, adding to the cozy atmosphere of the 6-seat counter (with private rooms available). Since there was very little information available, I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be a lovely place to enjoy good Japanese cuisine casually. I decided to rate it a bit higher to support the restaurant industry.

We chose this restaurant based on the desire of a companion who wanted to eat crab. The overall flavors were polite and gentle. The portion size was just right, not too much. The dessert was also well-prepared and delicious. While the flavors weren't overpowering, it was a nice place to leisurely enjoy a meal. There were about 10 types of sake available, with around 3 from Shinsei Brewery, which I thought was a good choice. I'm not familiar with sake for Japanese cuisine, but there were also a decent variety of wines available. If you are going to Akasaka, I think it's a good option to consider. It was a good restaurant.
