It seems that the restaurant will be forced to relocate, but please continue to do your best at the new location between Shibuya and Ebisu. Located on the first floor of a building with a Tokyu hotel, this burger restaurant has a spacious interior and a chill overall atmosphere. The name reflects the interior and vibe of the restaurant. The image is of enjoying a burger while drinking alcohol. I ordered the signature Chillmatic Burger, which consists of a beef patty topped with pastrami. The pastrami is in such a chunk, it's my first time seeing it like this. In other words, it's meat on top of meat. This pastrami is quite delicious. For meat lovers, this burger with the beef patty and pastrami is irresistible. However, for me, the combination of beef patty and pastrami is like a powerful lineup of home run hitters, and I might prefer a burger with supporting actors like avocado, onions, tomatoes, lettuce, and pickles. Lastly, it seems that the restaurant will have to leave due to changes in the hotel's management structure. I don't know the details, but it's a pity. I hope that they will find a new location and continue to run cool restaurants.

I used it for lunch on a regular day. I could order right away without waiting in line. It took about 10 minutes to wait, and the burger was bigger than I expected. The aged meat patty was tender. Personally, I prefer a coarser grind, but it went well with the buns. The potatoes were also unique and delicious.

So delicious!! Eating blue cheese in such a chunk feels like a sin~ The large mustard seeds also go well with it. The buns are crispy like fried bread, and the patty is thick with coarse ground meat, about 2 cm thick! Am I exaggerating?! But it's that satisfying, paired with my favorite hamburger + potato and soft drink set. The potato fries are long and thick, with the skin on, giving them a wild taste.

Higashibu, SHIBUYABRIDGE's Chillmatic announced that they will be closing at the end of September. So, I went to visit. The nearest station is Shibuya Station. Although it is listed on Tabelog as being in Daikanyama, it is quite far. The interior of the restaurant reminds me of an American diner, with high ceilings giving it a foreign feel. The staff and customers are all sophisticated and create a comfortable atmosphere. When you come here, you must try the CHILLMATIC BURGER. It features a thick pastrami made over a week and aged beef patty, allowing you to fully experience the deliciousness of meat x meat. The balance is not disrupted even with plenty of grain mustard. It pairs perfectly with the sweet brioche buns. They also mentioned that they are currently working on relocating the store, so I will keep an eye on their Instagram account for updates.

For those taking the train, the restaurant is located in a slightly hard-to-reach area at stations like Ebisu or Shibuya. However, despite the inconvenience, it was a great place to visit! I tried the Mozzarella Avocado Burger, and the buns were made of brioche dough, crispy and delicious, and the patty was also tasty, showing a high level of perfection. They also had a good selection of drinks, including craft cola which was delicious. It was so busy that they asked if I had made a reservation when I went, so it might be a good idea to make one in advance.

It was tastier than I imagined! Adding a drink to the potato set costs an additional 550 yen, but it feels like a good deal because you can choose any drink. It's located inside a hotel, so it's convenient that diaper changes and bringing a stroller are allowed. Very grateful for that. Make a reservation!

Before moving from Higashibu, I had dinner at Chillmatic. Started with coleslaw and corned beef oyster fritters from Hiroshima, paired with beer for a toast. For the main course, we ordered two seasonal burgers: the Philly cheese steak with aged meat and the Route beer bacon jam cheese with aged meat. Everything was delicious as always at Chillmatic. It's the best!

I visited Chillmatic, which is ranked 3.70 on Tabelog's Top 5000 in 2023. The location is convenient for those with cars, situated between Shibuya and Ebisu. The exterior has a stylish feel along a back alley street, while the interior is surprisingly spacious and full of openness. It has the perfect atmosphere for a burger joint. The restaurant opened last year and has now celebrated its first anniversary. It will be a new store under the management of Fumio Yonezawa. I tried the Ufumayo, Corned Beef with Mustard Seeds, Cola, and the Chillmatic Burger with French Fries. The quality of the burgers is top-notch, with high-quality buns and juicy patties. Everything is of high quality, but the tanginess of the mustard seeds left a lasting impression. With a great atmosphere and delicious food, I definitely want to revisit. Isn't it a great restaurant?

