I had a solo dinner at the oyster bar in Lumine Est Shinjuku, indulging in a feast of oysters. I arrived around 5:30 pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was already bustling with activity, but there were still seats available at the counter when I entered (solo diners are usually seated at the counter). By the time I finished my meal and left, I noticed that the waiting area was full, indicating the popularity of the place. I have always loved oysters, even during the time when they were avoided by many. I used to buy fresh oysters from the supermarket daily and have them for dinner at home. I particularly enjoy the "milk of the sea" that oysters are often called. I never had the chance to visit Boston, the oyster capital, during my stay on the East Coast of the US, and I never dined at the oyster restaurants in shopping malls; I mostly ate at McDonald's. Since starting to use Tabelog, I had been eyeing the Grand Central Oyster Bar & Restaurant for a long time, but whenever I went to Shinagawa, I ended up at 10zen and never got the opportunity to visit. So, I made up for all the missed opportunities by enjoying a satisfying amount of oysters this time. I ordered the Oyster Tapas Special Platter, which was incredibly delicious. I now understand why the place is so popular. However, the red wine I ordered was too light for my taste, so I ended up ordering a China Blue cocktail, made with lychee and grapefruit, which made my satisfaction level go up to 200%. Here are the items I ordered: Oyster Tapas Special Platter (2680 yen), Oyster Plate with 6 oysters from various regions (2150 yen), a glass of red wine (580 yen), and a China Blue cocktail (650 yen). The dinner time also includes an optional appetizer of crackers and cheese for 300 yen, but you can choose to skip it.

I often enjoy oysters in a unique way, so I visit the Ueno and Tokyo Station branch restaurants frequently, but this was my first time at the Shinjuku location. This time, I ordered the oyster fry lunch set. There were a few reserved seats available, and the restaurant was quite busy, which may have contributed to the relatively long wait for the food to be served. The dish was served after the main dish of the person I was with, so I would appreciate it if they could adjust the timing a bit. The taste was delicious, just like at other branches.

A popular oyster bar with a variety of colorful menus and all-you-can-eat options (*゚∀゚人゚∀゚*)♪♪♪ Featuring "Gaki Taisho" from Murotsu, Hyogo Prefecture, and "Ichimatsu Oysters" from Hirota Bay, Iwate Prefecture, as well as brand oysters from various regions in Japan prepared in various cooking styles. The prices are a bit high, but they often have half-price campaigns, making it a place I would like to visit regularly (/▽\)♪♪♪ Thank you for the delicious meal m(._.)m♪♪♪

Located inside Lumine in Shinjuku, this restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat oyster plan. It is a chain with multiple branches near major stations. Despite being a little late, we were warmly welcomed. The basic set includes fresh oysters, grilled oysters, oyster fry, and more, which is quite filling. The unexpected oyster soup was delicious, and I ended up having multiple servings. We also ordered a bottle of sparkling wine. The fresh oysters were large and creamy, with three different types to choose from, all satisfying. The service for refills was quick. However, I ended up with heartburn sooner than expected and couldn't eat much more. I gave up after about 10 pieces of fresh oysters. Despite feeling a bit queasy, it was a dream come true for oyster lovers. I would love to visit again when my craving for oysters returns.

I was drawn in by the half-price oyster fair. I tried grilled and raw oysters, but... I don't know, the oysters at this restaurant are not tasty at all. Maybe they use old oysters or something, the taste and smell are a bit off, especially the grilled oysters which were small and dried up. The pasta had a cheap thickness and taste that seemed like it could be all-you-can-eat. The low price for oysters during the campaign was good, but overall the taste was disappointing.

I came to this restaurant for the first time because I wanted to eat fresh oysters after a long time! The atmosphere is stylish and feels like a bar. The customers seemed to be mostly young. The service staff treated me normally, so it was neither good nor bad. I had fresh oysters, shrimp ajillo, butter-fried oysters, and wine. The oysters were all fresh and creamy, and delicious. Overall, it's a place I'd like to come back to when I crave oysters again! Thank you for the meal ♫♫

I went to this restaurant because I wanted to eat a spicy stew (curry?) with okra and seafood, originating from Louisiana, USA! Of course, I also had oysters! During lunchtime, I was able to enjoy a large rock oyster at a great price. The seafood flavor was rich, and the curry with the smoothness of okra was a perfect dish to stimulate the appetite in the summer heat. During lunchtime, you can also enjoy champagne by the glass at a great price, making it a luxurious lunchtime with a fantastic lineup!

