Located a 3-minute walk from Ebisu Station, this restaurant is in a great location. I was drawn in by the signboard menu offering a "Giant Fried Horse Mackerel" during a late lunch hour. It's quite handy to visit before 3 PM for lunch. The interior has counter seats and table seats, with no shared seating. It was popular with a full house around 2 PM on weekdays, with many solo diners. The grilled mackerel seems to be a popular choice. - Giant Fried Horse Mackerel Set Meal (1450 yen) comes with 3 types of sashimi (octopus, bonito, tuna) and a side dish (grated yam). Rice and miso soup are free for refills. The giant fried horse mackerel lives up to its name! The crispy coating is well-fried, and the mackerel inside is thick and tender. It's a delight that they provide plenty of tartar sauce. The cabbage is also served in a generous portion. The sashimi is sufficient as a side dish for this price range set meal, and the unlimited rice and miso soup are generous. It's understandable why it's always full of customers. The energetic service from the chefs and the pleasant atmosphere make it a comfortable stay. I would like to try the ginger pork next time.

I visited around 6 pm on a regular night without a reservation, and we were the only customers there, so I think it's relatively easy to get in without a reservation! The taste was not particularly outstanding, and both the appearance and flavor felt like a chain izakaya. I don't think I will come back again! Thank you for the meal (^^)

It was a shop I happened to come across!!! I was worried about whether I could get in because it was quite crowded, but I was able to get in right away, and the menu was rich in variety. Everything I ordered was delicious without fail! There were many types of alcohol, including a variety of sake, and I was disappointed that I couldn't try the fresh oysters and scallops with butter and soy sauce because they were sold out, so I want to go back again!

Four of us girls visited the restaurant. We had a private room with a nice atmosphere, but since the top was open, we could hear the loud voices from the party next door with over 20 people. If you don't mind the noise, it's totally fine. The recommended sashimi was very thick and delicious! I would like to use this restaurant again for another gathering.

Visited with my boss. It's a bit pricey but incredibly delicious! Since my boss treated me this time, I'm not sure about the prices. The sea urchin rice bowl is dangerously delicious! Definitely try it if you visit! Also, the fried horse mackerel is huge! It's thick and filling! The Thai-style minced fish goes well with alcohol! It's refreshing compared to minced fish like horse mackerel. However, the white fish milt (hamo?) didn't suit my taste. If you expect it to be like cod milt, you'll be disappointed. Be cautious.

It is recommended to enjoy your meal while watching the skilled artisans at work at this spacious counter. This popular restaurant is a sister store of "Mon" located at Ebisu East Exit.

We used this restaurant for a company's end-of-year party! The atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and had a calm vibe. We had about 10 people and were able to enjoy ourselves without worrying about the surroundings in a semi-private space. The all-you-can-drink menu included sake, so we could enjoy various kinds of alcohol. We ordered the course meal, and each dish was beautifully presented with luxurious tableware! It's a restaurant where you can enjoy both the taste and the presentation, so I would like to use it again!

I found a well-established restaurant with energetic chefs and a lively atmosphere. The popular menu items like sashimi set and horse mackerel fry set were already sold out that day. I ordered the mixed fry set (1200 yen including tax). It came with shrimp, squid, oyster, white fish fry, and fresh sashimi from the local area. The fry had a crispy and light texture, and the seafood inside was tender and delicious. I was particularly impressed by the miso soup, which was rich in flavor and incredibly tasty. The miso soup alone was so good that it made me want to eat more rice!

I went drinking in Ebisu with my colleagues. We went to an izakaya located quite close to the west exit. The exterior looks beautiful and very Ebisu-like. This place is called Fujimon, but apparently there is a restaurant called Mon at the east exit. When I saw the curtain, I thought it said "all private rooms" but upon closer inspection, it was only for the "back of the store". Many people might only notice the leftmost "all private rooms". Since it was a Friday, the restaurant was very crowded. We had reserved a booth seat so it was not a problem in terms of privacy. The staff seemed energetic and well-organized, probably because they have multiple restaurants. It's a nice place, so it might be easy for women to enter. The recommended menu for today is mostly seafood. The prices for each dish are generally over 1,000 yen, so it seems unlikely to spend less than 5,000 yen if you eat and drink normally. There are various types of sashimi available. It's a seafood-oriented restaurant. There is also a wide selection of dishes on the grand menu. I have also listed the drink menu at the bottom. ■Bottled Beer (880 yen) The brand of bottled beer is Sapporo Red Star. I thought it would be Sapporo since it's Ebisu, but the draft beer was Premium Malt. It's a medium-sized bottle for 880 yen, typical Ebisu prices. ■Sake (1,050 yen~) Considering the food, I decided to switch to sake after one beer. The appetizer was fresh shirasu. The appetizer was quite bold. ■Yellowtail Daikon (1,180 yen) The yellowtail daikon had a slightly rough texture. The dryness was a bit of a concern. ■Ankimo Ponzu (980 yen) The fresh ankimo ponzu was in good condition. ■Amberjack (1,480 yen) Amberjack is said to be "Kanpachi is usually farmed for 2-3 years before shipping, but Amberjack is raised for 4-5 years." When I tried it, it had an unbelievable amount of fat. The level of fat was so high that I thought it might not be necessary for the age. It was just amazing, there's no doubt about that. ■Thread-sail Filefish (1,180 yen) Overall, the raw fish dishes were in good condition. ■Grilled Swordfish Cheeks When I asked for Suzuki (sea bass) for the grilled fish cheek dish, they brought me Maguro (tuna) cheeks instead and said, "Suzuki was out of stock so we substituted it with Maguro." I didn't understand why they didn't tell me before changing it. ■Ebi Tempura Assortment (1,280 yen) Since there were many cold dishes, we had tempura at the end. Overall, it was a bit pricey, but considering it's Ebisu and not far from the station, with a clean interior. Given the location, this might be the right price range. It's a typical Ebisu restaurant. === [Order] As above, 6,750 yen per person ■Food① ■Food② ■Food③ ■Food④ ■Drink ■Sake ■Seasonal limited sake ■Wine / Soft drink