TabeLog Top 5000. Visited on Sunday at 14:55, seating rate was around 70%. Located in a building right in front of the Toei Bus Shibuya Garage, the interior has a stylish and bar-like atmosphere. When being seated, I was informed that the avocado, mushroom, and tomato ingredients for today's menu were sold out, so certain dishes couldn't be made. I looked at the menu and ordered a Cheeseburger with a Burger Combo (potato, salad, chicken, drink set), with crispy chicken and homemade lemonade. The friendly staff mentioned that they had only one bun left, so I asked what they would do in the evening. They said that due to unexpected high customer traffic yesterday and today, they ran out of ingredients and would be closing early today! It was a close call, as it could have been a wandering situation if I arrived a bit later! The homemade lemonade arrived in 2-3 minutes, and it looked stylish. It had a freshly squeezed lemon taste, truly giving off a homemade vibe. The hamburger arrived in 7-8 minutes, with salad, potato, and crispy chicken all on one plate. The crispy chicken had a spicy seasoning, which was tasty but not overly spicy. The potato fries were thick and had a strong potato flavor. The burger bun seemed more fried than baked, with a crispy texture. The patty had a crumbly texture with a bit of a chewy consistency, somewhere in between. Since there were no leafy greens in the burger, I enjoyed changing flavors by eating it with the salad. The total bill was 2600 yen including tax, with a single Cheeseburger for 1300 yen, Burger Combo for 1200 yen, and an additional charge of 100 yen for the homemade lemonade. I couldn't use my Suica card, but I could pay with PayPay. As I was leaving after finishing my meal, I noticed a sign at the entrance stating that they were closing early. By the way, I saw in my notes that I had written "Pastrami Sandwich" for Tabelog article, maybe I'll try that next time.

I visited Chillmatic in Higashi-Shibuya! I was surprised to hear that they would be closing their current location at the end of September, so I hurried to visit. However, I was relieved to learn that they will be relocating. With that in mind, I indulged in a hearty meal once again! First, let me explain the sides (or rather, mains!) I tried. Italian-sourced confit of sardines with basil sauce - the basil sauce underneath enhances the flavor, and the sardines were a rare treat! Semi-dried carrots - with a slightly firm texture and a sauce that doesn't overpower, allowing the sweetness of the carrots to shine! Egg mayo - a must-try at Chillmatic! The combination of whole grain mustard mayo and soft-boiled egg is outstanding. Hummus & falafel - a vegan dish with chickpea croquettes and a sauce made from mashed chickpeas. The texture is more like a croquette than mashed chickpeas! Watermelon carpaccio - the juicy watermelon paired with olive oil is a perfect match! The mild mozzarella cheese complements the dish perfectly. Slow-cooked pork shoulder ham - tender and flavorful ham that is more like meat! Homemade, so the flavors are rich and addictive! In between, I sipped on a craft beer with chili flavor. The subtle spiciness of the chili flavor made it a perfect summer drink! Now, onto the mains. First, the melon burger - a unique burger made with melon and homemade yogurt sorbet. The combination of aged meat patty, lime-marinated honey-drizzled melon, and refreshing sorbet was incredibly delicious. The marinated melon adds a pickled element to the dish! Lastly, I tried the garlic and cheese slider. The garlic, sourced directly from Aomori, is used in its fresh form, giving it a spicy kick! The confit preparation makes it soft and moist, and the garlic flavor stimulates the appetite, especially with the addition of cheese! I've discovered new ways to enjoy garlic! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal once again at Chillmatic! It's too sad that Chillmatic will be momentarily gone! Please bring it back soon! Lastly, thank you for the delicious meal! Located about 7-8 minutes walking from Shibuya Station towards Ebisu, this burger joint has been gaining popularity since it opened last year. The burgers are made by the person who appeared on Good Vibes. I visited around 6:30 pm on a Saturday and was told over the phone that they might be sold out of buns by then, so I was prepared for that possibility. They don't usually do reservations, but luckily they had one bun left for me. The atmosphere is cool with a long, stylish layout and rainbow lights in the kitchen area. The menu features the signature Chili Matic Burger made with pastrami, as well as classic cheeseburgers and mushroom burgers. I usually just go for cheeseburgers at burger joints, but I ordered the Chili Matic Burger this time. The special buns were crispy and fragrant, sandwiching a juicy patty and flavorful pastrami. The whole combination was meaty and satisfying, especially for pastrami lovers. I also tried their homemade ginger ale which was delicious. I definitely want to come back and try their regular cheeseburger next time.

