Standing bar in Shinjuku 3-chome. I was able to get in right away on a Tuesday evening around 8 o'clock. There is a counter with a staff member right in front of you, so the drinks and food come out quickly, which is nice. I ordered a plate of 5 skewers to start. The boiled tongue was soft and delicious.

Using the excuse of having plans later, I decided to have a solo standing drink at the pre-drinking session. I ordered a bottle of beer - first, belly, backstrap, and white. I only stayed for about 30 minutes, but I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely go again. Shops that serve grilled offal dishes are delicious.

The proximity is not great, but being a branch of Motsuyaki Numata, the quality of the otsumami (snacks) is high. However, it is disappointing that the food and grilling level are high. It is a standing bar, so it may be good for those who want to drink cheaply and comfortably. I might not visit again...

Is this hachinosu? It's not the sweet honey taste, but rather a type of beef hormone. The second stomach of the cow, known as hachinosu, resembles a honeycomb, hence the name. It is rich in minerals and collagen, making it a delicious and nutritious choice. The standing bar for the second round of drinks in Kabukicho is a lively place called "Nihon Saisei Sakaba" in Shinjuku Sanchome. The atmosphere is vibrant and the food is delicious, with dishes like yamaimo tanzaku and various types of grilled offal. The sake selection is impressive, and the overall experience is enjoyable. Despite planning to catch the last train, the night ended with a cigar at a bar, ramen in Kabukicho, and eventually taking a taxi home.

Third visit. I can't eat grilled pork skewers, so you may wonder why I came here again. Well, the reason is that I received my first ever "gyara" (grilled pork belly) here last time and I was hooked. I tried it at other places afterwards, but it just didn't have the same impact. Having the gyara here again after a long time, I was once again impressed by the juicy fat and great texture. I want to eat like 5 of them! The sweet sauce is delicious, maybe I'll try it with salt next time. That first gyara experience at this restaurant was so good, I probably won't order it anywhere else again. Anyway, I highly recommend you all to order it. Also, the simmered tripe is a must-try, both beef and pork. It's so tender and flavorful, with a gentle seasoning that satisfied me. They split our order for two people into two servings, which was a nice touch. And I really love the cabbage and shiso appetizer they serve here, it's simple but tasty. But when I found out it costs 300 yen as a cover charge at the end, I was like, hmm, for standing bar style and this amount of cabbage pickles, 300 yen is a bit pricey. The total bill was around 6500 yen, which felt a bit high for a standing bar. I went home feeling a bit puzzled, but I know I'll probably come back just for the gyara. Thank you for the meal.

There is a standing bar diagonally across the street with a good selection of motsu-yaki and tasty appetizers. It's convenient and allows smoking, which is appreciated. It's easy to have a daytime drink around Shinjuku Sanchome area on weekends, but on weekdays there are fewer options, so this place seems to be relatively busy during the day. I tried the beef tongue skewers this time, and they had a nice firm texture and chewiness. The skewers had a slightly burnt flavor, but overall they made a good appetizer. The place seemed short-staffed as it was almost full and running with just one person that day.

I finally got to visit a restaurant that an acquaintance recommended as being delicious, although it's always crowded and I couldn't get in before. I ordered a simple chu-hi for my drink. The sliced white liver was tasty, but the flavor was a bit strong. Overall, the food went well with the alcohol, giving off a typical izakaya vibe. The foie gras was served with a generous amount of green onion sauce, which I enjoyed. I love liver, so I was pleasantly surprised to find 8 pieces in the dish. The boiled tongue was incredibly tender and delicious, with a mild and gentle seasoning that was just right. For the skewers, I decided to try something different and ordered temple, cow's throat, and bee larvae. Personally, I really liked the cow's throat! It was delicious. The bee larvae were slightly burnt and overly seasoned, which was a bit disappointing.

Today, I went on a bar hopping adventure in Shinjuku 3-chome! Even though it was only 3:30 PM, half of the restaurant was already buzzing with customers. The pig's cartilage was a bit noisy, but delicious. I tried three types of trachea - trachea, tracheal valve, and throat whistle - seasoned with salt and pepper. The outside was crispy while the inside was juicy with fat. Really tasty! I also had another trachea with just salt, no pepper. Delicious! Lastly, I had green onion liver. It was fresh and exquisite! By 4:00 PM, the place was packed. This spot is definitely a great place for day drinking. It was delicious! Oh, I forgot to take photos, haha.