Seafood mixed tempura and crunchy salad with Kyoto vegetables, grilled fish, and various other dishes were delicious overall, but it was disappointing that the whitebait appetizer had a fishy smell. There were many semi-private rooms visible from the outside but separated, which seemed convenient. Overall, it was not cheap but didn't give the impression of being too expensive.

I went to Fujimon, located about a 1-minute walk from the west exit of Ebisu Station! The store is very clean as it is a recently opened establishment! Although it was a course meal, each dish was luxurious, and I felt like I was able to enjoy a course meal for the first time in a while! They also have a wide variety of drink menu, making it a place where you can enjoy for a long time. I am looking forward to going back to enjoy the course meal again. :)

There was a large wisteria trellis at the elementary school. When the flowers bloomed, it was magnificent and beautiful, bringing back memories of that time. I think there was even a song about the wisteria trellis... I can't remember it now. I love wisteria, Takumon here! Today's place is "Fujimon". It's about a 3-minute skip from Ebisu Station, just off the road next to Kenta. It used to be an izakaya called Yatsun, and the interior is pretty much the same. It seems the owner left, which is why it changed. There's a "gate" on the east side of the station. Gate? Soh Corporation. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. Oh? Yatsun is gone - that's why I went in. The interior has changed a bit, but the overall atmosphere and menu are similar. They used to serve tea with chawanmushi, but now it's just water and no chawanmushi. I used to love chawanmushi, so I'm disappointed. Today, I'll have the "Rosukatsu Teishoku" for 1200 yen, which is a weekly special set meal. Rice and miso soup are refillable, which is convenient. It was brought to me quite quickly after ordering. It looks good. The sashimi is octopus and... I forgot the other one. It was just delicious (laughs). The main dish, rosukatsu, is a good size and comes with plenty of sauce, lemon, mustard, and mayonnaise for seasoning. It was fried well and juicy, although I personally prefer it a bit rarer. The rice and miso soup were so good that I had seconds. They even gave me broccoli on my way out. Thank you. The food, atmosphere, and service at this restaurant are all good, so I think it's a nice place. But I still miss the old Yatsun. Thanks for the meal. Takumon is passing by. Chastity chastity♪

The food is decent, but there were no Japanese sake options listed on the menu, and they displayed empty bottles as if they were full. The staff's customer service is really bad, they can't even provide basic service. They need to improve their professionalism.

I was satisfied with the atmosphere of the restaurant, the food, the service of the staff, and the selection of Japanese sake. And I was even more satisfied because it was cheaper than I had expected.

We used the restaurant for a drinking party with 7 company members. I apologize for not having a photo... I made a reservation online about 3 days ago. This is a relatively new restaurant that opened in March 2022, located in the East Exit of Ebisu, which is a sister store of the popular izakaya "Mon" in the same area. It is about a 2-minute walk from Ebisu Station West Exit, just turn at the road where Kentucky is located, and it is easy to find as it faces the street. The interior of the restaurant offers various types of seating, including counter seats, private rooms for 2 people, and table seats. Since we had 7 people this time, we used the private room at the back of the restaurant. [Ordered Course] Hakodate Direct Octopus Shabu-Shabu Enjoy Course Tax included 4500 yen + Premium All-you-can-drink 2500 yen 1. Appetizer: 4 types of appetizers, red shrimp, duck breast, onion, fresh yuba, wasabi 2. Colorful green salad 3. Assorted fresh fish from the local area (spring buri, medium fatty tuna, sea bream) 4. Octopus shabu-shabu, assorted vegetables 5. Homemade oboro tofu thick grilled tofu 6. Hiroshima Prefecture Oyster Fry 7. Egg rice porridge The dishes included 7 varieties, with fresh sashimi, large pieces of meat, a main dish of octopus shabu-shabu with a good amount, fried food, and egg rice porridge for 4500 yen, which is quite cost-effective. The all-you-can-drink option includes draft beer, sour, soft drinks, several types of sake and shochu in the regular course, but for just an additional 500 yen, you can get a wide variety of Japanese sake, shochu, and domestic gin (Midori), which is highly recommended. The food and drinks were served smoothly, and we had a great time in the calm atmosphere of the restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

Red snapper sashimi goes well with the sake! I also wanted to drink some Japanese sake. The yellowtail daikon and fried chicken were delicious too.

The banquet hall was nice with private rooms where you can enjoy a calm meal. The sashimi had a slight fishy smell, but considering the atmosphere, I thought it was good value for money. Personally, I probably wouldn't come back, but if I were looking for a restaurant that can accommodate reservations for 3 people or more, I would consider revisiting. I forgot to take photos, haha.
