I went to LDH kitchen THE TOKYO HANEDA to listen to a live performance, and found out that there are limited edition sweets only available at Haneda Airport. It is one of the shops in an area where traditional Japanese sweets shops are gathered. I purchased the following items (excluding tax): - Hauun (Chestnut) 5 pieces for 1250 yen - Hauun for 200 yen I was originally interested in the limited edition Hauun, but I also found seasonal chestnut sweets, so I bought both. The individual sale of Hauun (Chestnut) for 250 yen was sold out. I enjoyed them at home with Japanese tea. The Hauun (Chestnut) is made with finely chopped chestnuts mixed with chestnut paste, sandwiched between a pastry with a cloud pattern. It can last for just under 4 weeks. The Hauun is filled with sweet red bean paste. It can last for just under 3 weeks. I liked the moist and soft pastry paired with the sweet filling. Since I love chestnuts, I preferred the chestnut version. I would like to purchase them again when I visit Haneda Airport next time.

【3 months since my last visit】I forgot to purchase some Japanese sweets at Isetan, so I had to make a last-minute stop here for emergency supplies. While this store may not have the same extensive selection as the Shinjuku Isetan, it definitely carries the signature quality of the Kanesho Jusan brand. I ended up getting a set of Shirohime mochi, which was affordable and safe choice. The taste was undeniably good, with a mild sweetness.【Overview】Located in the middle of Haneda Airport Terminal 1, this is the Kanesho Jusan store in the Japanese confectionery complex area. They also offer original sweets exclusive to Haneda Airport, making it a must-visit for limited edition enthusiasts.

Hokkaido is known for this particular souvenir, so I decided to buy it. The dorayaki has a moist and chewy skin, which gives it a new texture. The red bean paste is sweet and delicious. However, it doesn't quite feel like dorayaki to me. The chestnut paste is incredibly tasty! The chestnut pieces add a nice touch, and the base seems to be white bean paste. Delicious.

I usually buy my sweets at Isetan Shinjuku, but when I'm short on time, I come here. It's been almost 2 years since my last visit to this place. I realized that I haven't been able to travel by plane at all. This time, I bought a package of "Shinshu Moris" that I had never seen before, containing 5 pieces for 1188 yen. But I couldn't read "Shinshu Moris." I mistook the character "守" for "寺," so I thought it was "Shinshanji" instead of "Shinshuji." With the help of the staff, I was able to read it correctly. As for the sweets, the top part made of pounded rice had a strange texture, and I didn't quite like it. The red bean paste filling, on the other hand, was truly delicious, as expected from Kaneshoju-an. [Overview] This is Kaneshoju-an, located in the middle of the first terminal building at Haneda Airport. They offer Haneda Airport original sweets, making it a must-visit for limited edition enthusiasts.

I was looking around various shops to buy souvenirs and ended up trying some samples, which led me to make a purchase. This is also a Haneda Airport exclusive snack. It's a half-moon shaped dorayaki with a simple and stylish cloud-shaped branding. The dough is soft yet chewy, and the sweet red bean paste is not too sweet, making it elegant and delicious. I like dorayaki, but sometimes they can be too sweet and make me crave tea. However, "Hanun" is a tasty snack that can be enjoyed without tea, with a refreshing taste.

In the middle of the departure lobby of Haneda Airport Terminal 1, there is a special selection Japanese confectionery shop called Kanshojusan. They have various sweets like "amo," which is mochi wrapped in sweet bean paste, and chestnut wagashi that you might have seen in department store basements. However, the staff recommended their airport exclusive "Hanun"! It's a fluffy and chewy dorayaki with a light blue package that suits the airport vibe. The dorayaki dough was like a pancake, and the sweet bean paste was delicious, making it a new kind of dorayaki. Hanun is available in a pack of 5 for 1,080 yen or 10 for 2,160 yen. I bought it as a souvenir, and my family loved it too!

[Revisit after 1 year and 3 months] Before boarding the afternoon flight, I decided to buy some souvenirs here. I usually go for "Amo," but this time they had a special plum wine version called "Reigetsu Amo" priced at 1,300 yen. The fact that it's a treat for the "Reiwa" era makes it quite celebratory. And being a plum wine version, regardless of the fact that it's not February, it's sure to be a hit when given as a gift. Kaneshoju-an is always a reliable choice, but this time it was exceptional. The taste is the usual delicious Amo, but the plum wine version had a lovely hint of plum wine aroma. [Overview] Located in the middle of the first terminal building at Haneda Airport, this is the renowned Kaneshoju-an. They offer Haneda Airport exclusive sweets, making it a must-visit for limited edition enthusiasts.

【Returning after a year】I realized at the airport that I should have bought a souvenir, and this shop is incredibly useful for such moments. This time, I got the Haneda Airport limited edition "Tokyo Shiomai @ 1080 yen". It's priced for 5 pieces, so the unit price per piece is decent. It's a combination of pie crust and sweet bean paste, but the an from Kanshojusan is not too sweet, so it was easy to eat. It's a good item not just because it's a limited edition, but because it's from Kanshojusan. 【Overview】Located in the middle of the 1st terminal building at Haneda Airport, it's that Kanshojusan shop in the Japanese confectionery complex area. They offer original sweets exclusive to Haneda Airport, making it a must-visit shop for limited edition enthusiasts.