On Saturday around 1 PM, Lumine was extremely crowded on the 7th floor, but the 8th floor seemed relatively empty. I was dining alone but was seated right away. I ordered the Oyster Cocktail 4P, which was half price from 6/21 to 6/30, and also had the Oyster Fry lunch. It was delicious with fresh oysters topped with salmon roe and sashimi. It might be a lot for one person.

One plate of 8 oysters for about 2500 yen including tax is cheap!! I enjoyed them with lemon and ponzu sauce. Of course, they have a variety of oyster dishes besides raw oysters. This time, I only ordered oysters because that was my main purpose. I plan to come back when they have a half-price promotion.

I visited the restaurant for a cheat day and indulged in eating fresh oysters. I tried various toppings like yellowtail, sour cream, and roast beef, but oysters taste best with ponzu or lemon for a refreshing flavor! I also enjoyed sparkling wine, which I don't usually drink, for a luxurious experience! The sea urchin cream pasta was delicious too!

I have visited this place several times. This time, I came here to overwrite the bad experience I had at another oyster bar the other day, haha. The oyster cocktail with 30 pieces was a must-reserve item. There were 15 types x 2 pieces, and oh my, they were all so delicious!! The cost performance was amazing. The duck meat was also delicious. Alcohol goes down so smoothly from noon onwards. I'm so satisfied that I don't need to eat oysters for a while! Actually, I've been to General several times before, but this time was the most satisfying. Thank you very much! I will come again :)

I stopped by the restaurant area on the top floor of Shinjuku Station building while I was in the area for other errands. I was looking for a unique ramen place to try, but it seemed like the one I had in mind had closed down. As I browsed through other options, I ended up at the "Gumbo & Oyster Bar" at Shinjuku Lumine Est. It had been recommended to me by a beautiful news anchor years ago, and I had visited a few times back then, but somehow I had forgotten about it. They had a half-price special on a plate of fresh oysters, so I decided to start with that. It had oysters from Lake Saroma in Hokkaido, Akasaki in Iwate, Okayama, and Onaga in Nagasaki, allowing me to enjoy a variety of flavors. In the past, when I used to frequent oyster bars, I would order a plate first and then choose my favorites like Senpouji or Akkeshi individually, but tonight those were not available. So, I settled for Asahi and Murotsu, which were also good, but since I have aged a bit, I limited myself to this amount of oysters. I also ordered a hot oyster plate and a variety of grilled oysters. The former included butter sauté, garlic butter sauce, herb bread crumbs, and fried oysters. I usually don't eat fried foods, but tonight I decided to indulge in some fried oysters after a long time. The grilled oysters came in five different flavors - white sauce with spinach, garlic and herb bread crumbs, truffle tartar sauce, sea urchin and oyster soy sauce, and tomato sauce with cheese. The flavors were great, and I was impressed by the creativity in the menu. After having a light meal, I finished with a gratin of oysters and cheese cream. It was a nostalgic experience revisiting Gumbo and other dishes after over a decade, and I look forward to coming back again.

Oyster all-you-can-eat premium course for around 6300 yen. Whenever I want to have all-you-can-eat oysters in Tokyo, I always choose this chain. It gives me a sense of security. Hiroshima is a bit far away now. The oysters this time were fruity and light. As always, they were incredibly delicious. And this time, the oyster fry was a huge hit! It was large and rich in flavor. I feel like it's a great deal for the price. I want to go there about 1 or 2 times a year.

Oyster restaurant on the 8th floor of Lumine Est. I was planning to go to Pho Hanoi, but I saw a lunch sign across the street and suddenly changed my mind. I arrived just before 3 pm, just in time for lunch. It was my first time visiting a business establishment for actual work, although I have attended events before. It's a QR order system, but I was happy to see that they offer chargers for loan. I had forgotten my pocket charger and was in a bit of a bind, so it was a lifesaver (even though it only charged 5%). I ordered the butter sautéed chili lemon flavored oysters (1320 yen), which came with oyster soup and bread (or 18-grain rice). It was served in about 15 minutes. The soup didn't have much oyster flavor, and the bread was soft and chewy. Each oyster came with a slice of lemon, which was nice, but I couldn't find the chili. Also, the salad and oysters were difficult to eat in one bite, so I could have used a knife. I ended up cutting them with the side of my fork, which was a bit messy.

