On November 2, 2021 (Tuesday), I had a late breakfast at Mos Burger in front of Ukima-Funado Station, which is the 2869th station in Tokyo. This station straddles the neighborhoods of Itabashi and Kita, so the station front has McDonald's, Matsuya, My Curry Dining on the Itabashi side, and Matsuya, Mos Burger, Family Mart on the Kita side. The station name, Ukima-Funado, reflects the boundary between the two neighborhoods, similar to other stations like Akabane-Iwabuchi and Kotake-Mukaihara. I arrived at Mos Burger around 9:30 am and quickly ordered a Spicy Mos Burger and a Vanilla Shake. The total was ¥620. The Spicy Mos Burger had the same great taste with the jalapeno spiciness and unique sauce. The Vanilla Shake was simple yet delicious, with a strong vanilla flavor. Overall, I enjoyed the meal and thought that it was a good value for the price.

I was feeling hungry and wandering around when I stumbled upon Mos Burger! I decided to go for it and ordered right away. Lately, I've been eating chicken nuggets more often as takeout, but they tend to get soggy on the way home. It's a bit disappointing. The nuggets fresh from the store are crispy and delicious!

Located along the rotary in front of Ukima-Funado Station is Mos Burger. It was crowded during lunchtime. The restaurant had more seating than expected from the outside. I got a seat, placed my order at the counter, and informed them that I would be dining in. They even checked on the seating availability for me. This thoughtful gesture was very characteristic of Mos Burger! I enjoyed a refreshing iced coffee. It was cool and refreshing, and I found it delicious. There were magazines available and a space for children to play, making the atmosphere cozy at Mos Burger!

I stopped by a cafe to kill some time since I was nearby. It was a holiday at 2 PM and surprisingly crowded, almost full! Only the window-side counter was available. This time, I ordered a soy milk dessert set. I chose the strawberry mousse and coffee. The mousse on top of the sponge was quite sour, which was unexpected. I wanted a fruity flavor, so the lack of sweetness was good. The portion size was just right. The cafe is non-smoking, but the terrace seats were for smokers. The counter seats near the entrance can smell like smoke when someone is smoking. Also, there were quite a few families with children. Maybe because there are many apartment buildings or a park nearby. Despite that, customers kept coming in one after another. I thought the same when I visited Matsunoya last time, but it seems like there are few shops near the station. It would be nice to have more cafes or Italian restaurants, places where young families would like to go, instead of just bars.

I came to the Mos Burger for a great lunch deal at Ukima-Funado Station in Kita Ward. When I exited the ticket gate, there was a rotary in front of me and a park right across. I had the limited-time Menchi Katsu Burger Salad Set in size M for only 140 yen. The set was a good deal, and they even subtly highlighted it on the receipt (lol). The Menchi Katsu Burger had a crispy texture and was delicious. The salad set had just the right amount. Mos Burger is a reliable choice as it is found almost everywhere. Now, I'm heading back to work.*\(^o^)/*

I tried the new "Mos Burger" which changed its patty in late April 2013. The shop is located right outside the exit of Ukima-Funado Station. The new patty is now made of 100% beef, resulting in a softer texture and juicy meat. The tomato sauce seemed a bit sweeter than before. However, the changes may not be noticeable unless pointed out, and the overall difference from the previous version was not dramatic. Nevertheless, the appeal of enjoying a freshly made, hot and vegetable-rich burger remains strong at this restaurant.

They also reimburse the phone bill, so I always make a reservation when buying here. My personal recommendations are: - Natsuki (a burger with lettuce instead of bread, perfect for summer) - Pork Cutlet (juicy and delicious, not heavy) - Fish (crispy fried fish with lettuce, a great combination) - Moss Burger (their signature burger with great sauce) - Teriyaki Chicken (tasty and slightly charred) - Spicy Chili Dog (not too spicy but has a nice kick, better than the nearby McDonald's) They have a good selection of desserts as well. Prices are reasonable (around 300 yen) and the flavors are rich and satisfying. Some people may be put off by the wait time, but once you get used to making a reservation, it's a great place. Especially in Fumagaiwatashi where there are few options. Highly recommended for locals!
