Doutor in front of JR Nakano Station in Nakano Sun Mall. I had some time to spare before the store I was looking for opened, so I took a break here. The cafes and fast food restaurants in Nakano Sun Mall were all crowded in the morning, but this one seemed relatively easy to get into, so I went in. There are seats on the 2nd and 3rd floors besides the 1st floor, but I didn't check. I ordered the "Morning Set A (450 yen)" with iced coffee as it was still within the morning ordering time. The toast in the A set comes with ham and potato salad. The iced coffee and toast were both delicious, and the morning set price felt reasonable compared to other cafe chains. There were other morning menu options available, so I'd like to try them at a different location if I have the chance.

After enjoying plenty of garlic dishes at a garlic restaurant in Nakano, I looked up some refreshing cafes on Tabelog. However, I couldn't find anything that stood out, so I decided to walk towards Starbucks. On the way, I stumbled upon this place and decided to check it out. Their iced coffee was so refreshing and delicious!

The other day, I was walking around Nakano and got tired, so I wanted to take a break somewhere. I ordered an iced coffee and it came out quickly, cold and delicious, which helped me relax. I will definitely visit again!

Doutor provides a sense of peace. It seems to be designed for solo use, as it is overall narrow. When passing on the stairs, you have to wait at the corner to turn back in order to pass each other. There are three floors, and the third floor seems to allow smoking. The second floor also has seats with outlets, which is convenient. It's nice to be able to see people passing by on Sunmall from the counter by the window. Since it was after lunch, the black sugar latte was sweet and felt like a dessert, which was nice.

Today I went to the Doutor near my home. After taking care of tax matters at the bank, I had breakfast at the Sanmall. It's a Doutor that opened in a place where they used to sell curry bread. It's been a while since it opened, but it was my first time visiting. I had the Morning Set B with Smoked Chicken Potato and Honey Mustard Sauce, along with coffee, for just over 450 yen. I took a break and then headed back to the office. Thank you for the meal.

A new shop that opened in Nakano Sunmall about half a year ago. The interior is long and narrow with seats lined up neatly. I thought it was clean and fresh. I got a medium size blended coffee to go. It was nice and hot on a cold day! It's been a while since I've been to Doutor, or maybe it's because of my health, but the taste felt a bit weak. Thank you for the meal!

In Street View, the location used to be a different store, but now it's a Doutor Coffee shop, so the interior is new and clean. Since it's a chain store, there's nothing special to say about the taste or menu, but the staff who took my order were kind and polite. When I was deciding what to order, they even recommended something they thought I might like. While waiting for my order, I saw on the camera footage that the staff were cleaning the tables on the second and third floors. The store is just really clean! There are outlets at the solo seats, so I would like to visit again. The photo is of the seats on the second floor.

Until about two years ago, most of my reviews were for things I used at night. I often drank on my way home from work and even called myself the night reviewer in Nakano. However, I became unemployed and the situation of coming home from work disappeared. Furthermore, due to the coronavirus pandemic, going out for drinks has decreased, and now my reviews are mostly about lunch. Well, I still drink even at lunch. But now it is scorching hot. It's quite hot just to go out for lunch. I prefer to eat something from the refrigerator for lunch and not go out from the cool comfort of my air-conditioned home. But then I can't write reviews. That's also frustrating. So, I came up with a plan to go out in the cool morning and write a review of the morning. I immediately visited the reopened Doutor in Nakano Sun Mall. I ordered the Morning C Set with an iced coffee in size S. This combination is the most affordable at 398 yen including tax. The meal in the C Set is a German dog, which is basically a hot dog consisting of bread, sausage, and mustard. The absence of ketchup, a regular member of hot dogs, may be to prevent getting the shirt dirty with ketchup in the morning and feeling gloomy before going to work. Now, about this review, I am using the technique of taking action in the cool morning during hot weather. This is a technique I learned from summer radio exercises. Furthermore, when I can't think of anything important to talk about, I write about trivial things to increase the number of words. This is a technique I learned from summarizing my summer diary at the end of August when I couldn't remember what happened on a certain day. But since it's a diary, I had to write something when I couldn't remember, so I learned this technique. In other words, I am getting through my 55th summer with the techniques I learned during summer vacation as a primary school student.

I tried the new Doutor that just opened. The atmosphere is fresh, with flowers displayed at the storefront. I ordered a blended iced coffee for takeout. It had a bit of a bitter taste, but considering the price of 220 yen including tax, it's reasonable. The richness of the flavor is excellent.

It turns out today is the grand opening day (ﾟдﾟ) My second purpose for coming to Nakano was to use a Starbucks drink voucher that I had received, but I decided to change my plans last minute (I'll visit Starbucks next time, haha). Despite saying that I want to take things at my own pace, I seem to have become a slave to Tabelog recently, haha. I decided to come back later since there was a line, and on my second visit, I decided to buy something to take away. The store was long and narrow, with seating in the back for dine-in customers! Since I didn't have much time before my bus departure, I opted for takeout. The dine-in area seemed quite busy too! I had no idea if there was any special promotion for the grand opening. Maybe the coffee beans were on sale? I didn't pay much attention since I don't grind my own beans, haha. I was a bit flustered while waiting in line, but surprisingly, my turn came quickly, and I decided to try the Float that caught my eye near the entrance due to the heat (I was planning to get a Frappuccino at Starbucks anyway, so it's similar, haha). I couldn't find the Float on the menu at the register, but it seemed like you could add soft serve to most cold drinks (it was indicated on the receipt). I was torn between Tea Float and Cocoa Float, and I ended up choosing the Cocoa Float. Like other Doutor Coffee shops, they accept various payment methods like PayPay. Despite asking for a receipt, I completely forgot about it and walked away with just the product, but the staff kindly ran after me to give it to me... I always seem to make these clumsy mistakes at crowded places during openings, sorry... The scorching heat caused the Float part to sink before I even reached the bus stop at the north exit... But the soft serve was intact, and I enjoyed it. I had no idea what used to be at this location (later found out it was a curry restaurant?), but I was happy to unexpectedly witness the grand opening. The scorching heat caused the Float to melt, but it revived me, and I felt alive again with the drink.

The cafe opened on July 31st. I noticed the congratulatory flowers for the grand opening when I went to Sun Mall for lunch. I went back another day for dinner. It's a three-story Doutor. The entrance is narrow so there aren't many seats, but it's convenient for a casual visit near Nakano Station. The small size soy latte is 330 yen, and the small size vegetable juice is 390 yen (tax included). The glasses are large which is nice. The limited-time Milan sandwich with beef kalbi and cheese (636 yen) was disappointing. It comes with rooibos tea for a total of 872 yen. The sandwich is small with little meat, and the flavors are overwhelming. The beef kalbi is too fatty and sweet, and adding cheese makes it too rich. There's a small amount of lettuce and Korean seaweed, but I wish there was more lettuce instead of seaweed. The service is standard Doutor, but I wish they paid more attention to cleanliness in the store.

The first floor is narrow, but there is also a second floor that is bright and clean.

I often order the soy milk latte at Doutor. The latte art is cute, but this time... what is it? Maybe a heart? It's the shop in front of Uniqlo.