It's about a 10-15 minute walk from Shibuya Station, so not exactly close to the station, but the shop is quite spacious and comfortable. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with a potato set, and both the burger and the fries were delicious. The buns were crispy on the outside. Mustard added a nice touch to the flavor. It might have been a bit greasy, but I would definitely want to go back here again.

This is a hamburger restaurant located in the Daikanyama area, which is almost Shibuya (recently called East Shibuya). The interior of the restaurant is a stylish space filled with a street atmosphere, typical of Shibuya. I ordered the double cheeseburger (1950 yen) from the numerous menu options. I also ordered a draft beer (Heartland) and after a short wait, the burger arrived. Wow! The appearance is very manly. Since it's a double, I first tried one patty with a knife and fork. The aged meat patty is almost like a steak, very meaty and full of umami rather than meat juices. It's delicious! After enjoying one patty, I had another beer. Then I put the burger back in the bag and took a bite. The slightly salty patty I tasted earlier now blends well with the burger, creating a harmonious taste. The crispy buns, onions, and homemade mustard enhance the umami. The size is just right, so I finished it in no time! There were also many foreign customers dining. It was so delicious! I went back to "Chillmatic" after almost a year since my last visit, thinking I should go again. Last time, I had their signature Chillmatic burger (pastrami patty with homemade mustard) and had a good impression. This time, I decided to try their limited-time special burger. The burger I had this time was a Philly Cheese Steak Dry Aged Beef Burger, with cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and aged beef patty sandwiched between brioche buns. The brioche buns were buttery and delicious, and the aged beef patty was a bit lighter in flavor compared to before, but the rich Philly cheese steak made it meaty and satisfying. Even though the burger looked meat-heavy, the overall balance was well done. The homemade French fries were cooked perfectly and seasoned just right, making them very enjoyable. The green salad served as a side helped lighten the meal without being too heavy. The iced coffee in the set drink was a bit weak, which was a bit disappointing, but overall, the impression was good. It's the morning of July 2023. On my way back from Shibuya early in the morning, I stopped by a restaurant in a building where there are eateries and a hotel on the first floor. Next to it seemed to be the entrance of a hotel, with many travelers who had just checked out wandering around the entrance. During the day, it seems to be popular as a hamburger shop, but in the morning, they only offer morning plates and no hamburgers. Well, not many people would want to eat a hamburger in the morning anyway. The interior of the restaurant is bright with white tiled walls and cheerful background music. I ordered a bacon breakfast plate at the counter. It came with bacon, salad, sautéed mushrooms, beans, scrambled eggs, and toast. It seemed like they wanted you to make a sandwich with the toast and the ingredients. So, I sandwiched the bacon, egg, mushrooms, and beans between the toast and enjoyed it. It was stylish and delicious, but I wish they had more of each ingredient as I would have been more satisfied with less variety and more quantity. It's a bit far from the station, but it's a nice place to have a leisurely meal in a trendy atmosphere. Overall, it was a good restaurant experience.

I visited the restaurant before 10:00 PM on Saturday. There were several empty seats available. I was happy to see that they are open until 11:00 PM. I ordered a seasonal limited menu and coleslaw, and they were delicious. I believe all the menu items at this restaurant are tasty. I have a preference for beef 100 hand-chopped patties and have been repeating a few limited restaurants. The patty here is different from those, but I definitely want to come back to this restaurant.
