Located in the Kojiya Shotengai, Lyon is a franchise bakery. I recently had the opportunity to visit after a long time, as I have been exploring the nearby area of Zasshoku more frequently than my local area of Kojiya. On my way back from work by train, I got off at Kojiya on the Keikyu Line and walked through the shopping street. I remembered that we were out of breakfast bread at home, so I was drawn into Lyon. Once inside the bakery, I also looked for some alcohol to accompany my meal. I bought a half loaf of bread for home, as the bread from the major supermarket is more than double the price. For myself, I chose a sausage-based bread and a bacon and egg bread, which I thought would go well with alcohol. Back at home, I indulged in a "kitchen drinker" session with the sausage-based bread, which was perfect with ketchup and a mayonnaise-based sauce. The combination of sausage and alcohol was a perfect match. Later, I served the bacon and egg bread as a snack and dinner combined. Although the bread was a bit tough, the egg on top and the bacon underneath made for a great alcohol snack. The bread served as the main dish for dinner, providing just the right amount of volume. The next morning, I toasted the bread for my family, and they noticed that it tasted different from our usual bread. Lyon in Kojiya, which I visited after a long time, offers a variety of bread that is perfect for both drinking and dining.

Before the planned visit, I went to a high-end bakery where I could only buy one piece of bread. So, I decided to visit Bakery Quartet, which was featured on "The Walking Master" website, but it was still closed until 10:00. Since I couldn't wait until opening time, I went to this place on the way. Items: - Fried Chicken: 150 yen It tasted like a famous fried chicken chain. The chicken was very tender and juicy. - Croissant: 185 yen It had a strong buttery flavor and a fluffy texture. - Curry Bread: 180 yen It was mild and had a lot of filling. I prefer spicier curry though. - Mentaiko France: 259 yen The bread was not too hard and easy to eat. It had plenty of spicy cod roe, but the salty taste was a bit strong. - Carbonara: 240 yen It had macaroni inside and tasted just like carbonara. The cream was rich and the salty taste was strong. Overall impression: Reasonably priced. However, I felt that the seasoning was too strong for my taste.

I had been curious about it for a while, so I bought several types of bread. The image is of an egg and bacon bread, which is delicious and rich in protein, so it's good for your health. They also have fried bread and regular bread, among others, so I want to go back again. Highly recommended.

Located in the middle of Kojiya Shopping Street, this bakery is a place I often visit. One holiday, on my way back from drinking elsewhere, around 6 p.m., I decided to stop by to find some bread that would go well with a light meal or a drink. Many of the options were already sold out, but I chose the classic "Curry Bread" and "Bacon and Egg" out of what was left. I started with the "Bacon and Egg" bread, which was like a six-slice sandwich with bacon, fried egg, and a mayo-based sauce, lightly toasted. It had a good amount of salt and the sauce was tasty, making it a perfect match for alcohol. This was more of a bread for drinking rather than a meal. The next day, for lunch, I had the Curry Bread. I had only eaten a light onigiri from the supermarket for lunch, so I was still hungry. I remembered the Curry Bread I bought the night before and decided to have it. The sign in the store said, "Curry Bread has been reborn," but I couldn't tell how it had changed. It was a spicy curry bread that left a lingering kick in my mouth. It was a classic deep-fried bread with curry filling, but it wasn't heavy. Although my choices are often similar, all the breads are delicious and go well with alcohol. I will continue to rely on this bakery in the future.

Is this your first time buying bread in Lyon? I have local Lyon bread since my student days when my parents used to buy it often. Chocolate bars are a taste of home for me. I love them so much and always enjoyed eating them. Hey, are you doing well, mom? I'm managing somehow in Tokyo. I feel a strong homesickness. I also used to eat curry bread a lot. That taste is still alive and well in any store. Consistent taste touches people's hearts. Not greasy, not dry, a standard curry bread that is delicious for kids and the elderly alike. The Lyon bread has become the de facto standard at the National Curry Bread Council (I don't know). The curry bread costs 200 yen, and the chocolate bar costs 150 yen. Lyon's cost-performance is amazing. Wishing you lasting happiness.

Located in the middle of Kojiya Shotengai, this bakery is a great stop for a quick snack on the way back from a train ride. It was Saturday at 5:00 PM when I visited, and although some breads were sold out, there were still a few options left. I chose the Tartine, a large baguette topped with potatoes, ham, mushrooms, and mayonnaise-based sauce, as well as the classic Curry Pan. The Tartine was a hearty meal-like bread, with generous toppings on sliced baguette. The Curry Pan was delicious with slightly spicy curry filling. The Tartine was quite heavy, but would go well with alcohol. I would love to stop by again for some "bread drinking" and look for a suitable companion next time.

The "Lyon Misai-kan" in Hagi-naka 2-1-22, Ota-ku, Tokyo, located in the Kojiya shopping street, offers a delicious "Korotama Coppe" for 270 yen. It is a coppe bread filled with egg and croquettes. The coppe bread is soft and the shop opens at 6:30 in the morning. They also have various other types of bread, but when I visit a bakery, I always look for an an-donut. I bought one for 151 yen, which was filled with sweet red bean paste. I also purchased the "Tsubutsubu Peanut Coppe" for 151 yen. The Korotama Coppe costs 270 yen and is very satisfying and delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

While strolling through Kojiya Shopping Street, I came across this bakery and decided to buy some bread for tomorrow's breakfast. The shop was small, with bread being baked in the back. I purchased a "Franck donut," an "anko donut," and a "red bean paste bun." The red bean paste bun had a unique feature with a pickled cherry blossom in the middle, adding a nice sweet and salty flavor to the red bean paste.