A standing bar in Shinjuku San-chome. Started with a half and half drink, which was easy to drink and good. Next, tried the extremely spicy stew, which had a heat that went well with the alcohol, and even just sipping the broth was delicious. Also ordered various types of yakitori, which were tender and flavorful when chewed. The vegetable skewers were also excellent. The total cost for two people was around 7600 yen. Although it is a standing bar, it is not cheap, but rather a place that offers delicious food at a reasonable price. Many alcoholic drinks are priced over 500 yen, so it would be nice if the alcohol was a bit cheaper, but overall I was very satisfied. [Rating] ★★★★★★★ 7/10

I visited around 7 pm on Saturday. It was almost full (standing room only), but luckily there were two seats available in the corner and we were able to sit down. I ordered a highball (switched to lemon sour at the end), celery pickles, and vinegar motsu. The appetizer was something like cabbage and cucumber pickles, which was probably the most delicious. The waiter kept recommending yakitori to us, but we stubbornly refused to order it, haha. Maybe we should have ordered it after all... The efficiency of the staff was truly impressive, from the timing of refilling the beer mugs, guiding us to the restroom, to the speed of making drinks. I was mesmerized watching from the counter, haha.

This standing bar is perfect for those who want to casually drop by for a drink alone after another place. The retro atmosphere is welcoming, and you can order individual skewers of offal and hormone dishes. The energetic staff adds to the lively atmosphere of the place. However, the drink prices in Osaka do make you realize how expensive it can get to have a casual drink at one place. I will definitely be coming back to this place in the future! Great for a quick standing drink! I had 10 minutes to spare, so I popped in. You can order skewers individually, which is convenient, and the flavors are pretty good. The quality can vary depending on the cut, but for this price, it's worth it. I was a bit concerned about the smoking being allowed, but it was okay this time since it was ventilated. I'll definitely come back again!

Had our year-end party at Japan Saisei Sakaba, the second store of Ishii Group. I used to go to Chofu and Kunigawa quite often before, but didn't have the chance recently, so I came here instead. The simmered tongue was really delicious! Both the grilled skewers and simmered dishes were all tasty. A restaurant with no disappointments.

You can enjoy delicious and reasonably priced motsunabe at Ishii Group. The restaurant has an easy-to-enter atmosphere facing the outside, but it always seems to be crowded. There is only standing room available outside. I sat at the counter seat. It can get quite hot in the summer. I wished for a bit more cool air, but the food is delicious and comes out quickly, which is a plus.

I always use the izakaya in Shinjuku Sanchome at night, and I was surprised to find out that they have started serving lunch as well. It was my lucky day to visit Sanchome after a long time. I ordered an eel bowl and it was delicious. As expected, the izakaya is great at night, but they also put effort into their lunch menu. Despite the current situation, it's a wonderful place where you can feel energized when you visit. I will definitely go back again!

It feels like a chain restaurant, but the sauce for the grilled pork tongue is amazingly delicious. The liver is also cooked perfectly. It's been a while since I last came, but this might be my favorite grilled pork tongue place. [Drink] Kirin Lager (medium bottle) [Appetizer] Complimentary liver, heart, and small intestines. The grilled pork tongue place in Nakano-Sakaue was good too, but the cooking here really stands out. I feel like I don't need to go anywhere else, this place is good enough.

At a popular standing bar at the entrance of deep Shinjuku, I visited after a few years with a group of friends. There were many affiliated stores in this area. We sat at the counter in front of the grill and started with a half-and-half of Kirin's black draft beer. We enjoyed skewers, sashimi prepared with low-temperature cooking, and simmered tripe. The simmered tripe had a strong garlic flavor, but it turned out to be delicious and satisfying. The tongue sashimi with sesame oil and salt was a perfect combination. The grilled dishes, such as rare grilled liver with green onion salt, were seasoned well with salt or soy sauce, enhancing their individual flavors. Each dish was a bit pricey but had a consistently delicious taste.

I dropped by around evening time. The place was still bustling as usual. The motsu-yaki was delicious as always. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also fantastic. On this day, there were also foreign tourists enjoying their food and drinks. My favorite is the tare-yaki rather than the shio-yaki. I really think the tare-yaki at this restaurant is delicious. The specialty dish of hiyayakko is also amazing with its unique twist.

There are many types of hormone dishes and rare cuts like tan-tataki that will make any man excited. Recommended skewers include chire, teppo, harami, and negi. You can enjoy the same taste as the Chofu main store in Shinjuku from 3 o'clock, making it a valuable place for day drinking. Although there are also locations in Chitose-Karasuyama, Sengawa, and Kunio, this standing bar is surprisingly comfortable.
