On July 1st, I visited a shaved ice shop that opened near Iwamoto-cho and Akihabara. The location is a 3.4-minute walk from Iwamoto-cho Station on the Toei Shinjuku Line, a 6.7-minute walk from Akihabara Station on the JR Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, and Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, and a 7.8-minute walk from Kanda Station on the JR Yamanote Line, Keihin-Tohoku Line, Chuo Line, and Tokyo Metro Ginza Line. The opening hours are from 11:30 am to 6 pm, but they may close once they run out of shaved ice. They will have evening hours on August 23rd, with the last order at 8 pm. The regular holidays are August 14th, 15th, 19th, 21st, and 28th. For future holidays, please check their Instagram. I passed by on my bicycle on June 25th and saw flowers and a shaved ice shop, so I decided to visit around 2 pm. There are about 6 counter seats and 3 small tables for 2 people each. I was seated at a table. The shop opened on July 1st, and June 25th was a pre-opening. The menu includes "My Strawberry" (1,500 yen), "My Peach Tea" (1,600 yen), "Choco Banana Cream" (1,200 yen), "My Zunda" (1,800 yen), and "My Tomato Pasta" (1,000 yen). I ordered "My Strawberry" (1,500 yen). The pre-opening prices were a bit cheaper. The shop is run by a couple who quit their jobs to open a shaved ice shop. There are 3 staff members, all of them very attractive. The wait time was reasonable. "My Strawberry" arrived and looked beautiful. It consisted of fresh strawberry sauce, milk espuma, almond crunch, mascarpone cream, and fresh strawberries. The taste was delicious, with a cold shaved ice texture that was different from the current trend but very enjoyable. The milk espuma and mascarpone cream paired well with the strawberries. The portion size was quite large, so it might be challenging to finish alone. Overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