At Haneda Airport in Tokyo, I'm browsing for souvenirs. I've seen a variety of souvenirs at Haneda Airport, but I'm starting to feel a bit tired of them. Each one has its own appeal, but I feel like there's not much variety. It would be great if there were more authentic antenna shops like at Tokyo Station's Gransta, which change regularly, making me more inclined to buy souvenirs at Haneda Airport. If those antenna shops aren't good, then I end up buying souvenirs at the airport as an alternative, so it would be nice to consider that. The mochi shop in Ikebukuro has been there for a long time, almost like a permanent fixture. However, the sections selling delicious local specialties and Haneda Airport limited edition sweets are also appealing. Although the selection may seem somewhat fixed, there are probably more people who fly in and out of the airport than those who take connecting flights, so it makes sense. Kaneshojuan is a traditional Japanese sweets shop that always has interesting offerings, so it doesn't feel monotonous. The shop has a modern and pop feel, and their signature sweet, Jin Daiko from Kumamoto, is a delightful treat made with mochi wrapped in large red beans. The fluffy mochi adds a nice touch, making it a highly enjoyable sweet.

First Visit (July 2017, Sunday, around 4pm [TakeOut]): A dorayaki that has been on sale exclusively at Haneda Airport since April this year. "Hanun" 5 pieces for 1,080 yen (tax included) and 10 pieces for 2,160 yen (tax included). Despite the reasonable price, it has a substantial weight and is quite cost-effective as a souvenir. I bought it as a souvenir for my family, so I tried it as soon as I got home, haha. True to its catchphrase, it has a fluffy and chewy texture... no, it's quite chewy. It has plenty of sweet bean paste, which I liked. Just like how some people prefer pancakes to be firm or fluffy, this dorayaki might also have its fans and critics. Fresh food items are not the easiest choice for souvenirs, but with a shelf life of about 15 days, it's convenient to give as a gift in 5 or 10 piece packs. However, as a gift for someone unrelated, it feels a bit risky. It's more suitable for personal or family use. Thank you for the meal.

After trying a sample, I found it to be very delicious so I decided to purchase it (*'ω'*) *Haneun (5 pieces) The fluffy and chewy texture of the dough is so delicious~♡ This fits perfectly in my hand and really hits the spot for me (*'ω'*) It feels more like a Chinese steamed bun than a dorayaki. When I bought the 5-piece pack, it was quite heavy (lol) Since it's limited to Haneda Airport, I think it would make a great souvenir!!

I found a traditional Japanese confectionery shop called Kansho Jusan in the complex area of Haneda Airport Terminal 1 building. I came across a new Haneda Airport original sweet called "Hauun @ 1080 yen" that was released that month, and without hesitation, I got it. It costs @216 yen per piece, which is considered quite expensive for a traditional Japanese sweet. It's amazing how the brand power can make even a middle-aged man who doesn't particularly like traditional Japanese sweets like me fall into a "GET" state. When I tried it, it was an elegant sweet with a refined impression, featuring a dorayaki with a wing-shaped pattern. I guess I'm just a foolish man with an unsophisticated palate who can only describe Kansho Jusan's traditional Japanese sweets as dorayaki... (laughs)

I purchased this snack that is exclusive to Haneda Airport! When I passed by the store, the staff let me try a sample! It was delicious, so I bought it. Inside the pie crust, there is sweet bean paste and apricot. The combination of the sweetness from the bean paste and the tartness from the apricot creates a refreshing taste. The pie crust is not super flaky like a buttery croissant, but rather slightly moist. I ate one as is, and tried warming the second one in a toaster oven to enjoy a crispier texture, but there wasn't much of a difference. It seems like there isn't a lot of butter in the crust. Nonetheless, it is a tasty snack. However, without the apricot, I still prefer the Norseman from Senkyoan.

This is a traditional Japanese confectionery shop located on the second floor of Haneda Airport Terminal 1. They have multiple stores nationwide. I purchased their "Amoto Dorayaki" this time. The "Amo" inside is a sticky and chewy mochi-like substance, while the outer coating is made of slightly less sweet red bean paste. It feels like you are enjoying a refined and luxurious Japanese sweet. The dorayaki has a moist texture with red bean paste inside, similar to the "Amo." It was delicious.

I went to the drift ice spot on the Sea of Okhotsk for two weeks straight with a big smile on my face. I wrote messages on cardboard every day and hung them up in front of the fixed camera installed in the glass hall. A total of 150,000 people have seen it. I waved to the seals, danced with the ice sculptors, and even did the EXILE dance. Before the interview team arrived, I wrote "dorayaki" as a souvenir idea. And they actually bought it for me. It was a delight to eat the ones you can buy at Haneda Airport. They were soft and delicious.

This is a souvenir from my daughter. She bought it for me because it looked delicious, and it seems to be a limited edition item sold at Haneda Airport. It is made of pie crust filled with sweet red bean paste and candied plum. At first glance, I thought it might be like a Norseman, but it doesn't really feel like a pie bun. I'm happy that she has grown up to be a child who doesn't care about trivial things and doesn't mind what she chooses.
