After visiting the outlet park, my husband and I enjoyed a healthy and diverse all-you-can-eat meal at a Japanese and organic food restaurant. There were plenty of vegetables, but we also indulged in fried chicken, mackerel, potatoes, curry, udon, gratin, and more. The dessert selection ranged from fruits to cakes, and we ate to our heart's content for 90 minutes. If you focus on vegetable dishes, you can enjoy a lot of food without feeling heavy the next day.

The restaurant is located inside the Mitsui Outlet Park in Minami Osawa. It seems to be popular among local women who come in groups. The lunch buffet costs 1758 yen and the soft drink bar costs 273 yen. The buffet mainly consists of Japanese-style dishes with a focus on vegetables, which are lightly seasoned. There is limited meat and fish options, with only chicken and grilled mackerel available. For those looking to consume protein, the options may be lacking. Carbohydrate options include white rice, multi-grain rice, cold udon, and pasta. There is also spicy soup curry and udon with tempura. The Vongole pasta had summer vegetables, but the clams were merely decorative and lacked any clam flavor in the noodles.

After hiking, I chose a restaurant based on "unusual ingredients" among four options. I didn't have high expectations, but the quality of each dish exceeded my expectations. The thin noodle udon was also delicious, and I went for three helpings. When taking food or using the drink bar, disposable gloves are provided. The staff promptly cleared the used gloves, which was a good point. I gave the atmosphere four stars because it was quite empty and comfortable after 2:30 pm on weekdays. The drink bar had fewer options than listed on the menu, giving the impression of limited choices. One issue was that a certain dessert was always stuck to the spoon, making it difficult to transfer to the plate and time-consuming. Despite this, I would consider revisiting occasionally due to the good quality of the food.

In a spacious interior that doesn't feel too large, Asian cuisine is recommended. The roast beef is served every hour (seems like a timed service). The rotation and replenishment of dishes are well done. There is no feeling of leftover food, and it feels clean. It operates on a 90-minute limit on weekdays. I ordered the "adult (1,618 yen)" option. The photo shows my plate. I apologize for the lack of presentation skills. I hope the atmosphere comes across at least. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while since my last visit! The COVID-19 measures included wearing gloves, providing alcohol disinfection, and requiring masks, which was great. The variety of dishes was limited, starting with a salad bar and focusing on Japanese cuisine. The salted mackerel with koji was highly recommended, with a nice amount of fat making it delicious. I was happy to see mixed grain rice available! The sesame vinegar dressing on the vegetables was rich and flavorful. For those looking for heartier options, there were dishes like fried chicken, french fries, and omelette rice, but it may not be suitable for those looking to eat a lot at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The soup curry was on the sweeter side, making it easy to eat. The dessert was a bit disappointing. The drink bar (extra charge) offered tapioca drinks, but they were coffee-based rather than milk tea, and the tapioca lacked the chewy texture. The pound cake was dry, so it would have been nice to have some whipped cream. It was a shame that the chiffon cake and ginger cookies were no longer available. I love natural buffets, so I'm glad I was able to go before the state of emergency was declared. Weekday lunch was 1648 yen plus 273 yen for the drink bar, with a 90-minute limit.

Buffet-style restaurant located inside the Mitsui Outlet Park Tama. Visited Tama mainly for Chikute Bakery. Planned to stay at a hotel with Goto Travel + Tokyo Resident Discount, and the next day go to Mount Takao. Made a lunch reservation at an outlet within walking distance after purchasing bread. The clientele mostly consisted of families and groups of friends. The interior is simple like a family restaurant. Paid with a credit card.
Weekday lunch: Adult 1,648 yen (tax included) + Lunch drink bar 273 yen
The drink bar had a variety of tea bags, and I tried the rooibos tea and ginger genmaicha. The water was lukewarm and weak. The vegetable selection was plentiful, with healthy options like salad and Japanese side dishes. The most delicious was the cranberry-flavored red cabbage. Unfortunately, all the main dishes were disappointing, probably due to the quality of the ingredients. The salmon sushi I tried seemed frozen. The most shocking was the roast beef that everyone gathered around as soon as it was placed on the table. It looked tough, and indeed, it was hard to chew and not tasty at all. I couldn't even swallow it and had to discreetly spit it out into a tissue. The vinyl gloves provided in multiple sheets came in handy. There was only one type of milk tea next to the tapioca. It was different from the picture. Since I didn't want to bother with a straw, I poured the milk tea over the tofu pudding and tapioca and ate it like that. The milk tea was weak and not good, and the tofu pudding didn't taste like soy at all. Oh no, what a disappointment. I became even more unhappy with the dessert.
[Overall Evaluation]
- Staff service
- Thorough COVID-19 measures
- Vegetables were good, but other flavors were lacking
- Goto points can only be earned, not used
In a place like this, can they survive with this kind of taste? I now understand why places like Harvest in the city center have been disappearing. You can't rely on Tabelog ratings in suburban areas where there is no competition among restaurants. I wrote honestly because even if I own shares in the company, my negative review won't affect them. It's actually a 2-star rating, but because the restaurant industry is going through a tough time, I gave it 3 stars. I feel like they should reduce the number of items and improve the taste. If I had just eaten Chikute Bakery sandwiches in the spacious park next door in the warm sunshine, I would have definitely been in a better mood. I made a disappointing choice. Bought a sweater for mountain climbing the next day at the outlet and headed to the hotel. But there are no good hotels in the Tama area...

