虎刈り若大将
The other day, I visited a super famous restaurant in my local area, North Ibaraki Prefecture, which is located just a 5-minute walk from Kita-no Station on the Keio Takao Line and Keio Line in Hachioji City. This restaurant is called Itasoba Wazen Kitano Masudaya. The reason why this local super famous restaurant in Hachioji City is holding on to the name of Nagaya51, who was born in Kanagawa Prefecture and then moved to North Ibaraki City after birth, and never letting it go, is because of the strong and glamorous linkage between Kita-no, the name of the restaurant, and the Nagaya surname of Takashi Nagaya, a famous singer. Now, as for Nagaya51, he was born in Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and then moved to North Ibaraki City. During his middle school years, he was a member of the baseball club, but in his third year, he tried javelin throwing at the recommendation of the track and field club advisor, and in just 3 months of practice, he participated in the Junior Olympics javelin throw event, achieving a throw of 77.42m, setting a middle school record and winning a silver medal. As a result, he was invited by the JOC to be a designated javelin thrower, but Nagaya51 refused and continued playing baseball. After entering Meisho Gakuen Hitachi High School, a prestigious school in Ibaraki Prefecture, he made it to the bench from his second year, and during the high school baseball fair in his third year, he hit a big home run that hit the roof of a building outside the Nagara River Stadium, hitting 5 home runs in 6 games and becoming the center of attention. He also recorded a top speed of 146km/h as a pitcher. As a two-way player, he led the team to its first ever final in the Ibaraki Prefectural Tournament in the summer of his third year, but unfortunately, they lost to Joso Gakuin. Although Meisho Hitachi High School has been completely disconnected from the national tournament at Koshien Baseball Stadium, in the 2016 NPB draft, he was selected as an outfielder by the Yokohama DeNA BayStars in the 5th round, jumping into the professional baseball world as a promising star nurtured by Ibaraki Prefecture. At the start of the 2017 season, he began in the minor leagues, but in the Fresh All-Star Game, he played a full game as the 7th batter and right fielder for the Eastern League selection. In the Eastern League, he played in 114 games, reached the official batting average, and despite a batting average of .201, he showed an impressive performance with 10 home runs and 33 RBIs. After the season, he received the Eastern League's Big Hope Award and Effort Award. He made his first appearance in the first team in the official game against the Chunichi Dragons on October 3, after the team's league position was confirmed. In his first at-bat with runners on first and third and two outs in the first inning, he hit a 3-run home run off Shota Kasahara, achieving his first hit, home run, RBI, and run in a single swing. This home run was the 61st first at-bat home run in the history of Japanese professional baseball, but it was the first in the team's history and the sixth in the history of Japanese professional baseball for a high school graduate rookie. He was also used as a starter in the next day's game against the Chunichi Dragons, the team's final game of the regular season, and hit a go-ahead solo home run in his second at-bat in the fifth inning of a 1-1 game. Nagaya51 became the first high school graduate rookie in the post-1950 two-league system to hit home runs in consecutive games from his debut. He was also called up to the first team for the post-season and made his post-season debut as a pinch hitter in the first game of the Climax Series First Stage against the Hanshin Tigers. This was the first time a high school graduate rookie outfielder had participated in the Climax Series for the team, and the second player since Tetsuto Yamada of the Tokyo Yakult Swallows in 2011 to do so for other teams. He also appeared as a pinch hitter in three games in the Climax Series Final Stage against the Hiroshima Toyo Carp. It was the team's first Central League championship since 1998, and he ===========