Kojiya Bakery, located in the middle of Kojiya Shotengai that stretches south from Keikyu Airport Line Kojiya Station. On this day, I had a light drink at a store in the shotengai in the evening. On the way back, since my usual off-day bread for breakfast was out, I decided to stop by here and buy their bread instead of the bread from a major bread company at the supermarket. The bread here is about twice the price of the supermarket, but it has a good aroma and tastes delicious, so I thought I would treat myself to this occasional luxury. I also looked for a snack to accompany the bread, and I bought a garlic rusk. I also bought another sausage-based bread, but I forgot to take a picture of it. I topped the rusk with oil sardines and lightly grilled it in the oven. It got a little burnt, but the garlicky, Italian-style crispy snack was delicious. It goes well not only with fizzy alcoholic drinks like beer or chu-hi, but also with wine. Oil sardines alone make a great drinking snack, but by lightly grilling the garlic-scented rusk, it elevates the snack to a higher level, tickling your nose. Although it doesn't have a buttery scent, it gives a slight sense of luxury, almost like eating French bread. It's not quite a cheap snack, but if you can create this kind of atmosphere with an affordable rusk, there's nothing to complain about. It unexpectedly turned out to be a delicious and luxurious snack.

Higata Shopping Street is home to a popular bakery franchise that is located in the heart of the neighborhood. One weekday, I decided to stop by for some nighttime "bread and drinks" while shopping in the area. Unfortunately, some items were sold out, but I was still able to enjoy some bread and drinks. I picked up a fish burger and a panini, both of which seemed like they would pair well with drinks. The panini had ham and a little bit of cabbage sandwiched between moist, thin bread. It was a bit heavy, but it went well with alcohol. The fish burger, on the other hand, was too big to be a drink companion, so I saved it for breakfast the next day. The large bun made for a filling meal with delicious fried white fish, tartar sauce, lettuce, cabbage, and onions. It was a satisfying and reasonably priced bakery that offers a variety of bread options for a tasty "bread and drinks" experience.

"Kojiya Shotengai" located south from Kojiya Station on the Keikyu Airport Line. On a certain holiday, I went out in the afternoon and had a light drink while out. I returned to the local area around 17:15 and decided to stop by a bakery with the idea of having a bread and drink session. Since it was in the evening, some of the bread was already sold out. I chose the "Curry Frank" and "Tartilla", which seemed to go well with beer. I also bought a half-size of a slightly higher-class bread called "Bonjour" for my bread-loving family at home. Now, as for me, I am a kitchen drinker who enjoys bread and drinks. First, I tried the Tartilla. It had a familiar mayonnaise-based sauce with minced meat and onions, topped with tartar sauce and lightly baked. It felt quite filling, almost like having a side dish sandwiched in bread. Then, I tried the Curry Frank, a combination of sausage and curry bread. The sausage was good quality and the curry flavor and aroma were appetizing. However, both breads were quite filling. After having both, my stomach felt quite full. My family at home, who usually only eats bread from major supermarkets, found the high-class bread I brought back to be delicious and different. They were surprised and even suggested buying a full-size next time if it suits their taste. This bakery, where I bought bread for my bread and drink session and for my family's breakfast, offers reasonably priced and convenient options for the local community."

I often go to a local bakery that I have rooted in, but surprisingly I have never taken any photos, so this time I will write a review for the first time. It is a bakery in town where you can find a wide variety of reliable classic products. They have a lot of sandwich and deli bread, and I tend to buy them for lunch. They have a wide variety of jams inside the coppe bread, and you can order them to be made to your liking. If you're not sure what to have for lunch, this place might be the one.

I stopped by Ryon-san at Kojiya Shotengai a bit early for some food. I bought two popular items, a croquette and egg sandwich and a sausage sandwich, which are made with popular coppe bread near the entrance. The coppe bread was soft and fluffy, with plenty of croquette and egg, making it very voluminous. The taste was also delicious. The sausage sandwich was also delicious, and what was meant to be a snack ended up being a meal. There are quite a few bakeries around the Kojiya area, but this one was the most down-to-earth and convenient.

Whenever I visit Kojiya, I always want to go to this bakery. They have a wide variety of sandwiches that are juicy and delicious. The fluffy coppe bread is irresistible! I always end up buying the shrimp cutlet sandwich, with the fluffy coppe bread and the fried shrimp cutlet topped with plenty of tartar sauce, it's absolutely enchanting. The bakery in the shopping street has a nostalgic and friendly atmosphere. It's the kind of bakery you'd want in your neighborhood. The fact that they have an eat-in space is also a big plus.

There is a bakery located a little ways into the Kojiya shopping street from the Kanpachi intersection, which seems to have several locations in Ota Ward and other parts of Tokyo. The shop recently moved and now it is quite spacious, with long opening hours making it very convenient. I sometimes go there on weekend mornings, and they have a wide variety of sandwiches and bread at reasonable prices. My favorite is the pepper bacon sandwich on soft French bread, with a delicious combination of mayonnaise and black pepper. They also focus on their coppe bread, making it fresh to order so you can try different varieties. It's not a place you would travel far for, but it's perfect for everyday use.

The pork cutlet sandwich has a thick, tender, and delicious tonkatsu. The curry bread has a chewy dough and a generous amount of curry filling, making it tasty. Although they cost 454 yen for both, I was satisfied.