I went to the outlet in Minamiosawa the other day!! The outlet in Minamiosawa has few dining options, so I always end up going to the same places, but this time I tried the buffet that I had been curious about! ⬛︎Access It's about a 3-minute walk from Minamiosawa Station. ⬛︎Interior There are quite a few seats, but the buffet area is a bit small. ⬛︎Customers There were a lot of families. ⬛︎Ordered All-you-can-eat items included fried chicken, pasta, and more. The menu isn't extensive, but I think it's a place where you can casually enjoy a meal.

I revisited the restaurant in October 2019 around 6:20 pm on a weekday. The place was about 30% full. This time, I chose the "Dinner Buffet" option. Since I have been here a few times before, I skipped the explanations and went straight to start. The menu is mainly focused on vegetables due to its natural food genre, but there are also meat options available, so it's not too one-sided. The tapioca seemed to be an additional charge, and the signage was a bit confusing. I started by filling three plates and surprisingly, there was quite a lot of food, but I managed to finish it all. I could only manage a light dessert.

This is a restaurant located inside the Mitsui Outlet Park in Minami-Osawa. Since the outlet park does not have a food court, this restaurant is one of the few options available and can get quite crowded. They offer a variety of dishes ranging from cold dishes, tempura, simmered dishes, hot dishes, udon, rice, and desserts, all centered around vegetables. My favorite is the burdock tempura, but they also have other vegetable dishes that I enjoy trying. The dessert was disappointing, but overall, I was satisfied with the menu.

Visited again in February 2019, around 11:10 am on a weekday for lunch. The restaurant was about 40% full. This time, it was a "70-minute all-you-can-eat" deal. Please check the main dishes I ate in the photos. I noticed that as it got busier, the spacing between the table seats became a concern. It felt cramped, especially when holding a plate. I understand that they want to fit in as many tables as possible, but for comfort, it made me not want to move much. The 70-minute time limit should be enough to satisfy most people, but personally, I still had room for more. I also had a bit of dessert, but ideally, I would have liked to enjoy more dishes. The menu is mainly vegetable-based, but having some meat options is a nice palate cleanser. I might visit again in the future.

The restaurant is always busy but spacious inside, so it's easy to get a table. The interior is clean, but there are quite a few tables which may make it a bit difficult for families with children to move around. The dishes focus on bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients, with minimal seasoning. For example, the roast beef highlights the taste of the meat, while the miso soup emphasizes the flavors of the ingredients. The desserts are particularly recommended, especially the "Douhua," a dessert similar to almond tofu that was the most delicious with a chewy texture.

I went shopping at the outlet and found a buffet restaurant, so I decided to go in without hesitation! I had heard about this place before and was curious, so it was perfect timing! The menu had a lot of healthy options, like delicious chicken breast simmered in egg and roast beef. There were also onion steaks and Japanese side dishes that I really enjoyed! The only downside was the 70-minute time limit, so you have to constantly keep an eye on the time, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, the food was delicious!

During weekdays at 2 PM, the restaurant is about 20% full, so you can sit at your favorite table and feel relaxed as the tables are spaced apart. The lunch costs around 1500 yen, and there is a drink bar for about 300 yen where you can enjoy unlimited tapioca drinks. The tapioca here is just average, but it's good that they quickly replenish the lunch menu when it's running low. There are plenty of menu options, and gloves are provided for self-service. The drink bar can be used by one person at a time, which is quite rare. I personally enjoyed the soup curry, burdock chips, fried tofu, and soy milk Caesar sauce. I wish they had ginger cookies, but they were not available. The burdock chips are highly recommended for their light texture. After finishing your meal, you can leave the used dishes on the table, and the staff will take care of them. This is the best restaurant I think you can find in the outlet mall.

Outlet lunch use ◆ Atmosphere Wide and clean. ◆ Order flow If there is a line, wait from the entrance. When called, take a seat and order drinks at the bar at that time. There is a receipt. Cash register payment. ◆ Customer base, crowdedness Families and couples, etc. ◆ Stay time I was told within 1 hour, but I didn't stay that long. ◆ Customer service They use new plates, clear empty dishes, and bring out new items quickly when something runs out. ◆ Menu All-you-can-eat on weekends and holidays for ¥1899 + tax, drink bar for ¥199 + tax. ◆ Parking lot There are plenty of parking spaces at the outlet. ◆ Cuisine • Fried chicken • Sweet potato gratin • Omelette rice • Lettuce • Burdock chips • Curry rice • Miso soup • Daikon steak • Chinese salad • Vegetable omelette • Black tea sponge cake • Ginger cookies • Tapioca drinks, etc. There were about 60 or more items. The space was also spacious and nice. The drink bar had a wide variety of teas, so I could compare and enjoy different drinks. It's great to be able to eat as much as you like of what you like.

On the day of the children's field trip, my wife and I went to the outlet early in the morning. We entered the restaurant as soon as it opened at 11 o'clock to have a meal, and I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was despite not having high expectations. The lunch buffet had around 30 different dishes, including desserts. They advertised it as natural food, and the flavors were gentle but very tasty. There were some interesting combinations that stood out, like pickled radish with gravy. My wife even said she wanted to try making it at home. The atmosphere was bright and welcoming, suitable for families with young children. I heard there's a branch in Ikebukuro too, so I plan to invite my nieces and nephews who love all-you-can-eat to go there.

It's a natural food Japanese restaurant that is good for beauty and health. It's a buffet-style, so it's easy to go in. The flavors are gentle, so I never get tired of it. I only go when I visit the outlet, but since it's all good for the body, it helps me relax even my mind.