I want to indulge in an oyster feast here!!! I was so surprised~,, I can't believe there's such a delicious restaurant at Lumine Est. Every oyster dish is juicy, large, and full of the scent of the sea! Irresistible!!!! Everything I ordered was delicious. No matter what you order, there are oysters. Too much. They are amazing. They might appear in my dreams tonight. (Complimenting) Of course, there are dishes without oysters as well. The dishes without oysters are also delicious. I laughed. The sweetness of the shrimp in the shrimp carpaccio!! It's so creamy. You can eat it endlessly. I can't drink a drop of alcohol, so I was happy with the rich selection of mocktail menu. There are also plenty of soft drinks. It's fun to order drinks too!!! The interior of the restaurant is luxurious and has a good atmosphere. You can easily order by scanning the QR code and it's self-service. Delicious and stylish. It was so crowded that all the tables were full by 6:30 pm, which is totally understandable. On that day, we sat at the counter. I definitely want to go again!!! Thank you for the meal ^_^

I went alone. I visited the restaurant twice, and the first time the oysters were incredibly delicious, which surprised me. I used to not like oysters, but I suddenly became a fan. The second time, the oysters were smaller and not as flavorful as the first time, so it really depends on the oysters they have in stock. They offer an oyster drinking set, which includes fresh oysters and a drink at a good price. The set also comes with appetizers. There is a counter where you can order using a QR code, making it easy to dine alone. I recommend it for solo dining.

Lumine Est has an oyster bar in the restaurant area. They have a variety of shops, and I decided to try their oyster butter sauté for lunch. The menu has a good selection, and I ordered using mobile order, which is common now due to the pandemic. The service was surprisingly fast. What I had that day (including tax):
- Oyster butter sauté with chili lemon flavor: 1,320 yen
Comes with oyster soup, salad, and multigrain rice.
The oysters were smaller than expected, but the butter sauté was delicious! The price is reasonable. The portion may be a bit small, but the taste is great. I really love oyster butter sauté. They also had oyster soup, which I think had oyster extract in it. It's a simple soup. Lumine Est is targeted towards women, so the portion sizes may not be satisfying for big eaters or men, but it's a nice place for a casual lunch.

I used it for lunchtime this time as well. I was undecided on what to order, but this time there was a half-price fair for fresh oysters, so I ordered the Fresh Oyster Plate (6 pieces), etc. Order details: Fresh Oyster Plate (6 pieces) 1,939 yen *Regular price 3,872 yen Rich Uni and Bacon Carbonara 1,100 yen *Set with Rich Uni and Bacon Carbonara, Oyster Soup, and Salad The Fresh Oyster Plate (6 pieces) is a combination of oysters from Hiroshima's Mijima and Miyagi (raised in Hokkaido's Senhoshi). I squeezed the lemon provided and both oysters were fresh, creamy, and had a delicious slightly salty taste. The Rich Uni and Bacon Carbonara is beautifully presented. It had a creamy and delicious taste. The restaurant has a clean and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff's customer service is polite. They offer safe oysters purified with deep-sea water, which is a great point of their commitment. This is a recommended place, especially for fresh oysters. It is an oyster bar located in Lumine Est Shinjuku.

I went to a Gumbo & Oyster Bar located above Shinjuku Lumine. I wanted to eat fresh oysters, so I ordered 6 pieces. I chose oysters from Iwate that were said to have little fishy taste. The oysters were really delicious without the strong iron flavor. I also ordered oyster fritters, roast beef and oyster salad, oyster risotto, and sea bream carpaccio. Ordering was done through a smartphone, which was a bit confusing at first, but the staff kindly helped me with additional drinks. Finally, I enjoyed a delicious oyster soup. Thank you for the meal!

I visited because I was in Shinjuku for work. The pasta of the day was delicious - Oyster, clam, and seaweed peperoncino. The oysters are from Kurahashi Island, Hiroshima and Akasaki, Iwate. Located inside Lumine Est in Shinjuku, the Gumbo & Oyster Bar was renovated in the fall of 2015. It offers safe oysters that meet strict standards, as well as fresh seafood courses paired perfectly with white wine. Enjoy the highest quality oysters and wine at the Gumbo & Oyster Bar.

I reserved and used a counter seat for a meal with a friend. Although I often visit other affiliated stores like Ueno Sakura Terrace and Ikebukuro Seibu, this was my first time at the Lumine Est store. Unfortunately, I didn't win the scratch on the app membership card today, but I still want to continue visiting without giving up. The system where you order with your smartphone was very convenient, without the need to call for waitstaff. By the way, I noticed that the last soup that was available at other stores was missing here. I wonder if it's because of the specific store or if it's due to the pandemic.
